This is a simple tip to unclog air stones that Jack and Dan told me about ( • Sensational Shout-Outs... ). Thanks guys! www.patreon.com/user?u=27230568
Fishman!!!! Putting our stuff to the test!!!! Thanks dude....we are so glad you found our trick helpful and we are always trying to help give people good ideas just like you are....it's just one of those things I've always done and passed on to Jack....I don't even remember when I thought of it....Jack would say that means I'm getting old hahahaha....Have a fantastic Valentine's weekend Fishman!!!!
That is awesome. ive always hated just throwing air stones away knowing that there should be some way to save them and they will just end up in a landfill somewhere.
I tried looking for the build video for these but UA-cam doesn't have their playlists going back that far. Unfortunately I don't remember what the video was called. I do plan a variation on this soon and will incorporate how to make these in that
Just be careful using air from compressor as it can have oil in the air then passed into your tank. I would recommend using an inline air filter if using an air compressor great tip too.
hey...10 15 airstones can be use instead of ceremic ring? bcz airstones have shape as c.ring.....everything is same...but with airstone...will get colors too...wats ur suggestion!!
I have one of those air diffuser hose things and I notice it's not putting out bubbles all the way to the surface and it only does when I lift it up closer to the surface. I don't have an air compressor. I tried soaking it in Vinegar and water which somebody suggested and that didn't really increase the bubbles. Is there another way to unclog it? I do have a hand push pump for wheelchair cushion. Would that work?
Any compressed air should help. Getting enough pressure is the only requirement. Jack & Dan use a bike pump and find it works well. Please let me know how it goes
What are the point of these air stones in a fish tank? Is it just the same thing as a bubbler basically? Is it just to provide air bubbles? Please let me know cause im wondering if i need this for my fishtank
I have an air-stone that’s built into a tank decoration…it started burning a big bubble a other second, it’s loud and probably annoys the fish too. What’s the cause for this and how can I address is ? Thanks for any suggestions.
There are some tricks, but without knowing what the stone is made of it is hard to suggest anything. If you could email a quick vid to me that would also help. fishmanericrussell@gmail.com
I have a volcano decor air stone...if it ever goes out...ill just work on it take it out and install a airstone micky mouse it they r only 2$ a airstone
We just attach our bicycle pump right where the tube connects to the air pump and give it a good blasty blast and it works great....hopefully it helps....

The thought of forcing air through them hasn’t occurred to me before. I generally avoid air stones as the pumps are just noisy.
I have . But never tried since I'm a novice and never seen it before on the journey fish people. So I thought it may have been taboo. Go figure
@@RobertoGarcia-ni8vl ....Sometimes the simplest idea are the best ones....
It seems to work. Thanks for coming by
@Pniko I'm curious to know what you use instead of the air stone. Looking for suggestions.
I bought a pump on Amazon that is super quiet

They don't have any real purpose other than to supply some extra current and surface agitation
wil ballon pump work?
Sweet
Thanks!
Hello. Can you also help me to know how much bubble speed should i keep in air stone pump?
There is no real amount. It just comes down to what you like the look of.
What is the instrument called ?

I've been trying to figure out why every time I do this, the airstone blows apart... now I know... keep it wet, don't let it dry out first!
Good to know.
@@Zaku186 LOL Yeah, I should have known! LOL :-D
