    That is awesome. ive always hated just throwing air stones away knowing that there should be some way to save them and they will just end up in a landfill somewhere.

    Works like a charm found a old ballon pump it just needs minimal pressure and back working thanks

    Lol. I do basically the same thing but I just use my mouth. I never thought of using a compressor. Nice. :)

      I tried looking for the build video for these but UA-cam doesn't have their playlists going back that far. Unfortunately I don't remember what the video was called. I do plan a variation on this soon and will incorporate how to make these in that

      Glad you like them. All I do is drape them over a rock piece of coral to weigh them down

    Just be careful using air from compressor as it can have oil in the air then passed into your tank. I would recommend using an inline air filter if using an air compressor great tip too.

    hey...10 15 airstones can be use instead of ceremic ring? bcz airstones have shape as c.ring.....everything is same...but with airstone...will get colors too...wats ur suggestion!!

    I have one of those air diffuser hose things and I notice it's not putting out bubbles all the way to the surface and it only does when I lift it up closer to the surface. I don't have an air compressor. I tried soaking it in Vinegar and water which somebody suggested and that didn't really increase the bubbles. Is there another way to unclog it? I do have a hand push pump for wheelchair cushion. Would that work?

      Any compressed air should help. Getting enough pressure is the only requirement. Jack & Dan use a bike pump and find it works well. Please let me know how it goes

    The thought of forcing air through them hasn’t occurred to me before. I generally avoid air stones as the pumps are just noisy.

    What are the point of these air stones in a fish tank? Is it just the same thing as a bubbler basically? Is it just to provide air bubbles? Please let me know cause im wondering if i need this for my fishtank

      They don't have any real purpose other than to supply some extra current and surface agitation

    I have an air-stone that’s built into a tank decoration…it started burning a big bubble a other second, it’s loud and probably annoys the fish too. What’s the cause for this and how can I address is ?

      I have a volcano decor air stone...if it ever goes out...ill just work on it take it out and install a airstone micky mouse it they r only 2$ a airstone

    I've been trying to figure out why every time I do this, the airstone blows apart... now I know... keep it wet, don't let it dry out first!

      We just attach our bicycle pump right where the tube connects to the air pump and give it a good blasty blast and it works great....hopefully it helps....

      Try soaking them in vinegar overnight and try again
