L4D2 has horrible hit detection issues. If they were fixed the game would be amazing fun.
@@thishandleistaken1011 I've never had any issues with that, and I used to speedrun the game. The one thing I could consider a hit detection issue is the knife, which the swinging hit box for that thing is down right atrocious. But for real, I have never heard a single person complain about that ever.

Saints Row 1 and 2 has clunky controls, but is god tier. Everything co-op too. You can steal and save 100 cars at yo cribs and customize all of them.
I only played 1 and 2 I think they were fun.
1 and 2 are so insanely good for the time they came out in. They had so much character

I dated this girl that was super obsessed with that game. She was actually a gamestop manager and made me play that, she just starts up a save file from SR2, and it was this cartoon character with a no shit huge purple dildo. so I just look at her and hand her the controller. that was all I needed to know about that game.
Wasn't a huge fan of gta 4 but after saints row 2 I was convinced the saints row series could potentially, legitimately compete against grand theft auto. Then the 3rd one came out and I learned that will never be the case.

I played saints row 1 to full completion and beyond when I was like 11 years old. Eventually I got the second one and a couple weeks after I started playing it, my dad sold the Xbox. I didn't get to play the second one until just this year when I was able to get my own console and buy the second one for myself. It was bittersweet playing it because it brought me back to those times I played the first and second games as a kid. It feels like just last week I was a kid playing it, but in reality it's been over a decade ago. Overall I still had a shitload of fun playing it after all these years though. Such a fun game despite its clunky controls

CS takes effort to be good at. The mechanics being inaccessible to most people is what has always made the game pretty fun to me. I like the fact that you can't just hop on and be mediocre off the bat. Learning to properly control recoil, aim strafe, air strafe, bhop, throw good flashes and smokes, etc. Makes it so much more fun.

Ground war with infantry soldiers does seem very outdated.
The movie "Monsters of Man" is a very good movie about using humanoid robots that learn in order to fight wars, it's very intense and entertaining at the same time and a pretty good commentary about the potential future of warfare.

saints row 1 and 2 are clunky, true, but both are extremely fun for "nasty gta clones". the writing in these games is surprisingly good. while gameplay is... serviceable... the atmosphere carries both games
Video games are straight up not fun anymore, I had to quit a few years ago. The only games I play at all anymore, are the coop ones at my brothers place. The industry is totally zogged out and corporatized. I quit around the time of microtransactions getting pushed heavy, that stuff made me sick to my stomach. I miss the days when spending money on a game you already bought meant a DLC, like undead nightmare or blood dragon. Now it’s just a new costume for your character. So. Lame.

You can customize literally everything and anything about Counterstrike with console commands or even the expanded settings (which do the same thing) with the recent updates. His talk about the movement and turning is due to some bogus settings that someone made for him, or they used a config for a pro and ignored Nick's hardware setup. Basically, with CS, you just want low sensitivity and a huge mousepad. If you're playing with a smaller mousepad, you obviously can't just copy/paste a competitive config and expect it to make sense lol. I play on 1.76 sensitivity and 600 dpi, which won't work with a small mousepad.

Grand Theft Auto used to be a parody of excess and a satire of the decline of the West (peak being the brilliance of GTA4) only for them to become what they ridiculed by GTA5. Saints Row made fun of GTA in a way that was even less self serious and did so with quadruple the game mechanics and fleshed out minigames and a full fledged gang system. GTA5 tried to copy this and poorly on top of the re*arded tone handling that is hypocritical to early Rockstar. But ya the controls suck. What a gem tho that couldve dethroned these bikes stupid franchise.
