  • Psychedelic drugs, once dismissed by some as a flashback to 1960s counterculture, have generated a resurgence of mainstream interest in the last few years. According to a study published by the National Institutes of Health, the use of psilocybin mushrooms has taken over as the predominant psychedelic in use globally since the 1970s, ahead of LSD. Will the use of psychedelics ever be universally accepted? Are stigmas associated with drug use and abuse curtailing important research on the true benefits and detriments of these substances? This conversation showcases the expertise of researchers, practitioners, and investors on the cutting edge of the use of psychedelics, and it offers innovative perspectives to help expand our minds and open up to the healing potential of these drugs.

Fascinating! I have always been against any type of drug and have never even tried any mind enhancing drugs, but after listing to you all, I'm completely sold on psychedelic drug treatment. I look forward to hearing more as the trials progress.

That's my senpai up there moderating this talk. Tim, as a fellow linguist and lover of Buenos Aires, I'm constantly pushed by you to do more with my life and to leave an indelible mark on the planet. Your work does matter. Probably not everything you do, and likely not to everyone, but a large amount of your collective efforts has edified me immensely for about six years now. You make a great surrogate big brother, as I'm sure others would agree. 今後ともよろしくお願いします。🙇‍♂️(Now back to the video...)

So gratifying to see someone like Tim Ferris helping "bend the arch of the future" in mental health. The topic is certainly controversial! But the scientific approach is so solid. Intriguing.... Thank you for sharing this.

Excellent panel discussion and I do hope that this field continues to move rapidly through the science and regulatory phases to potentially get relief to so many

Hi Tim, If it will help in any way to further this research, we would be honored to dedicate our large, pastoral, tropical mountain retreat in Ecuador to this cause. 4 large homes and a lodge set in a safe and secluded paradise.
Please feel free to contact me if you see a way that we can help advance and support this long overdue and excellent, game changing human development.
And thank you for your uniquely effective support of this important research.

You can do Ayahuasca in Costa Rica at a medically licensed facility with 5 star accommodations and more spiritual modalities; Rythmia! Made my life change and going back for a refresh! Life Changing! I am off all the medications I took for 11 years; for various, anxiety, depression, PTSD and sleep! Thank you, Rythmia

"When there is wave of capitalist interest that is when laws change." That statement feels lukewarm. Glad that entrepreneur guy is one of the 'good' capitalists. Anyways, great video! I recently read Michael Pollan's How to Change Your Mind. Recommended of course and further down the rabbit hole I/we go!

Amazing... I host a podcast for people recovering from addiction, many of whom have struggled with lifelong depression. This research is very exciting to me since the traditional treatments are ineffective for so many who struggle with these issues. What an exciting time!!

Too bad we didn't get to hear much from Robin. He has, arguably, a lot more to add to the conversation because of his research and understanding. missed opportunity

Would this be related to Dr. Richard Alpert(Ram Daas) & Dr. Timothy Leary research who cost them losing their status as professors at Harvard?

WHY TELEVISION IS ADDICTIVE AND HAS SUCH REAL, SUBSTANTIAL, INTERACTIVE, AND ADVERSE EFFECTS:
The ability of THOUGHT to DESCRIBE OR RECONFIGURE sensory experience is ULTIMATELY dependent upon the extent to which THOUGHT IS SIMILAR TO sensory experience. THOUGHTS ARE INVISIBLE. Dream experience is/involves true/real QUANTUM GRAVITY. Dream experience GROWS/INCREASES. Dreams are NOT a creation of thought. In fact, dreams make thought MORE LIKE sensory experience in general, thereby IMPROVING upon memory AND UNDERSTANDING. TeleVISION IS a FULL creation of thought, RELATIVELY. ACCORDINGLY, teleVISION SIGNIFICANTLY contributes to BOTH anxiety AND depression. IMPORTANT. It all makes sense. (In fact, there is no outsmarting THE GENIUS of dreams.) Importantly, balance and completeness go hand in hand. Imbalance AND LOSS go hand in hand. Addictions narrow and reduce experience. TeleVISION IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM.
