- Picked up a used scx6 honcho this past week and I have to say after today’s first run, this thing is a beast, as everyone who owns one, says. I took it to some of the areas I’ve taken my 1/10 rigs, like the Scx10iii CJ7 and the Trx4 Cherokee XJ. Pretty much made all the obstacles look like speed bumps. I tried finding the hardest lines I didn’t try with the 1/10 rigs and it did not disappoint. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy!

Those SCX6 are super cool, always wanted one. Maybe one day. Very cool 😎👍
They certainly are! I never thought I’d ever be able to get one, but one came up and I took a chance at a trade deal for it. So I jumped on it. Absolutely love it!
Awesome video and very good honcho, good job friend, a hug 👍💪😜👋
Thanks man! Having a blast with the Honcho!
Just installed the baja pro x 2.9s on mine..there something else..gnarly as hell..love em..nice video...👍
Thanks man! I’d love to have a set of those!
What a machine! I would love one of these i just literally have nowhere to put it. Great video.
Thanks man! It’s definitely a beast of a machine for sure! Literally goes where you point it! Can’t wait to hit more trails and find more challenging obstacles that I wouldn’t think of with my 1/10 rigs. Thanks again and thanks for watching!
Great video, I finally got one of these yesterday, still can’t believe the scale of it !! Videos don’t show the size very well. Once you have one , it’s a different story. The guy even threw in a set of mudslingers on Dick Cepek wheels, can’t wait to try those ! Keep up the great content 👍
Thanks man! You’re right! I just got mine not to long ago and the sheer size of it still amazes me! It sure does change the whole ball game as to what you can crawl, climb or bash over. It’s an amazing rig! I’ve recently just replaced all the bearings in mine to Jim’s Bearings as mine was used and pretty much used as a mud/water truck before I got it. Zero maintenance done to it. The stock insert foams were trashed and full of water. Replaced the tires and foams with Proline Super Swampers and Injora dual stage foams. I’m very impressed with the Injora dual stage for 22.00. 22.00 for an scx6?! Yes please! Upgraded all the steering components. The front axle shafts had pins missing but some how still, I was able to drive it without noticing. Replaced them with Vitavon axle shafts, vitavon C-hubs, vitavon servo mount/chassis brace, NSDRC RS2500 servo. Running 2 4s 6200 lipos in parallel. It’s almost unstoppable now. Next upgrade down the line will be upgraded axles. Other than that, I’m in love with this truck!
@@MidwestRCcrawler I’ve heard about 4S , then I heard it’s not a good idea. Motor can handle it I’m sure . I’ll have to grab a 4S battery with high MAH, she’s a pig on fuel 😂. Mine is used as well. In Canada this truck is just under $1600 , I got it for $750. Gonna be tough driving my 1/10 scale trucks from now on……
@@ryand4786 it can handle 4s just fine. Doing them in parallel, you’ll get tons more trail time. 4s is more efficient for this truck. So going from a 3s 6200, I got about 30 mins or more. With the 4s in parallel, I went from 6200 to 12,400mah and more than 2 hours of trail time. Way more fun that way. I do carry 2 3s 7600 in a pack just in case I’m not watching my time lol.
Oh man I gotta one.
It’s seriously a whole different experience in trailing and crawling.
Coming from a 1/10 how’s it feel to wheel this 1/6? Looks fun to trail with.
It’s such a huge difference. Especially if I take them both out at the same time. The obstacles don’t even look the same when the 6 rolls up on them. Makes me start looking for extreme lines that a 1/10 can only dream of making lol.
