I fundamently believe every single student of defense and strategy should know what happens on the tactical level of operations and foreign policy enforcement operations to not only better understand but also to better comprehend the nuances existent within the realm of individual combat situations and how that can affect the highest level of strategical planning, that is, Politics. In his book "on killing" he heavily bases his arguments off of research done by SLA Marshal, who would literally just make things up as historians went on to find out. One of the main points Grossman makes in his book is based on the "ratio of fire" theory which historians, actual scholars, have found that there is zero evidence for. Not to mention Grossmans weird and unhinged rant about violent video games in the same book, which again, actual scholars have found there is zero evidence that violent video games make people violent.

I KNOW from keen observation this dude has not killed anybody. My father and many others killed THOUSANDS during WWII on the eastern front. In his book "on killing" he heavily bases his arguments off of research done by SLA Marshal, who would literally just make things up as historians went on to find out. One of the main points Grossman makes in his book is based on the "ratio of fire" theory which historians, actual scholars, have found that there is zero evidence for. Not to mention Grossmans weird and unhinged rant about violent video games in the same book, which again, actual scholars have found there is zero evidence that violent video games make people violent.
