Sadly, the team founder (Count Homer) has left, so the mod is now in hiatus. The rest of the team is reorganising so it's possible that we get an update soon!
Not surprised he left. I love the idea of this mod but the writings been on the wall since the beginning that this was doomed. Homer deleted and remade his channel all the time, made a video literally just to ask 1 specific person to comment less, told everyone to get out of his discord server but changed his made at the last second when 95% of people had left, changed his mind AGAIN and kicked the remainders out anyway. All signs of someone who just doesn't have the confidence to commit to a project like this

Oh hey, this Rom hack! I actually played through the whole thing and it's pretty good despite being a bit rough around the edges.

The dialogue is my biggest pet peeve with this; I know Paper Mario has gotten dark at points, but not...edgy to this level. Even if it doesn't have the same 'punch', phrases like "game over"/"make you sleep under darkness' embrace" would fit more. It's more jarring bc it takes itself seriously, and I do think Dark Bowser's a bit out of character as a whole here and way too comedic as Fawful is there
This rom hack has a story that manages to somehow be edgy and cheesy at the same time. I can't even take it seriously, it wraps around back to being hilarious.
I find it funny how it even tries to make jokes like how Jr Troopa sold his soul for candies, while roboticized he just starts to quote informatic terms, then kills Goompa and he says "tell my grandkids i loved them" then he just poofs

Cool idea! The animation looks nice and I like how we have some new partners in a way! The fights in this mod were very underwhelming tbh. I really was hoping they do a lot more, but I understand it's still a WIP. Nicely done!

I think it would make more sense for the action command for Bowser's fire to be the same action command as Sushie's squirt.

That one part when the Bob-omb just goes, ‘Shut the f*** up, Dover’ XD. Jokes aside, this mod does a really good job of having that Bowser style, and besides Midbus, the mod has official-looking sprites. Great job to the team!

Bowser is the only villain in Nintendo that is a hero
Meta Knight,King Dedede,also Bowser ain't a hero,the only reasons he helps Mario save the world in the canon Mario games is so he could conquer it later, "You're saying this kingdom will vanish? THIS KINGDOM IS ALL MINE!" He doesn't do it because he's a nice person,he just wants to rule it on his own,he's no hero.
