The black fans are excellent for upvc cleaning, a good spray for conservatory roofs or gutters etc imo. But gardiner pencils are my choice for glass too
@@Darren-Green i have the ionic pure 2O and pencil jets in my brushes, the problem is that when i work 4 storys high or about 15 meters i cant take my brush off the window and when they dry there are white raindrop size spots on top and side
Hi Darren, great video, however do you find it accurate when rinsing with the fan jets? As you will know its so important not to get water above the top of the frame because dirt will drip on the clean glass after you walk away... it just looks like it would be so difficult to be accurate and in control when rinsing with all that spray all over the place? Thanks again for your vids very good and straight to the point without waffling
Darren as always love the videos and please keep them up.....what brush do you use for lead windows ..I use a gardener extreme but find it quite rough on lead
I wouldn't touch an xline product if they were the only company in the business mate. In fact I'd find a different trade before dealing with them. I have he Gardiners rinse bars but just haven't bothered fitting them yet.
Green Pro Clean Ltd I have an Xline pole and brush and I’m really happy with them,I’ve replaced all of my Gardiner equipment, I suppose it’s each to their own.
I use pencil jets never used fan jets is the fan jets better and quicker at rinsing windows after clean I feel like the pencil jets can take abit of rinsing
Also where do you get the red fan jets from? I've looked on eBay but all I can see are the brass fan jets the second brush u shown looks perfect for what I want it will save time rinsing the bits off with the second brush you shown as the normal jets you can be there chasing the bits off the window when rinsing
Darren, which pump and pressure are you using? I'm awaiting black fans to use with an overspray bar (for solar). 100 degree Gardiner jets are hen's teeth in the USA.
The debates about hydrophobic vs hydrophillic are people trying to be cleverer than they are in my honest opinion. I treat all glass the same, scrub till the sh** it gone quick rinse and move on. I honestly have never even bothered considering 'is this hydrophillic or hydrophobic' just clean it m8
Another great video Darren. Chock full of information.

Great stuff thanks. Need brush for my windows. Was looking at Gardiner, seem well made and not too horrifically priced if I stick to the clx range.
Thanks for the advice. I will be purchasing some brushes in a few months and this video will help.
Absolute Oracle of information. Thank you Darren
I’ve gone the other way. Started with pencil now using 100 degree fans. Like you say personal choice. Have you tried a rinse bar
Squeaky Clean Dave I have a rinse bar but not using it yet as too lazy. lol

Never had an issue yet. They are so visible they are easy to control.
Thanks for that, I will now look into them as I trust your judgement 👌
Top info as always m8👍

You should try the Xline rinsebar, better than any jet imo

Green Pro Clean Ltd why don't you like x line pal
Green Pro Clean Ltd still of the same opinion on X- line gear mate????
Wow someone is over the top touchy about xline….. very dramatic mr green pro
Hi there I'm new to wfp what's best flocked sill brush or normal bristle brush thanks Russell
Regular for all round. Flocked for first cleans and leadded
One more thing mate do you use sill brushes or just use normal brush and thanks for your reply back

Jets are from Gardiners. I prefer fans to pencil but honestly I think it's horses for courses
Pencil jets all the way... unless working on hydrophobic glass.

karlInSanDiego I'm using the Water Genie pump and flow controller from The Cleaning Warehouse in Wolverhampton
Are fanjets better for hydrophobic class.?
Fan jets all day long. Hate pencil jets!
How do you deal with hydrophobic glass?

Thanks
Fan jets everytime.....
