This bike has been absolutely amazing! I honestly have 0 complaints about the 750, I’m not interested in all of the technology and gadgets on the new bikes, in fact if Suzuki does remake the 600/750 I hope they leave it just the way it is! 😁🙌🏻
Agree! I’ve had my 2015 GSXR1000 for a year now, and I keep saying if I ever get another bike I’d probably go back to the 750. That was such a well balanced sport bike. They are overdue for a bodywork update in my opinion, But mechanically speaking it’s perfect.
Yeh, I’m with you on the Gsxr 750. I love mine, it’s the same as your white one. Great for commuting, weekend runs, and did touring on it. Even took it on track and it rocked. For me it’s the perfect sport bike.
Bought my 2017 GSXR 750 after watching your vlogs, perfect bike for me! Only change was to install Helibars to help arthritic hands(Old guy here, 65YO) and now the bike is perfect for me. Only problem I have is that I keep being asked "Ain'tcha kinda old for a bike like that?" when I take off my helmet and people see white hair.
I’ve owned many bikes over the last 30 years and no other bike in the world fits me as good as the 2011+ 750. My physical size(5’9”), my riding style, comfort, width and angle of the bars, the way my legs grip the tank, the powerband, seat height, and on and on. I’ve put about $8k of mods into mine, including full Ohlins, because I love it that much! Plenty of power with my Akropovic, flashtune, K&N filter, and totally reliable!
I’ve had 3 sport bikes and 1 muscle cruiser over the years, and after about a 12 year gap of not owning a bike, I was thinking I was going to get back into it with an m109 BOSS. But, after watching your channel and a couple reviews of the GSXR-750, I might be changing my mind. Great video man, keep it up!
I had 59k on my 05 gsxr 1000 before selling it a month ago. I replaced a water pump and a couple batteries. I was very good on the maintenance. Many upgrades and preventive maintenance along the way. It still had great compression at 190psi on each cylinder. I love this new gsxr but really miss that old reliable K5. I definitely regret selling it. Having said all that it's nice to see people put miles on these amazing made machines. I've been a loyal Suzuki customer because the bikes have been great to me. Hope these new techy versions of modern motorcycle have the same level of reliability. My gut says probably not. I love that gsxr you have. Was definitely happy for you when this popped up on your channel after the kawasaki. Excellent choice for wheelie guys. Have a safe summer
Thanks a lot man. I fully understand missing an old reliable bike, my ninja1000 was very good to me but I am fully enjoying the gsxr and have no plans on getting rid of her. Suzuki makes a great bike!
Hell yeah, this is awesome!!! I have a 2020 750, I’m at about 800 miles so far and I absolutely love it. I hope I can get 30k+++ miles on her. My wife rides a 2019 GSX-R 600 too! We decided on the gsx-r after watching your channel to be honest.

I believe I know exactly who you are talking about! I remember taking a picture with a guy for someone a few months back. I’m sure we’ll run into each other sometime, lately we’ve only been getting out up there 1-2 times a month.
I own a 2011 750 with 15,000 miles and the bike has been nothing but a dream for me. Very comfortable, extremely fast and powerful. I had thoughts about a liter bike or ZX 14 but riding my 750’for the 4 months I have had it. This bike is perfect for me. I highly recommend this bike.
Hi , I've got a Suzuki gsx r 750 wn 1992 . I bought it at 60000 miles 4 years ago , I was put off it a bit with the mileage , but when I sat on it and had a test ride I loved it , it had a lot of paper work and service records so I new the bike had been loved. Any way I bought it . I have done a lot restoration work on the bike respraying the wheels had new emulsion tubes new needles and idle valves for the carburettors . It now runs spot on. It is nearly on 68000 miles. The colour is black silver with purple wheels and now looks mint condition , engine sounds sweet with a scorpion exhaust . From United Kingdom. Take care you both and ride safe ☺️👍
That is awesome! I have a friend with 160,000 miles on his 2001 TL1000R that I test rode in a video and runs great, these bikes will last! Ride safe Ian!
That's exactly why I went with one and I haven't regretted it once! 33k on it now. I've ridden dozens of 1000's and while they're fun, it's not really something I'm willing to drop another $6-8k on. I'd rather spend that money on a 2nd or 3rd small bike lol
Man, congratulations. I Just bought Mine 2015 two weaks ago, with 7000 Miles, and the bike is incredible. Its amazing see how your bike makes you happy and I hope I can feel that too. Drive safe.
Great review, there’s a beautiful blue 750 just got to the dealers… I don’t think I can resist it. I’m only 5,8 so it will be great size wise. Thanks for the inspiration on this bike.
I have a 2007 Suzuki GSXR-750 and other than the rectifier having to be replaced to the side of the frame. I love the 750 from Suzuki. I hope that it stays in production for years to come.
Someone suggested I get the gsxr 750, I wanted the zx6r couldnt find any, so I got a 2024 gsxr 750 and I am satisfied. Very comfortable bike especially when you get use to the seating. I agree with you about going to fast on the street . 7:49

She still running strong! Some people think having high miles on a bike is bad. I’d like to see you hit 75,000 on your 750 to show it will do it. Yeah I went from a liter bike back to a 600 and I love it. I eventually want to get an S1000RR one day. They are crazy expensive for a motorcycle.
@@SALTxTHExWOUND why do people think the s1000 is expensive lol 15/16 models go for 11-12.5k private sale all day long on cycle trader and CL.. someone on Reddit picked up a 2014 bone stock with 1900 original miles for 9k. Unless you’re talking about brand spanking new they’re not expensive at all

Older rider here just getting into bikes and currently on a N400. Torn between the ZX6R and GSX-R 750. Like the tech on the ZX but the ergos of the GSX-R seem much better for my knees and back. Just kinda wish Suzuki would give it ABS and a real gas gauge.
The rawness of the GSXR is what most people LOVE about it. Rider aids made you rely on them to fix your own errors in riding, to me personally I love having no rider aid. And the gas gauge you get over, you can get about 130-150 miles per tank roughly, when the light comes on you've got safely 20 miles, I've been 28 miles on the blinking light.
@@SALTxTHExWOUND I hear ya. The lack of electronics, digital dash, traction control, wheelie control, etc is what really appeals to me on the GSXR. No apps, settings, whatever. I love analogue tachs and Kawasaki killed it on the ZX6R with the new digital dash. The new trend in digital dashes on bikes just kinda kills the vibe for me. I do feel like the ABS saved my bacon once when a car goofed and I was forced to swerve and brake and hit a slick patch of something. ABS system activated for split second keeping the front tire rolling and I swerved successfully. Really do wonder what would have happened without the ABS system. Maybe it would have been the same outcome, maybe I would have high sided when the tire caught traction again. No way of knowing but it really sold me right there. And I like the insurance discount, LOL! Thanks for the information about the gas mileage. Does the bike happen to have like a trip odometer like a car so there's at least something to reference? So like you at least know you've done 100 miles and it's time to hunt up gas? Thanks man!
Lovely bike, I'm looking at one of these or a Triumph Daytona 675 for my next bike. Not sure yet tho. Currently have a 2014 Triumph street triple, lovely bike also.

I man I seen your videos before and I have been watching your channel off and on ever since you got your 750. I just wanted ask you a question. I sold my first ever motorcycle a year ago and I was originally going to get a sport bike as my first bike. I've been having motorcycle withdrawal ever since I sold it. It was a 2009 Yamaha Vstar 1300 cruiser bike. Even though it would be a complete 360 change in style of riding do you think the suzuki 750 would be a good first sport bike to get?
Just bought my 2020 750 about a week ago got 227 miles on it and no chicken strips well there's tiny ones on the front tire I love the bike I got the white black with blue stripes
@@SALTxTHExWOUND Thanks a lot. I guess with time the rubber has gotten hard. Wasn’t a problem before. I’ll give those grips a try. They are cheap enough.
Hello,I really enjoy your videos,I live in San Diego, ca,I had a gsxr 750 and traded in for gsxr1000R and I totally regret, I miss my 750 so much. Anyway keep doing your videos, best wishes to you guys,be safe out there.
Jus curious what made u change from the sport touring segment to sports bikes? The N1K was a really nice bike as well...supposed to blend the two types of riding.
The N1K was an excellent bike, but for the type of riding I’m doing now the 750 is much more capable. I was doing a lot of touring 600+ mile days on the Ninja.
The only thing I’ve had to replace was my oil pan bc I accidentally stripped the drain bolt about 5k miles back, my fault and it only cost me about $140 and 4 hours of work.
@@SALTxTHExWOUND what did you have to replace ? Gaskets etc. I recently cracked my oil pan from over torquing the drain plug and I need to replace my oil pan
I had on 05 & 07 & couldn’t agree more as I felt the same about my 750’s, never had any issues with either bike, awesome bikes & very comfortable, stay safe!
you said you didn't like the ergonomics of the gsx1000r, but when I look at the 750 vs 1000 gsxr's they basically look the same. is it more to do with weight difference?
Man I love the gsxr 750,I have had 2 of them and still own one of them.i am thinking of getting the anniversary model "gsxr750". Because I am hearing stories of them discontinuing them soon.:).hope they are wrong. Love your vids
@@BlueRage I've been on an R1, R6 and a couple of Kawis but none of them are as comfortable as the 750. My arms are long enough so I dont have to lean over as much haha
Don't buy the cheap Chinese crap levers from eBay or Amazon! First thing I had to do to my GSXR was replace the cheap brake & clutch levers installed by the previous owner. The front brakes felt spongy and the brake light would stay on if I didn't push the lever forward after braking. Replaced them with quality levers from ASV and what a difference! IMO do your research and buy quality parts for your bike.
750 is the sweet spot on the streets. He just likes it because there perfect wheelie machines. I definitely understand the feeling. I've had several gsxr's. The only bikes I've ever owned. Ultra reliable. My current 18 gsxr 1000R is the most comfortable bike I've ever had. I need a hottie to ride along with
I'm currently riding Bandit 1250s and looking something that can take the corners better, I'm 6'3 - do you reckon that this bike is enough big for me? I could seriously use some more power, better handling and still ride in comfort and without fear of having my bike to be broken at all the times.. Basically a new daily ride..
Over the years, I owned a 2004, 2007 and 2013 GSX-R750. Hands down one of the best model lines I've ever owned. Hoping to get another one some day. Just waiting to see if they will ever update the looks and add ABS, TC and power modes like my 2020 Z900.
Couldn't agree more! Honestly imo one of the things I love is that there's no ABS, TC, and other electronic mods, it's just a raw bike! Those z900's look amazing! :)
I have a 2002 ZRX1200R and the 2020 Z900 now. The ZRX is just like the GSX-R750 in terms of being pure motorcycle with no ride-by-wire or electronic aids and I love that about both of those bikes. However, the TC on the Z900 I've come to realize is a big plus in many ways. I think it can save your butt in unexpected circumstances and the great thing about the version on the Z900 is that you can completely turn it off. Anyway, I really would love to have another GSX-R750, but want to see a new body design. It's been 10 years since the current style came out.
Had my first failure on my 2016 GSX750 with 24,000KM The bike would not start, the starter would not fire up at all. Turns out that the clutch switch had a bad connection and just need a little WD 40 squirted inside. That is as bad as it gets. Goes to show how bullet proof these bikes are from Suzuki. It's hard to find any criticism of the GSXR's online. I also have DRZ400 and they are just as solid.
You guys should cruise the roads once over to look for oil and gravel then turn around and fly down them. Also you guys should consider a yamaha fz1 i love mine. Very upright but you can still lean down and knee drag and still 150 horsepower
Have you had a valve clearance check done yet? I think the manual recommends every 14,500 mi. That seems early, I seriously doubt anything would be out of spec in that amount of time. Probably can go 50,000 miles before anything would need to be adjusted.
I put 20k on my ‘12 750 from 2013-2018 and never had a single issue with it. Another 14k on my ‘15 750 from 2018-2020, same deal. I’ve had a 2016 ZX10R (Gen 5) for about a month now and have been stranded for battery issues twice already 😑😑

It was a 2009 Yamaha Vstar 1300 cruiser bike. Even though it would be a complete 360 change in style of riding do you think the suzuki 750 would be a good first sport bike to get?
I have the 2018. Highly recommend removing the cat converter if you haven't. Sounds better, more power, lighter, more nimble.
My motorcycle (2014) hit 48000kms few weeks back as well 🙌
Hi, what’s a better bike to start on, GSXR 600 or the GSXR750?
Love my 2018 750. 10,000 miles.
Valve check? Timing chaing? Throttle bodies chceck? General Maintainance?
Just bought my 2020 750 about a week ago got 227 miles on it and no chicken strips well there's tiny ones on the front tire I love the bike I got the white black with blue stripes
Nice..should have got a 1000 tho. Big difference.
Yeah maybe if I was a drag racer
glad you like it...only problem i'm having on my L2 model is excessive vibration through the bars and seat. Have you had the same issues?
If you have stock bar grips that may be your problem, I changed to Progrip 724's and it's a world of difference
@@SALTxTHExWOUND Thanks a lot. I guess with time the rubber has gotten hard. Wasn’t a problem before. I’ll give those grips a try. They are cheap enough.
Hi Salt
Do you think is good bike for 6ft tall rider?
Thanks
Nice video!!!
For sure! I'm 5'11" and fit perfectly fine
Hello,I really enjoy your videos,I live in San Diego, ca,I had a gsxr 750 and traded in for gsxr1000R and I totally regret, I miss my 750 so much. Anyway keep doing your videos, best wishes to you guys,be safe out there.
i have a 2012 gsxr750 and its just hit 71,000kms and havent done anything but oil and air filter changes
honestly that doesn't surprise me one bit, they're very reliable!
Where about do you guys ride? We're in the upstate of SC close to NC
dude does wheelie and 2 seconds later says "ride safe" :D thats gangsta !
haha thanks for watching bro!
I am in love with my K8 Bruddah!
@@SALTxTHExWOUND thanks!
What’s parts have you’ve had to replace since reaching 30k? other then oil changes, fluids, tires, etc
The only thing I’ve had to replace was my oil pan bc I accidentally stripped the drain bolt about 5k miles back, my fault and it only cost me about $140 and 4 hours of work.
@@SALTxTHExWOUND no stator and rectifier yet?
How did you strip it? Do you torque it to spec?
@@SALTxTHExWOUND what did you have to replace ? Gaskets etc. I recently cracked my oil pan from over torquing the drain plug and I need to replace my oil pan
Bought my self a GSX650F love the bike, thought about a 600 but leaning more towards the 750Z
What kind of helmets are you guys wearing? Looking into getting a new set for me and my wife
I'm wearing the HJC RPHA 11 Pro, Heather is wearing the Icon Airmada
SALTxTHExWOUND I appreciate it!
I’m the same looking at a 750 gsxr haven’t ridden for quite a while last bike I had was a zx9-r
You can't go wrong with the 750, they are undeniably great bikes! I've got 32k on it now and it runs like a champ!
How much longer will you hold on to the bike?when you do u do decide to get a new bike will you buy another 750?
Honestly I’m not sure, I would love to hit 100k on this bike just to prove it can do it. I may end up buying a 2nd bike before long though 👍🏻
@@SALTxTHExWOUND can busa wheelie ?🤣🤣
Are you looking into the new 2021 GSX R, what do you think of it
I really like it! But mine is paid for and I think I like my colors a little more. Beautiful though 😍
@@SALTxTHExWOUND you will have a dedicated track bike as well as starting a new bike build series, just an idea 💡
I had on 05 & 07 & couldn’t agree more as I felt the same about my 750’s, never had any issues with either bike, awesome bikes & very comfortable, stay safe!
you said you didn't like the ergonomics of the gsx1000r,
but when I look at the 750 vs 1000 gsxr's they basically look the same.
is it more to do with weight difference?
Wow can’t wait to see 100k ks on your bike mate... mines only done 8000ks😂 you both stay safe❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful bikes you two have there! 👍
I have a 2008 GSX-R 750 that I’ve owned since brand new.
I’m right around 27,000 miles.
Man I love the gsxr 750,I have had 2 of them and still own one of them.i am thinking of getting the anniversary model "gsxr750".
Because I am hearing stories of them discontinuing them soon.:).hope they are wrong.
Love your vids
Man, Heather can ride 🤙
You got that right! She's a very smooth rider!
I am 6'8'' and the 750 is perfect, I do think a refresh on the style is a little overdue.
@@BlueRage I've been on an R1, R6 and a couple of Kawis but none of them are as comfortable as the 750. My arms are long enough so I dont have to lean over as much haha
@denismilchev1913 I’m 6’6 but have long legs. Did you have issues with your knees getting in the way of the handlebars or your arms?
I hardly understand spoken English, I understand it more read, could you tell me what great services you have done? have you followed the manual?
I'll never sell my 05 750. Still going strong with not one issue.
awesome to hear! mine's still as strong as the day I bought it too :)
Where did you get your Shorty levers? Heard that some of the aftermarket ones lock up.
Would this make a for a good second bike
(Been riding for a year now)
750 is the sweet spot on the streets. He just likes it because there perfect wheelie machines. I definitely understand the feeling. I've had several gsxr's. The only bikes I've ever owned. Ultra reliable. My current 18 gsxr 1000R is the most comfortable bike I've ever had. I need a hottie to ride along with
Well said!
Absolutely, My wifes brother had a gsxr750 and never complained and he's 6'4"
@@SALTxTHExWOUND Nice brah, thanks a lot. I'll have to test ride one of these. Take care and be safe.
I’m a little over 11 thousand and it’s an 2011. Still prefect condition though!
Yamaha blew it when they failed to make the R7 a mass production model. Imagine what could have been.
They are working on the Yamaha YZF-R7.
You guys should cruise the roads once over to look for oil and gravel then turn around and fly down them. Also you guys should consider a yamaha fz1 i love mine. Very upright but you can still lean down and knee drag and still 150 horsepower
Hey Salt did you ride the MT-07? Thoughts on that model?
I've ridden one years ago when they first came out but didn't get to do a video on it, I would love to though if I get the chance! :)
What were you riding before the 750?
Before this I had a 2012 Ninja 1000
And reliable no 1
my 07 has like 32 k needa ride that thing more
But without the abs what is your opinion should this bike wearing in standard for safety tnx
ABS isn't something you truly NEED on any bike imo, it's a rider aid that makes people rely on electronics vs skill
I love suzuki bikes🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿
Same! 🙌🏻
Can you make a video on your GoPro setup when riding
yeah, I've been meaning to I just haven't had the time lately. I'll see if I can get on it soon!
Have you had a valve clearance check done yet? I think the manual recommends every 14,500 mi. That seems early, I seriously doubt anything would be out of spec in that amount of time. Probably can go 50,000 miles before anything would need to be adjusted.
My mechanic mate in Perth rekons don't worry till 40 000 ks not miles.
I have the same question about valve checks.
Hello my friend..I love Suzuki ❤️ your bike is🔥
Thanks ✌️
Heather is moven ...
Why did you decide to try out Kawasaki instead of staying with the Suzuki gsxr 1000
Which year is ur bike's model ?
2015 L5
Not a day goes by that I don't deeply regret trading my gsxr-750. best bike I've ever owned. :(
I 2nd that, they are absolutely amazing machines!
💪💯🔥
Wow, Ms. Salt don't play. Don't tell anybody, but she's probably faster than me.
