This is from the album "Family Style". It was the culmination of a lifetime dream of the brothers to record something together. It wasn't ready to be released before Stevie passed🙁. It is really a fun album🎸🎶‼️. You missed a lot of snippets of the boys when they were young and out playing in the yard. Rewatch sometime. Thanks for bringing this today.👋🙌🎉🎊👏🎸🎶✌️💙

I love Jay and Amber but it just hurts my heart when they close their eyes during an iconic video and don't watch what's going on. I understand being overtaken by the music, but you're missing a chance to see past history.

Jimmie Vaughan, as a member of The Fabulous Thunderbirds, has contributed to some cool songs. Here's a list of some of their noteworthy tracks:
"Tuff Enuff" - This song is perhaps one of The Fabulous Thunderbirds' most recognizable hits, known for its catchy melody and Jimmie Vaughan's bluesy guitar work.
"Wrap It Up" - A classic rhythm and blues track with a blend of soulful vocals and bluesy guitar licks, showcasing Jimmie Vaughan's signature style.
"Why Get Up" - An upbeat and energetic song with a great groove and Jimmie Vaughan's exceptional guitar playing.
"Powerful Stuff" - A blues-rock track with a gritty edge and memorable guitar riffs by Jimmie Vaughan.
"Look at That, Look at That" - This song features Jimmie Vaughan's bluesy guitar work and harmonica, creating a lively and infectious rhythm.
"Rock This Place" - A rollicking rock and blues tune with Jimmie Vaughan's guitar skills taking center stage.
"Can't Stop Rockin'" - This collaboration with B.B. King combines the talents of two legendary guitarists and results in a captivating blues track.
"My Babe" - A cover of the classic Little Walter song, featuring Jimmie Vaughan's electrifying guitar solos.
"Love in Common" - A bluesy ballad that showcases the band's versatility and Jimmie Vaughan's emotive guitar playing.
"Too Many Ties That Bind" - A blues-rock track with a soulful edge, highlighting Jimmie Vaughan's guitar prowess.
These songs represent a mix of blues, rock, and R&B, and they demonstrate Jimmie Vaughan's exceptional guitar skills and The Fabulous Thunderbirds' ability to create a unique and captivating sound

Check out Wrap It Up that was a pretty bad hit for the Thunderbirds. If yo want to check out a really cool song from Jimmy solo. On the sound track for From Dusk To Dawn. Look up the Johnny Carson Tonight show with The Fabulous Thunderbirds. They play Tough Enough and Wrap It Up back to back without a commercial break. Jimmy V on guitar. The Thunderbirds were the original house band at Antone's in Austin, TX, a premier blues venue in the whole country. Stevie Ray played there nant times, and more recently Gary Clark Jr, as well as many top current blues guitarists, male and female.

Unfortunately Stevie passed away before the video was made so it's all stock footage of SRV. Jimmie was the older brother that inspired Stevie to play.. Check out Jimmies band The Fabulous Thunderbird's

I realize with this that I am kind of surprised that you guys haven't found Jimmy Vaughn's band The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Tuff Enuff was a big hit for them. However, first I want you to listen to John Hiatt - Have A Little Faith In Me.

Hey, Kathy, here - OMG SRV and his brother!!! Heaven!! OMG, I loved it!! Never have heard this one either. And I agree with you about this one. It is different from any other SRV songs that I know. It is sweet. And really guys? You are the two that bring a little happiness and fun on a daily basis for me. I am 68 and only recently decided to check out UA-cam about 5 months or so ago, and your channel was one of the first ones I found. I just think you guys are two of the most positive people I get to "interact" with some days. Not for any reason other than when it gets cold, I don't like the cold! LOL So, thank you for the joy you two bring to your audience. There is a reason your channel has grown, and why we keep coming back to watch. It's you two! Peace out and stay blessed!

Jimmie made some great music with his band The Fabulous Thunderbirds. You should check out "Tuff Enuff," and "Wrap it Up."

My two favorite tracks from this album are YOU'LL BE MINE and the TELEPHONE SONG. The brothers clearly enjoy playing together on this after the early years when it wasn't necessarily true. Jimmy was k kwn to have been a bit of a bully toward Stevie. But during his meteoric rise in the 8o's, and after a stint in rehab, they were able to seal the crack in their brotherhood. This music is the proof of that healing. We wish was time for more, but time ran out for Stevie. May he rest in peace.

Jimmie Lee opened the door for his little brother. Until Stevie Ray came along Jimmie was one of the most respected blues guitarists in Austin Texas, which is really saying something. He is most famous though as the front man and lead guitarists for The Fabulous thunderbirdd. Their biggest hit, and it was big, was TUFF ENUFF. Check it out!

Perhaps my favourite song from the Family Style album, is Telephone Song.
EDIT: Actually I just went to listen to the album again, as I hadn't listened to it in a few years, and remembered that Hard to Be, is also amazing. This has been quite the trip down memory lane.

If you're going to do songs from "The Vaughan Brothers" album "Family Style", you have to do "The Telephone Song". It rocks.
This video brings tears to my eyes, with the old home movie footage of Stevie and Jimmy when they were young.

Jimmy was Stevie's #1 guitar hero. To see one of Jimmy's most famous moments check out 80's classic "Tuff Enuff" with his band the Fabulous Thunderbirds. This is happy but sad - Stevie was gone when they made this video. He'd just repaired his relationship with hi brother and the music they started making and evolving, no telling where things could have gone. Instead of thinking about the sad part of this, it is better to know it can still spread joy and that is just how time and change works. Put your light out there to anyone you can - you can touch and change somebody with the simplest act or moment. Peace//

I don't know how many emails I've sent about Jimmy Vaughn and the Fabulous Thunderbirds. This will put Jimmy on the Rob Squad map.
