Yet another monumental example of stunningly redeeming a mediocre tune and, by embellishing it with exquisite arrangements and intricate orchestral interplay, elevating it to the highest artistic level it could ever attain. Into euphoric orchestral height by the artistic prowess of true producers, arrangers, orchestra conductors, concertmasters, and engineers with the understanding of music theory, we have yet again pre-eminent evidence to humanity's reaching its artistic and intellectual APEX in the 1970s - with disco leading the way! Note, in the middle-break, celli, violas, and violins in delicate dialogue and then interplaying with trumpets, trombones, tubas, and French horns, all the while with bass, guitars, pianos, harps, and percussion leading the rhythm, toward the conclusion. MONSTROUS ORCHESTRATION highlighting the verse, bridges, and refrain assembled into a masterful mix. Note the 100-piece London Symphony Orchestra, David Katz, concermaster.
It may interest you that, while David Katz was the concertmaster, we have to thank Steve Gray for the excellent production and arrangement of this track.
Not Pet's greatest moment, but then again, what do you do after all those mega-hits? Good attempt though, and in my humble opinion, much better than 10cc.
It's a great Cover! I love it!! :-)
Very very nice
Not a bad cover version. I was sent it (promtional white label) whe DJing in the clubs.
Thanks.

Very interesting. The way I see it, this is a generic - and pretty bad - disco take on one of the best produced songs in pophistory.
Mediocre tune? LOL okay.

It's a great cover, not better. Don't be like that OrchestralMoron
