In this video I show range footage and give my initial thoughts and review of the Hayes Customs RIA upgraded 1911 DS!! AND I FINALLY SHOT IT IN LANDSCAPE MODE!!
thank you brother!! i can only imagine how nice the cobra is, it looks amazing!! im a big fan of your channel and all that you do, so i really appreciate you subscribing to mine!!
This guy has the best squats when moving and shooting and the most relaxed shooting style when standing still. Now adays so call trainers are pushing new shooters to hunched forward in an uncomfortable position. This guy has a relaxed style, and everybody should take notice.
relatively inexpensive too. if you dont get the polished steel slide that saves you 350 right there. gun looks great when they do it up all black with their rose gold barrel and slide cuts
Great video. I already had done inline ports on mine from Isotac, so that excludes any upgrades from Hayes I believe. Regardless, you have a great gun! I love the whole aesthetic of it. What holster are you running? Are you using Taylor Freelance base plates? Sorry for the questions, but imitation is the most sincerest form of flattery! LOL!
i appreciate you tuning in and am definitely flattered lol always happy to answer questions and talk 2011s. so im running a light bearing blackhawk omnivore. it works with all my guns and inexpensive so thats my main holster for range trips and even uspsa matches. for iwb i run a tier 1 msp molded for tlr1 and that too fits all of my guns since i run full size lights on all of them. and i havent tried taylor freelance yet but have heard good things from a few people now. part of what hayes does is they do something to the grip/magwell that lets it accept staccato/prodigy/duramag/atlas/mbx mags. so im running mbx 24 round mags in this video. the prodigy and staccato 20 round mags i have work and fit flush as well!!
i run the blackhawk omnivore (light bearing molded for tlr1) for owb and it fits all my guns since they all have full size lights on them that are either streamlight tlr1hl or lights that are similar in size. i run a tier 1 msp holster also molded for tlr1 and it also fits all my handguns since they all have similar lights. with the blackhawk, if its an o light or like in this video, it wont click into retention like it would with a tlr1. that has pros and cons, as it obviously wont be seated as tightly in the holster but on the flipside i wont have to engage the button release to draw my gun.
I just got there cobra 🐍 I’m definitely on the Hayes train. I’m digging your setup

Need this low key
shes a bad b*tch for sure
That thing looks great! How thick is the grip compared to other 2011/1911DS?
its very comparable to others like the prodigy or MAC 9. very comfortable for me. not sure how someone with smaller hands would like it.
Shit bro that gun is sexxxxxy
@@revvaddictz agreed! She's a performer too!!
What version of this holster are you using
