This song makes me feel so absolutely fragile and vulnerable. One of my favorites from Radiohead and Caroline just knocked it out of the park. Her voice is so damn ethereal
the most beautiful human created by the universe singing possibly the most beautiful song made by humanity in possibly the most beautiful place created by humanity
Monet, Caroline polachek and radiohead - yes okay, I am ready now, take me, take me where crystals become trees and foreign plastic transmorphs into roots and the grasses live. Take me, take me - come kiss me sweet death
just woke up and the first thing i see and listen is this. chills, wet eyes. outside is raining as if were there was not tomorrow. thank you caroline, you just make my sunday worth living.
Monet had no idea that over a century later the one the only Caroline Polachek would sing in physical proximity to this painting. He would have loved Butterfly Net.
So beautiful and such a pleasant surprise. This instantly felt so soothing. I really needed this right now, it feels like the perfect timing as I am just now beginning to go through my first heart break. Caroline is my top artist and a moon shaped pool is one of my favourite albums so I love love love this.
My ex loved Radiohead. I love Caroline Polachek and I sent him some of her songs because they made me think of us, or just because I liked them. He ignored my suggestions and said she makes "white girl music", whatever that is supposed to mean. (Mind you, he is white too.) During our relationship, I often felt like he perceived my taste as inferior. He expressed admiration for so many artists in different art forms, and none of those artists was a woman or a nonbinary person. Caroline is wearing Yohji Yamamoto in this performance; on the day I met my boyfriend's mom, she told me she owns some clothes designed by "Yoshi" Yamamoto. When I corrected her on the pronunciation of his name, she gave me a weird look. The breakup was relatively recent and I got relatively hurt. This performance is making me feel so many things.
This is exactly my experience. Had no idea who she was until my friend shared she had a conversation with Kojima. That’s been about a month or so ago, and I’ve been obsessed with her ever since. Slowly pouring over her catalogue of songs and performances God I hope Kojima finds a place in DS2 for her… Her voice and style would be perfect for this type of experience!!
Your voice is so robotic and yet so thick and emotional. The clipped sound with that airy lilt is unbelievable. It captures the isolated but longing feeling to this song so much
I love You Carolina Pacheco
kkkkkkkkkkkkkk
I love you carolina paunacheka
I love u Carolina poliatowska
Polacheca
carolina palo chueco
Brilliant as always but it’s borderline criminal to have shot this in portrait mode.🙂↕️
It was such a beautiful piece I didn’t even notice the vertical video…until now. Criminal indeed
especially with the dimensions of monet's water lilies.... portrait does not do it justice
True, it was a rehearsal performance though and I think someone on set ended up recording it thats why
@@dylan6172 was it? I feel it was purposefully made to be watched on a cellphone

@@Lepidopterous. As all things day of the week related should be read, naturally. Plus it's hard not to love her for her current arc.
Yay.
It took Radiohead 23 years to finish this track.
Let that sink in!
and she ended them in 4 mins 11 secs
@@limmymy reaaaaaaal
I'd say it's Thom who kept buying times and prevented the song from getting finished, when he could've finished it around the HTTT era.
Wish they hadn’t, no tea no shade
And she adds another perfect version into the repertoire

A work of art, performing a work of art, in front of a work of art. Beautiful.
What a most pleasant surprise
Such an ethereal talent. I would love to see you work with FKA Twigs and James Blake
