I was married at Sandals Negril in 2006. While that marriage didn’t work out, I am going back to Sandals Negril 9/2021 and trying again!!! I LOVED it there and so many things have changed. We’ve even made reservations with a 2 story honeymoon suite!!! I can’t wait!

Wishing I would have started with an agent. There is so much information flying at you at one time especially planning an event like a wedding. Customer service online is easiest but they always recommend you call. I've found calling so far, the agents seem rushed and want to be off the phone if you aren't purchasing or immediately booking extras. When planning a wedding, this can prove stressful.

Do they ever do upgrades. We are staying in a basic room and our friends are in a butler room. Can we ask that our rooms be at least somewhat close together? My husband has some mobility issues and our room is being a far distance apart concerns me, thanks in advance. I enjoyed your video.

Glad you found it! The tipping policy is done for a reason, definitely. First, it is worth remembering that people are visiting Sandals from all over the world. Unlike the USA culture, tipping is an entirely foreign concept in much of the world and when it comes, it is just mostly introduced by American tourists. Sandals made the decision to raise the bar of service by allowing guests to have tips included in their vacation, meaning the service standard isn't tempted to be variable based on how much you'll tip (or not). Due to the nature of these departments, they have allowed tips for Butler and Spa teams exclusively. Sandals pays better than *most* of their competition, so the idea is that it is Sandals job to compensate the average staff member and your job to not carry a wallet around and just enjoy! :)

Butch’s Island Chophouse is supposed to be a tropical flair on the existing exquisite Butch’s chain. Kimonos is also one of the most popular in general - the show hibachi cooking. The 3 new food trucks will be open for daytime grub. I’m also excited for Tesoro, which will be Italian fine dining and the sample menus I’ve seen so far have been epic! :) ~ Addison

Hello. Why Sandals doesn’t want to spend some money on additional beach chairs ? From people reviews they need to book chairs at 5 AM because of shortage of chairs. On vacation time wake up 5 o’clock in the morning.?
Hello! Well, it sounds like there are a few overzealous, social media vigilantes out there. :) I've stayed more than 300 nights at Sandals Resorts and have never witnessed this once. I like to go for early morning sunset walks and have never seen more than a few guests out and about in the resort. Every resort has a lot of space per guest - very different to the budget resorts which cram as many people into a property as possible. I've never felt crowded in a resort - ever. Sure, there are busy seasons, but Sandals protocols are that any chairs not used by 11am or every 90 minutes thereafter should be cleared. If you see chairs that look abandoned, just mention it to a watersports team member and ask if they have done a recent towel clearing. I do this often and it is immediately fixed - sometimes they get a little busy and forget to do the clearing as often as they should. Sandals Royal Caribbean is nice! If going I'll suggest you go Club level instead of Butler if you can handle your own reservations, schedules etc cause the resort is smaller. You can also take a quick ride to the Sandals Montego Bay to experience their food and activities.
Hi Melinda, Sandals is a couples only resort, so does not allow single occupancy except in very exceptional circumstances. However, you can travel with anyone as the 2nd person - when my wife hasn't been available, I've taken along friends, my brother, father, etc on some of my trips! :)

Hey Shane! While it is true that Sandals Royal Bahamian had some remaining construction when it reopened in February, I was just there last week and did not see any obvious construction from any primary guest areas. :)
We just got married on July 21st however, we are not taking our honeymoon until February 2024 because we prefer to travel in the colder months because we are in Canada. Is it true that you cant get honeymoon treatment because its not 30 days from getting married?

Hi Chris! There are 3 tiers of service at Sandals: luxury, Club, and Butler Elite. The nicer/larger/best view suites tend to be in the upper service levels. You cannot book a room then "add" one of these services. Rather, the massive array of room choices have one of these tiers it falls under.
