I LOVE BOTH OF ROB ZOMBIE HALLOWEEN MOVIES
The grounded and psychology of Halloween 2 even spreads to Myers himself, even the mask has a soul of its own that’s connected to Michaels mind, has the mask keeps falling apart so does his mind, and the kills become more and more grotesque, where H1 you always felt he’s holding back, even letting Annie live, in H2 its game over for anyone who he even gets in his way or he’s hunting, and Annie feels the full force of just how unstoppable Michael is and bracket feels it where it’s the only film where we see consequences to many peoples choices like bracket and Loomis. Ppl had a problem with Myers unmasking, he’s roaming has a mountain man if be goofy as hell in this kind of Michael Myers if he wore the mask constantly, when he puts the mask on he becomes Michael Myers, so the mask serves a greater meaning, a greater purpose which makes that mask even more special.
If that dream sequence was real I think this movie would be rank higher by everyone

(2009) Halloween 2 does stand on its own as a very unique Halloween movie because Rob Zombie was able to make his vision for this Halloween sequel.
I also feel like this one calls back to Halloween five a lot with the barn party and the psychic connection between Michael and Laurie
While I'm still pissed at the way Michael went ham on Octavia Spencer with that knife, I must admit except for the barn sequence I have a soft spot for Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 and how he explored the trauma of his characters before it became the theme in recent horror films.
3 of my favs! The first time i watched H2, i liked it. But i wasn’t in love with it. The whole white horse scenes confused me. But after rewatches i liked it more. I like the darker side of this movie. Great stream guys 🤘🏼

Really dig this video. Thank you so much. Everybody inspired me to watch Halloween two the directors cut last night. Really enjoy the character development. The scene when Bracket discovers Annie really hit deeper, but the ending does seem to lack something that the theatrical had.

I will say this film has grown on me a little. Largely thanks to Brad Dourif and Danielle Harris. I still aren't a fam of the white horse parts, and i personally think the ending dragged on too long, just like Rob Zombies previous film (in general i loved his first Halloween, if the ending hadn't been so tediously long, almost to the level of some early FT13 films, which i have an issue with for the same reason).
Unrelated issue, as i no longer use Twitter, an idea for a video. Films you have completely changed your opinin on as you have aged. Example about 23 years ago, in my early 20s i watched Reservoir Dogs, and Kill Bill Volume One and hated them. This year thi watched them again along with the rest of Tarantino's films, Kill Bill is in my favourite 20, and Reservoir Dogs is in my top 100. I'm not saying my taste became more mature as i got older, but it changed on some things. I think it might make an interesting video to discuss your experiences with that.

Because the time difference , the stuff of Laurie towards Annie is much more aggressive and the ending we’re all lying on the ground dead gives it a finality
Where in the theater cut ( better death of Loomis) but feels so we’re making a 3rd ( which almost happend with Halloween 3D)
And that die line I think is fine imo

I love both versions of Halloween II but i think the theatrical edition is the better version of the movie
Had a great time with this one in theaters. Didn’t like the white horse thing but it didn’t subtract from the movie for me. I personally loved Michael’s look and the scenes showing him wander the earth almost lol he’s a lost soul drifting through the universe. All that being said, I have this ranked 7th in the franchise at a 7.1/10.
Rob zombies Halloween 2 was the first horror movie i saw in theaters by myself lol i loved it, its not perfect but its got some unique vibes

I'm watching Halloween 2 again tonight and I can't stop smiling at everything that has to offer
The remake is top 3 and it’s not 3
I have to be honest... first time i saw it, i hated it. Then, i started to listen Lee and his approach to the movie. Nowadays, it's my favorite halloween movie (after the original)

There was a time I really disliked Rob zombie’s Halloween 2 but since 2018 IRONICALLY sometime around august pretty much 20th- 21th (yeah I remember the date exactly 😂) I rewatched the movie 2-3 times !!!!!!!!!!! BUT this is a very tough movie because I am the only person in the world who’s mixed on it, I don’t hate it or love it I think it’s just fine. There things I like and things I really really dislike. The theatrical cut is better than director’s cut especially the ending. Unfortunately I can’t watch this movie pretending it’s not Halloween and enjoy it like I can watching hellraiser hellseeker for example, as a hellraiser movie it sucks but as a psychological horror I love that movie but I cannot do the same with Halloween 2. Because it constantly reminds me it’s trying to be a “Halloween movie” with Myers, trying to be a sequel to 2007 film,etc. unlike hellraiser 6 that barely feels hellraiser, you know what I mean??? But Halloween 2 I watch every time I binge the franchise and always complain about the same things 😂 but there’s definitely good things about it but the ONLY character I like is Michael (I hate the hood he wears 😂) the white horse is nice in the first 2 times only !!! I love the brutality and the look of the movie. It’s always a 6/10 movie for me.
