Targa tops can be a pain. Years ago I had a Honda Del Sol and treated the seals yearly just to keep them in great shape. Never had a leak. Just one more maintenance item. So worth it though!
You can eliminate it completely by throwing additional o rings on the pins (2 each) and pressing dielectric grease into the side channels of the top. It’ll hurt getting your finger down there but you’ll be able to feel the metal rail that can make contact with the top of the window sometimes. Also grease or lube on the weather stripping to keep it from drying out. It’s a pain but worth it on a nice sunset cruise or perfect summer day 🤘🏻
you need to take out the bolts holding the front clamps. get removable lock tight re-aply to bolts and torque to 13ft lbs weight for lock tight to dry no more noise
I went to Home Depot and replaced the o rings. I put an extra one on in the front pins, no more noise.

I tried that and still making those horrible noises I’m getting tired of it I guess I’ll end up getting rid of the car because of this
You can also use the dielectric grease directly on the weather striping, especially on yours because the weather striping is so dry.
I might try it. Been holding up pretty good but still not silent. I want to give it a second treatment

The front loose bolt alone was likely the cause of your issues
Tightening it helped but didn’t fix it. Took a couple of conditioner applications then it was about 90% gone.
