One of my coworkers who no longer works with me is Tohono O'odham. I never knew about that tribe until he mentioned it. I also work with a Navajo. Now that tribe I did know of.

A Tohono o’odham man declined a polite offer to smuggle drugs from someone legal in the U.S. Never bothered again after the incident. A few elders don’t feel threatened by migrants while hate border patrol keep watching their business when bored.

You only hear about “illegal immigration” which pulls on the heart strings and the other side of it may change the amount of sympathy they give for the situation. We have heard that the Rez is under extortion with the cartels, have no proof that it is true, as their land is wide open and smugglers have a straight shot through the desert to I-8, and I-10. I don’t believe the cartels have any sympathy for the natives.

A man from the tribe was asked to sell drugs by legal “cartel” member and offered a lot money but he declined after considering and nothing bad happened to him as they let him be. This is from multiple different news interviews so they post the videos.
Their are people in these tribes that are actively working with the cartels for drug & human smuggling. It’s not ok we need to protect our land and if they don’t want to help give them and their lad to Mexico??
