For me, more pedals were never enough. Since the LVX and Mercury X were released, I think both of them and a fuzz pedal might be enough. They are much more than a delay and a reverb, respectively. They are sonic machines that offer every type of sound you can imagine and more. I really don't know what could replace them in thr future. I hope this year Meris gives us Enzo's or Hedra's big brothers. Your stuff is amazing Nick. You show these units unlike anyone else. Thanks my friend! I'll be waiting for more! By the way, Strymon, you have it inside you. I guess you know what I mean. Greetings from Argentina! A big hug man! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@nickreesyt I would like to see both of them interacting. That would be amazing. There is not a single video showing any of both controlled with an expression pedal. A couple of ideas about what you can do. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
@@nickreesyt Hard to say with the endless possibilities of the pedals. Most important is to do what you enjoy. I’m hoping to (one day) have an expertise on designing sound with these. If I was really comprehensive, eventually that would look like taking one reverb structure and doing a deep dive into every category, one element at a time, and carefully look at the parameters and how they interact, analyzing how it can affect the base sound, and with additional attention to how different placements in the signal chain affect the sound. Next level is exploring how each of the modifiers can be used with those specific parameters. Then it is combining two elements and going through a similar analysis, as well as experimenting with pre-delay. And then rinse and repeat with the next reverb structure. I’m not retiring anytime soon, and probably won’t hit the lottery, so spending that amount of time isn’t realistic. The videos help me to have a sense of what can be done when I do have time and getting me to useable sounds faster-and triggering ideas I may not have stumbled across by myself. Did I mention adding into the mix experimentation with how the MercuryX can be used with the LVX? Like I said, endless possibilities . . .
Hi I actually haven’t played around much with the sequencers. I do have over 20 videos on the Merc x and LVX here on my channel though if you want to see more
@@nickreesyt thanks I’ve probably watched most of them and see that you have dug fairly deep into these so I figured I’d see if you had any content about that feature
Let me know which of the 15 were your favourite and why!!!

sonic machines…could not agree more! THANKYOU so much for your kind words my friend and yes I am very excited about what’s next too.
What more would you want to see on either the LVX or Mercury x?

@maurobelarde8527 I’ve been working on expression recently with them so I’ll do some thing with that for sure thanks my buddy appreciate you
@@nickreesyt Thank you! It is very kind of you to show us the potential of these devices in such a musical way and with such enthusiasm. ✨✨✨
11, 15, 49, 64,75. I’d find all of these very usable and would start with 11, 15 and go from there. Very nice Nick.
Haha yeh they’re all pretty good 👌
Looking forward to the series. Thanks!
Ah thanks so much my buddy! What specifically would you like to see?

@kingfishats655 always. Thanks my buddy
Haha also I think I’d need to retire just to shoot all these videos myself 😂😂👌
I’d be happy with just number 36 running through my ears all day.
What a sweet sound that would be!! Thanks for letting me know
can you please make a tutorial on how to import presets. cant seem to connect to preditor through midi
Epic
Hey man which is your favourite?
Right on brother!!!
Nr.36, I tried the mercury x in a store and there were only 1-2 presets that I didn‘t like all the rest was incredible..
Yeh it’s a real beauty that’s for sure. Do you think you’ll end up getting one? If so what would it be replacing
Great video! Do you have any content on the sequencers in this or the LVX? I would be super interested to see and hear your take on them.
