97 sounds like cats floating in space. Some great new sounds here for someone who's loved this pedal for 6 months. Beautiful compositions as always, thank you. This is def climbing the ranks to desert island pedal for me. Give me an Euna and this and I'm cool.
Hey Emily Hopkins experimental audio artist and fine fingered audio engineer Russ! Thanks for the beautiful sounds that I have never heard before! Ride ride ride!
More creativity displayed with this pedal than (I fear) many guitar players will ever use! Speaking as a guitar player, this was lovely to see. It sounds like you also mastered the (sometimes hard to understand) predelay blend and dry blend controls despite your dislike for anything but the minimal predelay times. MercuryX really is incredibly powerful...gives you effectively 2-3 prdelay times simultaneously if desired - for those that don't know.
Nightverb is really one algorithm that can do a bunch of cool and quirky stuff with interesting digital controls - this is a pedal with many different modes and sounds and is definitely more versatile, but nightverb is really good at the limited scope it has
Reverb & delay pedals are my thing too. With this one, don't look, because I did, and they're expensive. And now I have one. And you'll probably want one too. This one is worth selling one or two lesser reverb pedals for though. Maybe list a few other reverb pedals on Reverb before looking at the price.
NO FEET, but are pedals still pedals if you don't use your feet? like on your pedalharp you pedal the pedals per pedes, but on the pedal you manipulate manually, which makes them levers!
That was her nasty monkey-toed foot that comes in at 1:49. She can turn knobs with the thing - it's freaky. At least she shaved those prehensile toes for this vid.

Meris makes fantastic pedals!

this pedal sounds a treat!!
well...actually...the lady playing the harp THROUGH this pedal sounds a treat.
with material assistance from R.U
S.S.
Right up my street, have never headed to Thomann so fast. Luscious playing as ever
That reverse thing sounded soooo good
The track feels very 65daysofstatic-y, and I'm fuckin' here for it
?
@@suspiciouswatermelon7639 65daysofstatic is a band, and they're pretty dope - highly recommend.
Thanks Pedal Mommy! 🥺
recovery effects lady is true pedal mommy.
as a longtime h9 user i didnt expect i would love this pedal as much as i do.
omg, that drive sound at 5:00!
My goodness - what beautiful sounds. Especially the outtro. Gorgeous!
Behind a great harp lady, there is a great man! Russ, I'm your fan, dude. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I have the LVX and it sounds amazing but the Meris workflow and interface are a bit special 😁
You and Russ are a modern-day Captain & Tennille - discuss.
Swell into some lo res sounds. That preset is sublime.
Beautiful demo, Emily! Loved the presets you made
Wowee! that track at the end was fab. 💞
As a guitar player, every single one of your videos makes me wish I knew how to play a harp.
The drums in your track are fire! (Your harp-playing as well, of course. 😁)
really like your playing in this video, great work! Also, the low res section at 3:41 sounds like you have the cat meow pedal in the chain.
Adding to my wishlist for sure
I like how the lofi reverb goes from reverse to catverb... 4:23 shows it
Also, I don't really think Russ' hands look like nasty monkey feet🤣🙈 (that was under someone else's almost-rude comment)
Are you able to upload your presets? I own a Mercury X and I love it, I haven’t looked into preset sharing. Is it possible and can you do it?
Come to think of it, predelay seems the optimal placement for the reverse engine.
Love that track! 🤘
Wowsers!!
How would you compare it with the Erica Synths Nightverb?
Nightverb is really one algorithm that can do a bunch of cool and quirky stuff with interesting digital controls - this is a pedal with many different modes and sounds and is definitely more versatile, but nightverb is really good at the limited scope it has
Would you mind sharing your presets?
It really is somethin' spesh.
Mercury X is desert island reverb, imo
Are you willing to share your presets? They sound terrific!
👍
This channel is the sole influence for all my irresponsible purchases in 2024. I’m afraid to look up the msrp on this. Reverb pedals are my weakness…

Wise guidance. Much appreciated.
@@compucorder64 sell reverb on reverb to get more reverb :3
epic
any chance you'll share your presets?
Is there somewhere your average effects pedal addict could procure these presets? I’m asking for a friend…
you would say this is better than the big sky?
yes 100%
🎧 What planet am I on... Mercury X?! 🤪🐀

ottobit is da shit. its so addictive. i want to put it on everything. it gnarls your sound in such a pleasing way.
