Bold of you to assume they used only ADCs to make Aphelios
From my understanding this video could shake up the support meta a whole lot. Or at the very least make Aphelios a JG who can synergies with practically any champion. I'm curious to see if Aphelios Markings work with Kai'Sa or Rek'Sai for instance. UWU
He doesn't have charges on his ultimate, that's the points put into it (lvl 6, 11, 16)

Except then why doesnt it show the levels for q tho? Like i assumed charges as well since it goes out of the way to tell you that points are automatically put into it at certain levels

like let's take a second to think about this guys kit. this guy has long range harass, sustain, slows, roots, AOE, burst healing, waveclear, auto resets, and a turret... riot said they wanted to make a champion that takes a lot of skill and has a versatile kit but isnt that what they tried to do with Kai'Sai? once again they made an overtuned kit are hoping that this time it isnt as easy to play as Kai'Sai

Because of the weapon change mechanic he can easily adapt to each keystone
@@souichi7891 its cause no champ really runs it effectively usually one keystone i better to have consistently. But because of this guys different weapons making him melee and ranged things like conqueror become more effective or for another instance predator since he is low mobility. Since he cant accidentally get aftershock there isnt really a downside either.
@@bigchunk53 This champion is entirely ranged, its just that his Chakrams attack faster the closer you are to a target.

I actually think hes gonna be like ornn but in his case Riot doesnt want to edit all of these different abilites and weapons

@@murtazah1230 Kayn takes a lot of work to make a decent skin for the character(s). Which is why he got a legendary as second skin I think.
This is too quickkkk people are yet to find out that Kled Senna can hide a full team with 10k movement speed and 1 shot the enemy team :))))

it's either gonna be balanced around being mastered which means he will have horrible winrate or he gonna be ok for beginners and busted for good players. This champion reminds me of azir when he first came out.
P.S. can't wait to see if he gets as many bug fixes
This guy will be azir of adcs. A really hard learning curve and it needs at least a viable level of skill. I think he will need at least hours of traning. Saw a lot of people thinking his kit is "overloaded" but i think it's kit is more convenient but more complicated than kai sa. He just looks a bit confusing. You just change play style. I think he is basically "invoker(dota 2)" of League. He will be fun and balanced. Just watch people destroying him for few months.

ya I can't think of any other ability that places a TURRET somewhere *cries in donger*
I think Apehlios' ult is global in the sense that akali's e is global.
The range of the actual ability is local, but the after-effect on champions hit is global.
So you can hit someone who's teleporting, and then your follow up reaches them even after they tp.

The weapon order isn't RNG You can manipulate the order of them by using your W.

"Charges" Lol. Shows that high level players really pay almost no attention to the hud. Which makes sense all the bells and whistles just distract from the game.

Ok just from looking at the number of spells i can already feel that this is a champion that will have a 30% winrate BUT pro will turn him into a monster.

I'm an adc main and to be honest I'm kinda looking forward to see how this champ works, but I have to hand it to riot this new adc is gonna be the hardest to master. So it's going to be a fun challenge
I'm also an adc main, and after kaisa, I'm not ready for this. It's either gonna be broken or weak af
@@66666Ray I think even if the stats are bad, he is so convenient that he will not be weak. If his numbers are bad he may just have weapons you want to get rid of at times, I doubt with this much going for him he will be blatantly weak in any way. He'll definitely have his strengths. - Even so, Riot has said they like to release champions with the intention of them being "too strong" than "too weak". It's easier for them to cut them down, than it is to buff them and try to establish some strengths.
This guy is going to have the single highest skill cap in league. Especially with the new omnistone rune
When the physics assignment you are taking a break from, is easier to understand than the new champion.
20+ spells. Plus Mana PLUS ammo to track. Holy god this is a tough sell. I'd like to say I'll put in the time, but you could probably play ANY adc and get more value out of them, than learning Aphelios for 6 months. And if he's too strong, he'll be nerfed AND overly complicated, so you will be able to play some braindead adc and get better results lol
The best part is that once u learn him , he s already pick or ban in competitive and then he just gets hard nerfed cuz of it

This is basically riot wanting to add their own version of invoker to the game. From the video I think it’s quite different which is a nice thing

He isn't gonna be hard to deal with compared to rest of adc just that if u have an afk jg and 30 mins come and aphelios got rifle gun with canon get REKT team fault for letting him get cycles going
plus his q gonna have like a 14 sec cool down for sure at least, invoker has long cool downs
so the aphelios will have the occasional q w q (reload weapon swap) q combo which u probably will die but chances are slim for him to pull it of
I can not wait to play him and make a few videos on him. he seems good and knowing at least 3 of his 5 weapons you can plan out your strategy a bit. I imagine his range is going to be vayne range and they're augmented that way. theres a lot of "attack with offhand" so you're burning through the ammo at the same rate I think barring w swaps.

wow, I'm so excited about this and I've been reading his abilities over and over to get a better understanding with this such a unique and interesting champion that's so complex and requires so much skill, gonna learn and main him after his release! He's like a mix of Caitlyn, Sivir, Heimerdinger, Jayce, Jinx, Kayn, Jhin, Diana
the league community is shocked, because they havent tried playing invoker in dota
Ivelin Georgiev To be fair, it's look like Invoker is easier to use then Apholios. Lol, can't belive i said it! You have full control with Invoker abilities, but with Aphelios you have to track/reliant to ammo and rng, mean constantly adapt.
New on LoL: Invoker, but all the skills are random.

Essentially the way the gravity thing will root is if you had the person marked from the rifle swapped to the gravity cannon auto them from across the map and then used the Q to root them into place.
hey, Phy, near 4:25, three dots is level of ability, look at your client in game.
Something you missed, his ultimate hits, applies additional effects based on the weapon he has in main hand, but then ALSO autos each enemy hit by the ultimate using his main hand weapon. So this can create some really big combos with your weapons (and Infernum's Q I'd imagine, acts like a mini-version of his ultimate)
So with regards to his Crescendum, Lets say he hits a 5 man ultimate with Crescendum in main hand he will throw out 5 of these chakrams/boomerangs with a massive buff in damage due to the duplicates created. - It actually reads that when his chakram/boomerang returns to him it resets his auto attack.
Now the way that is worded on paper implies to me that when those 5 "temporary" chakrams/boomerangs return, provided you are in AA range, you can queue up to 5 MORE autos in quick succession as they come back to you. - Which would temporarily make you like a close range Draven that doesn't have to position to catch axes.

Crescendum is probably something like thresh/rakan range

I'd say no, because runaan's effect is one basic attack that creates bolts, basically an on hit effect that procs on hit effects. It's still considered as "one basic attack" so it should still cost one ammo.
Just put all your lvl ups into bonus armor pen and then build full lethality

You can see which weapon is coming next. He's not as rng as you think. You can store a weapon in your or off hand so that you have the right weapon for what you want when you want it

I guess the dots under ult are skill level, not a charge system. Like for every other ability in this game, dots are representationt of skill levels.
I disagree on not being able to predict which weapon you'll get when playing.
As I understood the article the weapons always rotate. If you were to never swap with your offhand you'd only cycle through the other four weapons.
Only when you switch your weapons and then that one runs out of ammo you now have put a different weapon at the end of the rotation. This way the cycle will change throughout a game, but you can still predict and work with it.
To summarize: The weapon just run out of ammo will **always** be the fourth one to reappear. Since this applies to all the weapons, every outcome is determined and therefore predictable.
If you deploy crescendum turret then w, will the turret hit with crescendum?
+phy aren't the 3 dots under his ultimate just the level i.e level 6, 11 and 16?

phy the 3 dots bellow his ult are not charges, its the levels, surprised you never noticed that but those dots are bellow every league's champion abilities and its how many points you have put into that ability, in this case, 3 points.
What happens when he switches to his off hand after casting Q? Will it still be on cooldown?

3 dots = max level of the skill like every other champ. Pic shows him at lv 18 , ult lv 3, makes sense
You got several things wrong. That dps circle weapon. Means you will attack much faster the closer you get top the enemy, there will not be multiple spinning things flying all around.
He is an anime adc so he will be op and never nerfed time to main

I don't think that the bombs are charges. It says he's level 18, so I think that's showing he is maxed on it.

If you ult with calibrum with severum off hand, you're gonna auto every marked enemy regardless or how far away the run. Auto with gravitum, Q to root, W to your off hand. Bruh....cresendum on main with infernum on off hand....so much damage. This champion!
