Screen for a Retained TLR

- The Tonic Labyrinthine Reflex (TLR) is designed to help with extension and flexion against gravity.
It helps to develop muscle tone.
It helps to integrate the visual and vestibular systems.
It makes way for the Landau and the STNR.
And so much more 🙌
.
If your child struggles with the Superman activity:
👉 Can't lift arms, legs, and head off the ground and hold against gravity
👉 Can't maintain the extension (holding arms and legs straight) with relative ease
👉 Moves around a lot in order to "stay up"
Then they might have a retained TLR - meaning the primitive reflex is stuck and might be holding them back from developing higher level movement patterns.
.
If you'd like to learn more about the TLR and other primitive reflexes, we have a FREE webinar that provides the basics:
⭐ What primitive reflexes are
⭐ Why they're important
⭐ How to spot them if they're retained
⭐ The next steps to help
Plus you'll get free downloads 🎉

When I was on the swim team everyone had to do this because it was a part of our workout.
That's great! We do it in yoga classes sometimes!
Not sure what this is however I've just tried and I'm in the clear😅
It's a primitive reflex! We explain more about it here - harkla.co/pages/register-primitive-reflex-webinar-2023
