Is very interesting to see Genki, made racing games following the Shutokou series, even before we had of what we call Tokyo Xtreme Racer outside Japan for the Sega Dreamcast, in which the ps1 were the prequels of the series all the time!
Is the game supposed to play like this? Looking at the clocks it appears to be running at double speed. On the other hand the speedo is reading around 280km/h and if you were to cut the game speed in half that would end up looking like a massive overstatement. Very strange.
Not sure but it seems like it was intended, to simulate slower real life speed This implies everything you see is sped up compared to IRL for gameplay purposes
In Scenario, max out your car performance. Then, race until the rival drive in such cars. Win the race and it will unlock. (May require you to play again after complete the Scenario mode)
Thanks for answering me, I've played so many retro games since I made this comment that I don't even remember what the game in the video was like hahaha😅@@thedawg7394
Return of the Street Racer's the Shutokou Battle R special moments. Race 1: Toyota Supra Race 2: Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 & Race 3: Honda NSX I love for the Japanese Highway Road 🛣️ Racing for everything else. And then for good luck. "Just like the Wangan Trial on highway road" 🤣✌️

Maybe it's a glitch with the emulator?

Can anyone tell me how to unlock the extra cars? For example the pink gtr in racing style or the blue Z?
