He has been with me for 16 years and cancer made him weak and its so hard to le him go. All our memories he gave me which I never had with my real family, he gave them all. So thankful to have met him in y life and its also the most painful goodbye. Hoping to meet him again and that he comes back to me. Be happy my sweet angel

There's a part of me that wonders if dogs really can reincarnate. My mom had Shelty/Shepherd mix, Banjo. She was something else. Her nickname was B**chy because it fit her personality perfectly. She had this crazy love/hate relationship with my sister. She passed around 16 years ago. I now have a GSD/Husky mix, and she acts just like Banjo did. One of Banjos' favorite things was sitting in the window sill, like a cat, and people watch. It is also one of my dogs' favorite things. I'd catch her on the windowsill watching the kids play until her butt got too big for the windowsill. She even has the exact same relationship with my sister that Banjo and my sister had 😂😂. She'll be fussing and showing all her teeth to my sister, then give her a kiss through bared teeth. My dog initiates it 😂😂😂! I'm half convinced she's Banjo reincarnated.

it is and the first book and movie were different from each other the second novel dog's journey had a lot of differences in the movie. they wanted Ethan around longer probably to well help be for CJ. i cried more reading the book it was good but bit dreary all way through. i love the ending of a dog's journey. it's one of those happy tears endings. bittersweet. it was a beautiful ending. i think the films were made certain way to still remain fam friendly. watching marley and me was still hard for me these films would have me ugly cry but i love how ending of this movie goes to what the start of movie was.
