14:59 When he kisses Bob and sobs his name I felt that so viscerally. I was scared that after James published the book and became stable that Bob was going to leave, but Im so happy he stayed. Adopting a cat or a dog from a shelter is a wonderful thing to do. But having a feral cat or dog adopt you is one of the greatest honors a person can receive.

I'm not even siding with James about the food thing because he is the main character, but because that is simply rude customer service. As someone who has witnessed a homeless person do irresponsible shit with the money they were given, it is a miracle that James is responsible enough to use the little money he has for food or water instead of drugs like a lot of homeless people do. And it was just terrible customer service to treat someone like that because they were short some change or because they are homeless.

I agree; the money lost because of the wasted food was certainly more than the money lost for giving the food away for less than the charged price. And usually a tiny bit of kindness goes a long way. Plus KARMA. I'm not a bible-thumper but the bible does have some good ideas: "treat others the way you'd have them treat you." A guy who acts like a jerk to others deserves for others to treat him like the jerk he is.

my cat has saved me from going over the edge so many times, now i'm finally at a place where i have hope for the future, it's been at least 7 years since i've felt hope. things aren't great but i'm making small steps every day. i owe her my life, she's my everything. never thought i'd be as lucky to have such a tight bond with anything or anyone as i've always been a loner, but she's truly a ray of light in the darkness that had consumed my life. it's like she knew i was thinking of her, she just trotted into my room and is sitting with me as i type. beautiful story, without even being told it was a true story i already thought it was, it was just all too real, his struggles were like a reflection of mine. i hope everyone can experience what he and i have with our cats, it's something i think everyone deserves.

I have 6 cats, all either rescues or the kids of a former feral cat that adopted me and my big dog lol (she got out and is pregnant again lol but she is a good mom and I always find good homes for them or end up keeping them. I am a former teacher but lost my career because I am also Wiccan and 2 principals for out and I was fired and blackballed for being a '\Satanist'- welcome to North Carolina lol. So now one of my handicapped sons and I live in a run down house, with 2 dogs and 6 cats, trying to survive lol (anyone wanna buy 1 of my 3 college degrees? lol). I have always avoided this movie because it is too close to home for me. The only difference is I never did drugs). Btw 2 of my cats are even almost identical twins- Thing One and Thing Two. They are B&W, long-haired, One has a white nose, Two has a white chin. But that's pretty much the only difference. lol Two is sitting on my chest watching me type lol

I feed a colony that has taken up residence in my garage and under my porches. I'm trying to get them non-skittish enough to fix and release them. The kittens born from them tend to be scooped up by local kids and kept as pets. I recognize them when I go to a no-kill shelter and realize the parents don't let those young kitten lovers keep them. The skittish kittens that stay away from people become skittish cats that do so and keep breeding. The no-kill shelter has been promising to help me fix them all for years now. I don't want to remove them from the homes they acclimated to, I just want them to stop growing the colony. Oh, and from what I know, the colony are not really feral. They are skittish "outdoor" pet cats of some irresponsible neighbors. They park on and party on my property until their humans let them inside.

Same thing happened when a severely matted dog with dreads dragging on the floor approached me behind a dumpster when I was trying to get high. I took him cleaned him up only to find a beautiful mini snauzer underneath all those mats. He instantly became my bestfriend and helped me through the most difficult nights of my life. One day i left him with my boyfriend and he got out of his leash looking for me and i lost him for a month... I pleaded and prayed to god i would get clean if I ever got him back.... A month later i found him and cried like a baby.... But I kept on my ways.. Untill a comple months later my mom said shes taking me to the nethadone clinic on Tuesday... Well monday night I rode my bike to a hotel and when i came back the dog had ran away looking for me... Again...
And i knew that moment that it was to ensure I would get clean... I started going to the clinic and would pray for my dog... A month later... My friend called me.. He was at that same hotel where i had gone the day he ran away.. Its almost as if he followed my scent there or something....
I knew then that I had to stay clean and here i am 3 years later now with my daughter and my dog and boyfriend all at my side.

Cat's are little angel's send by god and when they choose you it's a blessing. Found mine outside a barbershop went to pet it and she jumped on my neck which melted my heart , she's now almost 5 and queen of the house.

Its amaing what people can acomplish when their fighting for more than themselves. Drug addicts especially have low self esteem and think of themselves as worthless, so what's the point of fighting for themselves? But if they have something like a cat or dog that they need to provide for, its still hard, but they have more motivation to fight. I have extreme bouts of depression where I start to get up to do things like eat, and my mind tells me "why bother?". But my cat needs food everyday (I feed her twice a day now) and I never miss that. And if I'm already up getting her food, I might as well wander into the kitchen every other day for food or water. Eventually, I can remind myself that "if something happens to me, then who'll take care of my girl?". Its probably not the healthiest way to be, but I'm still alive.

As an ex server it is absolutly mindboggling how people can be so unkind to homeless people/drug addicts, EVERY place i worked at would have served him ofcourse. Maybe outside, but no one human would trash the food instead of giving it to him i feel like. Scary to know what kind of people we share this world with.

11:06 one quick research later and found out a Level 4 vegans are incredibly committed to veganism, and follow a strict dietary regime. A level 4 vegan's diet is likely to contain more fruits, vegetables and nuts. Level 4 vegans will often only eat out at vegan restaurants, or if that is not an available option they will only choose a vegan option.

This was a very great recap but I would just like to share my recommendations,
One main thing I noticed here is the heavy amount of text in the video ; Displaying text for words like "anxious" or "lazy" etc. seems useless to me and the second thing is the length of the video, some parts of the movie was kind of unnecessary so you could've skipped that in the vid,
overall this was an excellent video and I liked it a lot!
    Keep uploading more
    Cheers

I definitely agree that people deserve second chances , commenting this and coming from a homeless person as myself . This film, is a very touching and very beautiful as well. This film is a great message to the world , for explaining the daily life of a homeless person. And people should have mercy and help any individuals , especially when they are a family member and they're families are nearby that can help them change their life around , until they get back on their feet. That's what the family supposed to do no matter what and no matter what age the homeless sibling individual is. To sum it up , we all need help at some point in our lives. No one in this world is perfect. There's no such thing of a perfect human being.

The public in general needs to be more flexible understanding that a person only needs to use a drug few times to become addicted . Some are too fast to judge and very slow to give a helping hand. Humans don't know that by helping the needy they are making the World a better place if they can help one person at a time.
