I did this and it worked! Just one screw got destroyed by my bad screwdriver but I glued it back on and now it's like new. Thank you!

I tried this method and keeps getting a flashing red/blue light= pinkish have I done something wrong when putting it back together

it could be a fan error, but you should see. take it apart and check if all links are inserted. I had no problems, it worked and still works.
