This song is so much fun on saxophone. If you played any saxophone on this piece, you are so lucky. I love Glenn Millers music. I want to so play this in my band.
We played this song in orchestra yesterday and it was so fun for ne because i play the saxophone
I actually got to play In The Mood twice over that past year. I love that song so much. A lot of times, I just randomly play the beginning before band starts. XD

I don't know. That seems a little fast. I think it should be in between the normal and 1.25x zone.
1.25 times speed is about what my band played the first song at.

Played first trumpet my third year of playing, embarrased myself in front of 300+ people as I had completely bombed it. Am now a professional. Feels good man

it does the last lick is the sax line from in the mood and the last chord is the same concert chord it ends on

Well this must be a bari players dream, no more Basslines for them, but for bassoon however, for concert band it isn’t well suited for basslines

That pisses me off😭 Paul or whatever gave the damn Saxes the actual main part that the Trombones have, cmon bruh give us SOMETHING.
Sometimes i’m super grateful for that😂 My teacher makes everyone with solo stand up and like dance while playing. The trombone solo does sound so nice though

It's a shame that the arrangement had to have flutes in it, great otherwise
Flutes can be a great asset to a jazz group. Sim Flora is a great jazz trombonist/flautist. Wonderful skills he has. Any sax player wanting to join a professional touring jazz group has to know how to play multiple saxes, clarinets, and flutes.
