Sean o laughlin (sorry for bad spelling) came to my school. he made a song just for us. now we're playing this. SICK!! in crazy train I said the I I I part. I play trumpet and love this peice
Playing the Trooper is my personal favorite parts of this song plus it's a whole lot of fun to play though I love playing all of Metal! the whole song is just really well put together
In just over an hour is our middle school festival where I will play drum set on this piece! I’m so excited for it as this is my favorite piece of band music and I’m playing it live
Phinian Gaming That's true. Out of all of the instruments in a band, trumpet is probably the easiest to play considering we only have three valves and don't need *as much* air as other instuments
M3RK CHAOS in my band class we had the choice between this song and a song called more cowbell so i made the comment that this song needs more cowbell. this comment made my day
I think we need a version for Choir, Band, & Strings. I played the Electric Bass part with a Pick & the director said "I see why you're using a Pick, makes it easier to lock in" I also said "Yeah, it's also handy cause once you get to basses with 5 or more strings, you might find it easier to play with a pick".
The fact that my friends all hate this song except me because,I actually enjoy playing French horn which I don’t get, when my bestie also plays French horn and my friend plays the trombone. This is amazing otherwise!❤❤
It depends on how long the have played their instruments and how long they've been practicing this, not age. I am in my third year of band and we've been practicing for about three months; we are doing just fine on this. If a third grade band started playing and understanding in first grade, and they've been practicing for three months, that band would probably be doing fine on every part with a little bit of stumbling on "The Trooper."

I am SO much more likely to buy the pieces that are on UA-cam like this, allowing me to hear and see the score. Thank you!

Im playing this for my fall concert and it’s by far one of the most fun pieces ive played (I play French Horn in a Junior High Honor band
Do u go to Adams junior’s high Mrs blose is band director
@@yeat850 nope
@@yeat850 are you playing the same thing?
Best piece of music I've seen in my life, especially the trooper, who woulda thought that someone would actually play that?
+S. Sanchez Yeah! I agree. But the trumpet part at 2:49 is harder than it looks XD My favourite part of the song to play is Crazy Train
Clarinets part is harder on the trooper
I'd say flute is harder. You have no room for a breath, and the flute requires a lot of air.

+Kitty Kat Tell that to our trumpet players in band.
9.9/10 needs more cowbell

Played this in a concert last night in a wind ensemble- great arrangement
Wish I could play this in my band. I’d do the drum set part any day, being the percussion senior.

Such a gorgeous piece! I truly love it ❤❤❤

Having played chimes for this song, I guess I was kinda important in iron man, before having to stand there and wait through three other songs.
The fact that my friends all hate this song except me because,I actually enjoy playing French horn which I don’t get, when my bestie also plays French horn and my friend plays the trombone. This is amazing otherwise!❤❤

3:40
Anyone here playing trombone?
Who else thought it said "Sean McLaughlin" (Jacksepticeye)? Don't lie.
it says this is for third graders. please, riddle me this, HOW THE HELL ARE THIRD GRADERS SUPPOSED TO PLAY THIS?!?
It depends on how long the have played their instruments and how long they've been practicing this, not age. If a third grade band started playing and understanding in first grade, and they've been practicing for three months, that band would probably be doing fine on every part with a little bit of stumbling on "The Trooper."
Grade 3 might also mean third year of playing the instrument.
+W.F. Bentley
Grade 3 means B300 music if I remember correctly. it's a way to grade music difficulty, not school grade.
They must be the most skilled third graders in the world!
It's graded on difficulty, not age group, but these kids gotta be some badass kids to be playing this in 3rd grade 😂
l i
My band class voted moana over this... I hate my class so much.
