I honestly haven't even seen the previous season's cinematics before. (I've followed League since 2012, too.) I saw 2023's and thought, "eh, this is fine." Didn't really excite me or anything, but it's not like I care about a trailer that I never pay attention to. But got me wondering what the past years were look, which is why I'm here. Holy balls, this one was EPIC! So I fully understand the complaints.
It's one of those things where they don't even NEED to do trailers for each new year, but because they set the precedent and expectation, they're now stuck having to live up to that.

It felt somehow like this. In the Cinematic where he fought side by side with Zyra, Draven, Nautilus and Kata you can see that. Darius and Draven pushed their mates away and never tried to support each other.

This animation was so good, the Sentinel's of Light event was a travesty.
My complaint about the animation is that the fighting movements look awkward, compared to the other cinematics.
Characters not acting how they were originally portrayed, random placements, and a lot of questionable choices on the sentinel's behalf. I could list a few better options regarding sentinels come to think of it. Oh, one pointless extra character.

I'm 100% new to the League of Legends world, and wanted to know where I should start. Are there more "movies or series" I could binge before taking in Arcane? I am researching but I don't know what is the gaming trailers from the movies/series. Thanks in advance!

@@thickuums7651 So, basically, the main thing you need for Runeterra lore is, honestly Champion bios and everything on the site, if you wanna read those, go ahead, you don't need to, Arcane is focusing on a very small batch of characters and one region that doesn't have many cinematics on it already, so far most of these cinematics aren't canon, apart from the Ruination ones, which should not be involved with the Netflix show, so you're basically all set, the most you could do is read up on some character bios that are from Zaun/Piltover, since thats the region that the show is focusing on, namely being: Jinx, Vi, Jayce, Ekko and Caitlyn, Ekko may or may not be apart of the Netflix series, but those are the big characters of Zaun/Piltover that as far as I know are showing up in the show.

I dont think it will work. Ruination not only destroyed and remade Blessed Isle, but also create new magic that make demons, dragons, and other creatures alert. Such big change is epic. And need similar epicness to contest it.

Yeah, it would have been cooler if they made it expand for more than one season. You know, expand the lore take time with the content. Make previous plot points overlap, I think ending it now was just a bad move. The season is nowhere near fro m finishing and they've ended Veigo's tyranny

@@hizamtabao2377 that didn't really didn't stop them from expanding on other champions' lore and succeed with flying colors: they hit the jackpot with Spirit Blossom last year and released Yone, indirectly forwarding Yasuo's lore hinting to the Ruined King game, leaving us wanting more. This year's blunder was entirely on the writing team

@@networkplayer01 I am aware. I said "movie". The animated series is about Caitlin and Jinx as kids and I dont believe its the same art style and graphics as these cinematics.
There are so many champions, as long as they don't do it like that Detective Pikachu movie where the writers waste half the time trying to shove in as many popular characters as they can into the movie whether it makes sense or not.
