Thank you for your efford editing these video's. What a race!! As a Kimi fan this season was so exciting! Watching this race again, i now see it is a McLaren team mistake as wel not to pit him earlier.
Kimi really came "out of the bushes" and stole the title. Well deserved though as he deserved to be at least 3 times WDC. In his McLaren days he was one of the fastest drivers EVER in F1.
Threw it away because they wanted hamilton to win so badly 😂😂😂 quite ironic because lewis now spends his days talking about oppression 😂 that he dosent experience
Ron Dennis and McLaren got what they deserved favoring Hamilton. What happened in Hungary was a disgrace. Hamilton doesn’t listen to team orders and then gets normal payback. We all would have done what Alonso did in the same situation. But Ron Dennis doing everything in his power to get Alonso penalized (his own driver) proved everything that needed to be proved
In 2008 he made some mistakes like Canada 2008 and wasn’t allways on the pace. Still in 2008 he had some great drives & strong performances when he was on it.
He had a weaker team mate in 08. I say that as a Lewis fan. It's just an advantage for a driver to have a solid team mate that doesn't quite have the pace to challenge them. Most top drivers have had a mix of both highly competitive team mates and essentially wingmen.
@@Tezz-n4y True but Massa in that Ferrari was a serious challenge, and probably the quicker car in the dry. The fact there were several wet races in 2008 and Ferrari (and Massa) couldn't handle those conditions meant Hamilton got quite lucky. Luck he probably deserved after 2007.
Hamilton's tyres were absolutely finished the team should of brought him in earlier and he should of entered the Pit Lane at a slower speed more cautious.
Oh please....Kimi still needed to win both of those races, else he would have never won the championship. And how come you tinfoil ppl never take into account Alonso since he was in championship fight too
Don't understand why they just didn't bring him in earlier! They told him to stay out your doing fine. But he said the Tyres are finished have to come in.
Hamilton drove better in 2010 than he did in 2008 when he won the Championship. He deserved to win too he Championship in 2010 just Vettel and Red Bull to strong. You could say Alonso deserved to win 2010 too.
As soon as lewis lost the lead he should have boxed but no the team keep him out there for an extra 3 laps hoping he would bin it . Just never made sense
Issue was what tyre you they put on. The dry tyres were not the right tyre to be on when Kimi went past. Everyone on dries on that point were lapping significantly slower than those on worn inters so Lewis would have lost out with putting dries on too soon and be fat with fuel. And if you put fresh inter, he’d have to stop again for dries a few laps later when the conditions were fine for dries. McLaren were trying to be optimal with the strategy
Wait... Something is very strange here, that Ferrari had the Marlboro logo printed on the car, how this is possible??? The ads was already banned in 07???
Hamilton was driving brilliantly in 2010 it’s a shame he didn’t win the championship he deserved too and hardly made mistakes. He drove better in 2010 than 2008 still drove well in 2008.

Still unbelievable from McLaren and Lewis after Kimi past him he was 17sec in front of Fernando should have pitted there and come out in a p3 and being only 10sec or something behind Fernando and with a massive Tyre advantage and basically would have won the gp he would have undercut Kimi by multiple seconds and then later on pitted for dry tyres unbelievable mistake… and unbelievable mistake from a driver that has the call on tyres in these conditions
The issue was what tyre to put on Hamilton’s car. A fresh inter would mean Lewis would have to pit again a few laps later and would lose track position . Or dries which weren’t the best tyre when Kimi passed Lewis so he’d have lost a significant amount of time from that as well. Massa was not quick he put on dries. Lewis overdid it on his tyre set which caused the situation

Yes Great Drive by Vettel and Jenson Button.

Alexander Wurz last F1 race

The only Pit Lane that had a Gravel Trap.
Pastor Maldonado crashed there in 2014 during Practice

He never had a chance against the great Kimi Raikkonen!
How hard is it to drive in a pitlane?
Not easy like on worn tyres
Its crazy that Lewis was a rookie here and was leading the championship with 2 races to go.
Yes because mclarenn doctored the championship 😂
Leaving the tyre on until the carcas was so dodgy. Ron clearly couldn't win the championship that year. Same as the 'gearbox issue' in Brazil.

Which was quicker in 2010 Ferrari or McLaren? Or about the same on pace?
Probably McLaren was slightly faster, but Massa was a big outlier.
