I see why so many love Billy, if he is 25 now,,,,,, he must have been in his middle teens when he performed that song. He is so mature musically in the video like he was performing before his teen years. Taught my youngest brother to play when he was maybe 10. (OK honestly I taught him 3 cords) by the age of 13 he was performing in bars and grew up early in the music business. Whenever people hear him play I tell them I taught him how to play. They reply, "Wow you must be really good!" I just walk away before they find out that I was never that good.
I never thought I'd be into into this type of music, but man the guy has a fire in him that I can feel to my core. Just went to my first billy strings show (and first bluegrass show ever) this week in Minneapolis and I'm now a fan for life! Amazing show!
