What a great machine thanks for sharing with us.
I bought my 12-22 about 3yrs ago now. I absolutely love it! It is very well made and very easy to operate. Anytime I called them when it was being built with questions regarding an option, they were honest about if I actually needed it or not. They never tried to sell me something I didn't actually need. Their customer service is amazing. It truly is the last wood splitter that you'll ever need!
I love my 9-16, it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. I found mine used about 3 years ago, it's allowed me to make more firewood for myself, as well as make enough to sell a little bit to make up for what I paid for it.
Great machine, amazing team building these awesome splitters, and hands down the best customer support I've ever dealt with whenever I have had questions. 🧡💙
These machines are passed down from generation to generation!!!!!!!!!!!! Built like tanks!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Andrew is the nicest guy I have ever met!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have met Mr. Andrew several times, and Yes he is a good Man to know, I like that he shares all he knows, or at least I think he does, and he listens to what folks say good and bad about splitters, even though I would be hard pressed to be able to think ''bad'' of an Eastonmade.
@@benscoles5085 Amen!
I'm looking at a wood splitter but it'll be a couple years before I can buy one because of limited funds. But I'm wondering if it will last and make money and be worth the 6k extra cost. I know a lot of splitters being used commercially will be worn out in 5 years or less. I'm wondering if these would last long enough to justify a price jump. Speed and efficiency is not the question, I know eadtonmade or Wolfe ridge is more efficient than a box store splitter but the price jump is the thing.
@@joshuabecker8933 My Good Brother, I've sold firewood on and off most of my life, but I'm an aircraft mechanic for Delta, so I don't make a living selling wood. Just make sure you have plenty of customers lined up before pulling the trigger if you are doing this for a living. As far as one of these lasting forever, if you can afford it, buy the 24D which has a diesel motor. It doesn't get any better than that! 😃 Write anytime Joshua. God's Blessings to you Sir!
@@fxpestoperator5527being only seventeen and having started firewood last winter, I only have a couple customers but I will grow soon and am constantly cutting firewood. If there's at least 2 hours available I'm cutting wood, hauling scrap, or fixing lawnmowers to sell.
That’s a nice machine! We have loved our EastonMade 9-16 over the past 4 years, it has been trouble free and an absolute pleasure to run and has taken care of our firewood needs with ease, but now it’s time to step on up, can’t wait to pick up our new 12-22, see you in Richmond!
HI Andrew,
Great splitters.
Instead of the log lift you need an optional wood round bin with a conveyor in the bottom to supply the operator.
Cut your rounds above the bin and let them fall into the bin.
When you need another round just advance the conveyor and transfer it into the splitter.
The bin and conveyor would work like a manure spreader.
.
Impressive welds on the pusher. Beads of Beauty.
Wish these things were around when I was a young man
Hello from Virginia I’ve received my 12-22 in the spring of 2022 this machine has saved me weeks and weeks of splitting, thanks for engineering a great machine Andrew I hope to see y’all in Richmond 👍👍
She's a beauty Andrew!
love my 12-22 it is a lifetime unit that has and continues to preform Flawlessly one if if not The best investment I ever made
Love that machine. Perfect if combined with a little elevator. Great job.
Hi Andrew, I've had my 12-22 for three years now. Seldom have I ever been so happy with a piece of equipment. Thank you for creating these excellent machines! Shalom/gw
Thanks george. Appreciate the support
I have a 12-22 and absolutely love it. Great to see you going back to some of the smaller splitters and giving them some video time. The 9-16 looks like a great machine as well. Enjoy seeing the updates on the smaller machines.
Nice splitter Andrew! That was one of the first machines that caught my eye. Seen it on Outdoors with Andy when he got one! I guess he got out of firewood now so you’re right. You don’t see many of them. Thanks for the vid👍🏻👍🏻
Maybe TOA needs one???
@@KNLFirewood Someday Mike! Baby steps…
I ordered mine this morning to pick up in Booneville in August. The 9-16 should be more than enough for me
Great machine! I’m happy with my 5-11 as well. Working solo, the machine is quicker than one person. The value is tremendous.
That 916 is a beauty!
Thanks!
hi there nice splitter good show , best to all john
With gas prices going up that single cylinder engine might show ya a little kindness while still getting a ton of wood done. I think the 9-16 has a lot to offer, especially if you have a source for decent log.
I hope you can fill a couple orders in Indiana for HFH!!
I'll see you at Joe's. 👍
Im really looking forward to it. Should be a great day!
I plan to be there as well. See you then
Do you have a video somewhere on suggestions for what people should axtually get for their situations? Im honestly compeltely overwhelmed with so many options! Ive watched probably a few dozen videos of eastonmade, other brands, all models etc. They are all incredible machines. The videos are great. Right when i think ive got it narrowed down i watch another video and i am comletely lost again!
Honestly the best thing to do is give us a call. Gerry would be more than happy to stear you in the right direction 613-812-3213
Are you into selling just parts so a guy could build his own or do you prefer selling complete units?
You may have to rename the machine since technically it isn’t a 9-16 anymore is it? With the 14hp motor it must be a bit under pumped or does it come with the 22 gpm pump now?
The best!
Hope to bump into you at Joes, I plan to be there also.
Should be a good day at it doug. Looking forward to it
916 is a good Machine if you doing Production on a Low Budget,
will this unit run the box wedge??
Nice one. 👍🏻👋
How much price
Was wondering the other day when I was at Stonemaker, I could hear you trying out a wood processor across the road at Eastonmade. What do you do with all the firewood? I assume you feed it back to your suppliers, but not sure.
Give it to the guys at the shop
@@EastonmadeWoodSplitters Wow. That's better than a Christmas bonus.
@@EastonmadeWoodSplittersnice perk! Wish I could make it to Joe’s. Limited to being a fan these days, but would enjoy meet the guys that represent this field. Have worked a field where you avoided hand shakes and counted your fingers after you couldn’t avoid them.
I see you guys updated the website I saw the 22-28 has a faster 6 second cycle time listed now does it have a different pump or hydraulic set up now?
And does an attached conveyor slow down cycle time on a 22-28 specifically? Thanks in advance.
The conveyor doesnt slow it down at all we updated some on the valving on the cylinders and sped the return up a bit
Awesome you guys are always improving! Thanks for the response!!
How do we get one of these in the uk?

Nice demo of the 9-16 👍
@@lyleharkness-rv5vf thanks!
I put my 500 dollars down on the new axis
Thats awesome. You wont be dissapointed in that machine
I like it,If I burned wood I would buy one. Could that be fitted with a 6 way wedge?
