Amen Sister, you hit the nail on the head. This music is for hearing, different people find their own meaning through their own IMAGINATION. There is so much over- analyzing of these songs and finding "the meaning' which robs one of simple enjoyment. Wow... what a beautiful song. You know, my dear... when I listen to a song for the first time, no matter what band, or singer it is, I always pay attention to the music first... not to the text. I'm listening to the melodic lines, the harmonies, key changes, modulations... and THEN to the instrumentation and the sound. If there is something catchy that stays in my mind, or that touches me, then this is already a good argument to say that I love a song, no matter what the lyrics are about. Of course there are songs, where the lyrics are obviously as important as the music, or even more important. But here in this song, I see so many beautiful things in the music already, that I honestly don't need to care about the lyrics at all... I could just enjoy this song... without analyzing anything... just like you, my dear. Let's keep on enjoying music together... eitherTHIS way, or another, if necessary. Hugs and kisses : Gerry

The Beatles love songs are beautiful. I am interested to see how you go listening to a few of the more rock and roll or the psychedelic era. Try 'I am the Walrus', 'Back in the USSR' and 'Helter Skelter'. Just for something different. People who grew up and love the Beatles music truly love all their songs - even 'Revolution 9'.
