I always go over the gutters on conservatories too. Even on regular cleans as it keeps it looking pukka from the roof level down.. It’s the little things like that the customer notices…
The company I used to work for never taught me this but when I went self employed I started going round twice with reach and wash first cleans. Gives a much better clean and is far more professional. Nice to see I'm not the only one! Great video.
If the windows are really dirty, we use a backpack with the likes of ubik diluted down, give it a quick spray, then clean once with the hot waters system, no spotting etc, glass gleaming.
Do you charge for a first time clean then for maintenance cleans or just charge the same for first time clean, only asking as I'm building up my round and find if I ask for a first time clean they don't seem interested.
Can I take your new customer on if the windows are dirty I charge for the first clean and that can be £25 to £45 to €85 depending how big the house is and how dirty they are
I've been cleaning new cleans twice for the last 9tears, I don't know any other wondow cleaner who does it twice. I'm all about quality and that first clean done properly gives you a good reputation and makes life so much easier going forward. Nice job
I go over the glass again straight after the initial clean, I don't go away and return. It doesn't take long and sometimes you do find dirt from frames that has gone on to the glass and I can deal with it. this is so much better than having to deal with a customer complaint later and having to return

What dilution rate do you use please mate
yes we have the hot water. Can use ubik if they are desperate but we try no to as then it can be a bugger to get off sometimes

I do charge extra for the first clean it’s roughly about 50% an extra £10 something like that
