Bo Jackson is one of the greatest athletes to ever walk the Earth, not just as a football/baseball player either. This cat was/is good at every single thing he does whether it's sports related or not. As a football player, he had the strength to run over the biggest linebackers in the game and he ran the fastest hand-timed 40-yard dash in NFL combine history at 4.12 seconds. As a baseball player, his very first hit in the majors was a home run. I feel lucky to have grown up in the 80's.
I always knew it would be tough to tackle Bo. So the first 10 broken tackles were expected. It was the 14th, and 15th broken tackles that really broke your spirit.

Years ago I posted this on a forum I visit, and one person got mad because it reminded him of the times he played Tecmo Bowl and his brother doing this exact same thing to him all the time.
That was awesome. Me, my brother, and 2 of our friends used to play a whole season playoffs and all over Friday and Saturday when we were kids. Basically just pulled an all nighter Friday and then finished the season late Saturday.
Me & a couple friends would do the same shit. We would do shit like all use teams like the Bucs or the Pats & still finish the season with the top ranked offenses & defenses, Steve Grogan as top QB with 5000 yds. Dumb shit like that. But goddam was it fun. Those were the days, man. Playing football out in the mud & snow all day every weekend, Tecmo Bowl all night. Life was awesome. lol

I always had older cousins that would tell me back in the early 90s that if you run the ball with Bo Jackson, the other team can't stop him. I didn't believe them until I started playing this game in 1992 when I was 6. Of course, my reflexes were not up to par so I always got tackled. But I enjoyed watching my cousins do this same kind of stuff on Tecmo. We were all raider fans then (still now) so of course we were on the Bo Bandwagon.

This is the QB's Blindside, LT would usually blitz on passing plays, beat the Left Tackle, and sack the QB. Or chase the RB from behind running the right side. They never ran to LTs side those early years, even if he was blocked he held his ground, there's no hole. Those 80's Giants had a devastating front 7. The other LBs were pro bowlers, and in the case of Harry Carson, a Hall of Famer. The Front 3 linemen were also bad ass, Pro Bowlers Leonard Marshall, Erik Howard, Jim Burt for a while, and George Martin.
