I have been coloring my hair dark brown with Henna and Indigo 50/50 mix for 15 years now. I'm covering my grey hairs. I pre mix the henna with the Indigo and apply it all at once. I leave it on for 2 hours and my hair looks great! Healthy, shiny and multidimensional!
Now THAT'S the way I want to use it!! Please tell me you don't use individual sandwich bags to wrap each strand??
@@traceylennon1204 🤣😭😭😭
Henna head for life!!! Oddly enough, I love the smell of henna. Henna is my boo thang!!!
Oooh a Ayurvedic regimen for grey hair. Count me in 🙋🏾♀️
Another great video! Also, you look beautiful Khadija!
Your soul is so beautiful! Love your videos God bless!
Whitney is one of my favorite too. I love melanin products. Henna suk is also my favorite henna. I use this brand. I am glad it's sold in my black beauty supply store. Great job ladies.
Nice outfit! Love the blue color on you 💚
I LOVE THIS!!!! I cat wait for my orders to get here this week. I'm going to do a video
Yay! Tag us in it so we can see!
I arrive now, but because of you, I really want to try! You are amazing! Thank you so much! 💖💖💖
Welcome Ana!!!! Let me know if you have any questions
@@HennaSooq Thank you so much
Thank you Khadija from Trina in Las Vegas... Love this process
Welcome xo xo xo
I use your Moroccan henna and your Indigo for a nice copper brown on my grays, I love it! Can you share where you got the adorable bookshelf afro doll from? I collect dolls sometimes and I would love one for my library shelf!
This is so soothing 😌 (as I add my henna to my hair 🥰)
I just got my package from you doll and I can’t wait to use it. Delivery was quick!!
Awesome!!! Yeah! Enjoy xo
I absolutely love my “platinum”, I had my streak since I was 35ish. 19yrs later I want to dye my hair blue black but, I don’t want it to bleed over to my platinum streak.
Yes I hear you! It must be gorgeous :)
I am just begging to Learn from you and it is amazing. I do have a couple big spots of gray and then strand throughout. I think I will go for the mix.
IM A NEW SUBSCRIBER! AND I REALLY LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!! AND BEAUTIFUL PEACEFUL SPIRIT U, HAVE..🤗
I am curious to try your guy's brand of henna. Your products look great.
Hi Khadijah :) I'm loving your channel, definitely will be trying your products. But I'm just trying to find out, do you have any steps for dark brown hair? I think the black will be a bit too dark for me. I will need it to cover a few odd grey hairs as well. Love this video, but just looking for a little lighter. TIA ☺️
Funny, I just found this video of Whitney’s last week and I watched it. 💖
hahah! What a coincidence. I absolutely adore her - Khadija
Can you please shed light on which henna to use to maintain color treated blond hair? I have colored my hair for about 35 years now and have been using the majority of your natural products for about 2 months. I love all of them. I would like to completely switch over and use a henna in place of hair color to also cover my grays, if this is possible. Can you elaborate? Thank you!!!
Regarding using the 2 step henna and indigo process as she did in the video, what if I don't want jet black, but instead want a darker brown, how long would I leave the indigo on? I heard someone from another site say 20-30 min.? thank you!
I follow her and stared to use henna😘 love her
Can't wait for gray hair regimine..I love mixing the brown color henna+Indigo.
Us as well. We hope to have it fully ready by early 2022. It's going to be amazing! Are you transitioning from henna hair color to your greys?
I love these videoss
Hello Khadija
Do you think i can cover my grey hair only with one step ( henna+indigo at the same time)?
Thank you for this video as I'm starting to gray and want a natural alternative to chemical dyes. Love your natural hair doll on your bookshelf behind you! Where did you get her from?
Welcome and thank you. The 3 gorgeous dolls were made by Tanya Montegut and I think she has an etsy page. I bought them from Miss Paula who is the sister James Baldwin.
@@HennaSooq 😘
Hi Kadyshia if I use henna late at night is it ok to use the indigo the next morning rather than sleeping with it in my hair?
Ps please hurry up with the henna for grey hair cuz I have a lot the entire crown area almost for sure the rest is jet black! So weird right!!!👀😱🤣🤣🤣👍🏽 Well, thanks for the info it is just what I was looking for omg!!!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️🙏🏽
Yeah do not mess with any sister whom is sincerely helping our community. Whitney is an absolute Queen.
I was an OG henna head and used to buy bulk Jamila boxes from you and others
Does indigo have any hair growth benefits on its own?
Where did you get the doll in the background?
How long does indigo last for you guys?
Thank you for your videos! They are very helpful 🙂 can you please tell me where I can buy those dolls 🪆 😄
Love this, I'm so excited to try henna!! Could you add the Goddess Hair mask to the Henna to prevent dryness?
Do a henna gloss, my hair comes super soft. Plus henna guys have been the best henna.
Should we start henna with wet clean hair or dry clean hair?
Because sulfate dries the hair and strips it. Dawn dish soap is a great clarifying shampoo.
Great reaction video! Very helpful. Soooo, you're saying if I use indigo alone on my greys, they turn green? Ya know, that actually sounds AWESOME. Is it like a green, green with green tint in the dark hair? Or like uh oh green that looks like an accident? I really want to try this out now. Can I just do a henna treatment on top if it goes badly? Is it harmful?
It would be like a muddy green color! I wouldn't recommend using henna after the indigo. For it to work properly, henna should be applied first, and indigo after :)
Couldn’t she use some kind of red undertone to prevent it from turning green?
@@Idcbear420
Yes..henna.
Can you use just Indigo without the henna in order to cover all the grays? Will it work without henna? Just indigo?
Hello. If you use just indigo, it'll leave a green hue. We recommend a two step process with henna and indigo. You can refer to this guide to help you in the process: hennasooq.com/blogs/frontpage/complete-guide-how-to-color-your-hair-with-henna-and-indigo/
Is the use of two-step henna dyeing on gray hair necessary? Recently, I dyed first with pure henna and then with henna + indigo. The effect is fantastic, but very time-consuming.
Next time I would like to use only one step, which is henna + indigo on gray hair. Will the effect be the same?
It depends on how resistant your greys are. I have tried both on mine and the two step process works better for me.
@@PandoricaLost Will it come out when i wash my hair?
I only do one step what I call “hendigo” (henna and indigo mixed together) application and it works out fantastic for me every time time. The trick is to get the ratios of henna and indigo correct for what color you’re trying to get on your grays. I like the color to be very, very dark, like black tones so my ratio of indigo is very high in my hendigo mix. I get the look I’m go for without having to do two steps which is soooo time consuming like has already been mentioned. 🤷🏾♀️
I’ve heard you say over and over that indigo doesn’t like anything else except plain water but you just mentioned in this video that a little bit of aloe vera powder can be added. Can you please clarify this ?
You can use a little aloe , I normally add salt so indigo can hold in my hair better
Aloe Powder will help you avoid your hair getting extremely dry from the henna and indigo
😍😍

Can we freeze leftover henna which is included amla paste, sprouted methi paste and egg ?
You probably can. I just wonder how the thawing would be with an egg in it. But try it out and see. let us know.
@@HennaSooq I applied frozen leftover henna with eggs, when its thawed its results awesome, doesn't feel that it has an eggs, henna paste looks nice , but before applied I added 6 to 7 crushed cloves and applied for 3 hours .its smell fresh like henna leaves.
Please tell me you don't have to use those sandwich bags For each section
Can matcha be used as a green tea for henna?
Yes for sure. :) If it's loose just strain it though or the bits might stay in your hair.
@@HennaSooq thank you!
So can warm aloe juice be used instead of water?
Yes absolutely.
@@HennaSooq will it effect the color?
Can you add a aloe vera gel?
Hello. Unfortunately not as the aloe Vera gel form doesn’t work well for coloring. The indigo is very fussy and ideally aloe vera powder helps it perform best
I say new growth instead of roots 😂
You should never condition pre-color, because they clogs your cuticle of your cortex
