- Impulse bought my first Over/Under shotgun. I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. I plan on using this gun for skeet and dove. Hopefully it'll all work out. If not, I'll be sure to let you know of any issues. From the reviews I've seen it looks like a working mans Beretta.
that thing is gorgeous!!!! I love that walnut stock!!! Incredible!!!
Xmas is just around the corner 🤞
Thanks for your effort. Spend some time with experienced shooters and learn about general shotgun terms and applications.
Your new purchase clays shotgun is a much better gun than you may realize.
Looks really nice to me. Enjoy the hunt and thanks for sharing.
I clipped one bird and missed the others. It was scarce shooting but still had a great time. It shoots nice and not heavy on the recoil like I expected.
@@x.adam1 sounds like a good purchase. Probably was good just to take it out for a spin.
My son and I own the same shotgun, excellent sporting firearm and the stock is a Turkish garde 2 wood which is equivalent to my Italian made shotgun that cost much much more. I would & have recommended this shotgun to others.
Academy Sports has these for $729.99. Sounds like a bargain to me. I shoot a Fausti L4 Sport with 32’ bbls, which is a great. I’m looking for a guest gun for when I take friends to my gun club to shoot sporting clays.
Mine is great! I’ve had it for 2 years and have put about 23,000 rounds. No problems
Probably machine checkered... the checkering is much less aggressive when done that way. The tiny diamonds often end up rounded over a bit causing the dullness in the checkpoint
I’ve known two of these guns to have the forearm latch just fall off. It’s like they glue it on instead of welding it lol. Good luck if this happens!
I'm is probably Improved, F is full I'd imagine, m is most likely modified, ic is probably Improved cylinder, and sk is probably skeet
All of which are just different patterns formtye chokes. Clover would be a great person to ask about all thr different patterns of each
The More You Know 💫. I’m going to try skeet with it next week. Thanks for the info. I’ll see which other choke besides skeet I’ll put on the 2nd barrel.
She's a beauty
Thanks. She’ll go in the elitist safe with the other wood guns that don’t want to be seen around polymer.
Warning: the tang or “hook” on the barrel that the fore end snaps into is silver soldered. This broke on my gun after less than two hundred shells and the shooter (my son) was left with the stock in his hand and the barrel and fore end on the ground. I opted not to send it back to the manufacturer for repair (knowing this would void the warranty) as I thought that would take forever so I had a gunsmith weld ($130) the tang back on. I am not saying I don’t like the gun…..yet. If anything else breaks I will repair it and sell it. I do love the way it shoots.
It's a good looking OU you could separate it and it might fit in the safe
I think you’re right. Going to try that. It’s not a self defense gun so I don’t need it at the ready anyway.
The star is most certainly not a “Texas theme”. In Turkish Yildez means “star”
I agree but the hps sporting is an Academy (Katy Texas) exclusive USA model.
I can't help but think both the manufacturer and importer think the star logo is fitting.
Wish I could get one here in AZ but academy sports doesn’t ship to FFL’s
👍👍
🤠👍
HPS = High Performance Steel.
SK is skeet
M is modified
F is full
IC improved cylinder
IM improved modified
How many doll hairs might this set a guy back?
I’d say 730 of them but if you include Uncle Sam’s take its 790.
With love in my heart -- you know nothing about shotguns but you decided to review a shotgun! What? Please stop!
It hurt.
What chokes do you use for Yildiz ? Which one do you have on top and on the bottom barrel?
Trulock makes chokes for Yildiz guns.
There prices are better than Briley.
Embarrassing...
oh no.... not Turkish shotguns....
How many guns per round do you have now?
You are definitely not a sport hunter. New more about guns when i was 12
Absolutely clueless owner…..embarrassing
We all have to start somewhere. As he said, this kind of shotgun and that kind of shooting was never his thing, and he’s still learning. Stop being an ass.
@@FallHuntsmanI’ll be an ass….dude is absolutely clueless
This guy does not pretend to be an expert so I say back off some.
