- I scouted the Perkins game lands in Davie County a couple days ago. There was a lot of land to cover and I know I didn't get all of it. From the areas I scouted, I found some really good sign. Anywhere near the creeks and river you will find plenty of hog activity.

I was bowhunting over there and heard a Boar coming up through the woods, scared me because I had never had a close encounter with a Feral hog while hunting. It was definitely an adrenaline rush.I knew it was a male pig because they pretty much hang out by themselves unless there's a sow in heat
I really appreciate the video, I just recently have started scouting the property myself. I cant wait to get back out there and try to retrace some of your steps. I believe some of the access points have been limited since this video was shot. Anyone interested in a hunting partner give me a shout.

Have you ever dove hunted out there? I know they have like 4 fields but not sure how crowded they are or if any birds out there. Next time you go walking it let me know I’d love to tag along

I live in Davie County near the Perkins gameland - I am new to hunting but would like hunt hog there. Not even what to look for, but figured on finding the creek and following that. Is there a time of day better than another for hogs?

checked hog season on the website, says its open all year round. Is that private land only?

I think you’re only allowed to hunt this land 3 days a week which sucks looks like a good area
