I hunt this area somewhat frequently and unfortunately (fortunately?) USDA has conducted trapping on the hogs and the sign/numbers are way down.

Question about in alcoa game land do hogs stay there now? If there i would love to go hunt and squirrels hunt too

I went there Sept 2021 and it was god awful. Trail was all thick and overgrown. I darn near got lost. Passing on this one.

Have you ever dove hunted out there? I know they have like 4 fields but not sure how crowded they are or if any birds out there. Next time you go walking it let me know I’d love to tag along

I used to hunt this property long time ago, you can get lost real easy on this property the way it snakes around the private to the River. There's some real good squirrel hunting by the small pond on the Left not far from the main Rd

Hey I just moved to catawba and dont really know where to hunt, do you got any suggestions.

Every time you post one of these I take my kids around to find a point. I think we found a knife but not sure. It looks like mica or clear quartz but chipped into a still sharp edge! Thanks for turning us on to the artifact hunt!

I really appreciate the video, I just recently have started scouting the property myself. I cant wait to get back out there and try to retrace some of your steps. If it wasn't for your statement at 14:36 I would have thought the sign was all from nocturnal use, not much good during normal hunting hours, Area Does Have Possibilities, still not easy due to so much water available .

So from regs I have read u can hunt on game land hogs till feb 29 th endless u r in 5 Counties that require permits does that sound right to you also great video I do have also seen a lot of hogs sign off 601 and in Davie County off of believe it’s point Road hope you ended up getting you one bit of crappy deer season hopefully I can get a hog

Casville. Shooting range on the other side of it is a dirt road going up the hill take that road and go towards the river I’ve seen some hog trails. Send me location of that place....
