Grady's Marcus Trauma Center

The $7 million Marcus Trauma Center project increases the number of major trauma bays from four to seven and adds eight minor to moderate trauma rooms. In addition, the expansion allows for the treatment of up to 16 patients, two per trauma bay, in a mass casualty situation should the need arise. Grady's emergency room is on track for nearly 105,000 visits this year, and receives about 3,000 major trauma cases annually.

I was one of the fortunate few who toured the Marcus Trauma Center with Dr. Michael Frankel today & was blown away by this state of the art facility and expert care patients receive here. The doctors are so dedicated and WE are so lucky to have this place in Atlanta. THANK YOU BERNIE MARCUS for filling this critical need!!!!!
