The only bad thing is if you owe them money they can take it out of your social security since they are federal.

We're lucky to have such a great trauma center in San Antonio.

This place sucks. They are garnishing my $979 a month social security check.
Leaving me a whole $830 to live on. WOW!!!😢

Tell me about it. Idk wtf kinda work environment is going on there but my mother was a nurse there and would come home and verbally abuse me and take her frustrations out on me. She projected all of her nasty crap and anger at life onto me and would then manipulate the situation to make me look like the crazy angry ungrateful child. I made good grades just to please her and get her attention ffs! This woman has SMILED at my distress and nobody would believe me because they all think she's an upright citizen and honorable veteran. Whatever I'm an adult now and I'll have to work and heal through it.
. No matter how hard I tried to be good I was still called ungrateful and looked at like I was scum and my brother, also in the military, was seen as a golden child. Idk if other military families are like this but.....the culture is toxic. I don't care how un-American it sounds but there are people who join and then turn it into a toxic, toxic abusive work environment, rife with sexual harassment and whatnot, but I digress. This needs to be talked about bc there's so many good people working here as well who don't deserve this toxic work environment and these coworkers NEED to be at 110% in order to do their job for their patients that definitely deserve to heal as best they can. I'm sorry your wages were garnished. I'm sorry you're going through this and hope it gets better. It just seems like everyone gets the short end of the stick here.
