There's an unofficial update for this thing. You can at least make changes and they say that it improves performance. For this price, the size of the screen alone makes it a deal. Jacek Rusin's very small channel is pretty much the M17 and the R36S. He does gameplay videos whenever an update comes out for either one. He has the links.
And there is also MinUI for this now
There is also s1eepy youtube channel, who is doing videos on M17; they're working on batocera and Spectral Elec cfw.
I would also suggest replacimg the sd card it comes with. Its slow and prone to corrupting. Just copy the files onto a faster sd card and it improves a lot of performance issues. Its particularly helpful for ps1 and psp emulation.

I got mine about 2 weeks ago. I added extra games. I wanted to change out the battery but it's soldered on to the board. Great hand held.

Mine also came with no sound! The headphones don’t work either. Any ideas?

Olá. Eu comprei um e está para chegar só que dizem que o cartão que vem nele não é tão bom, então vou copiar os jogos e salvar em outro cartão vc sabe me dizer se simplesmente cópia e cola ou tem que instalar algum programa para o novo cartão, e se for assim como que faz? Agradeço

My console came and there was no sound and most Roms did not work. I just figured out that the console is ok, but it came with corrupted SD card. Can someone please help me and tell me where I can download an ISO to replace the SD card?

Dude, it's got 59 MAME games. M A M E G A M E S ! Out of the thousands, we have these turds ;) (I got one of these, and they seem to think sending them to an English-speaking country really needs to have the Japanese and German versions of popular roms). As soon as stable CFW comes for this, this crippled Emuelec crap is TRASHED!

As long as it's not a racial slur, I fail to see why it matters at ALL if someone "curses". You are choosing to be offended by these words without any real reason. I hope someday to live in a world where "curse words" are just considered regular words like any other. Because thats all they really are, but for some reason people choose to get offended anyways. Can you please explain to me why it matters to you?
