Absolutely love the design of this with the single joystick on top and those retro colored buttons. Perfect!!
Remove the analog stick, move the d-pad higher and then it will be much better.
If you did that it would be like every other retro handheld out there. I like the option to have a vertical handheld with analog at the top.

Seems like a nice luttle machine. I prefer to get into the settings a bit more than this thing offers. Then again the settings veing so simple will keep kids from messing it all up and the sound seems amazing. Dies it get loud?

This has something to do with my camera / screen recording. I think this has something to do with the refresh rate ? 🙄
@@WickedGamerCollector to the best of my knowledge, it may mean the screen is flickering at a low enough frequency (hundreds of hertz) for the camera to pickup at a low shuttering speed (I assume your lighting condition is not too bright for the camera to shutter at high speed). This kind of flickering frequency is enough to cause eye strain for me because I'm sensitive to that. Most OLED screens cause eye strain for me because of this same reason.
@@WickedGamerCollector I don't think it's refresh rate. It's LCD screen so when the frame changes, the pixels aren't turned off.
Gameboy does not look very sharp. Is there a smoothnes filter activated? An there are no options to change it (they deactivated most EmuElec options)? Maybe a CFW could really help here 🤷🏻♂️

As nice as it is to find a hidden gem in this price range, so much is going to be compared to the similarly-priced RG35XX family now. I feel kinda bad for the also-rans for the next few months.
I will never understand why the Chinese insist on putting the d-pad in the wrong spot almost every time.
@Residentevil1998racooncity It's a preference the Chinese have and they only put the d-pad in the proper place begrudgenly, sometimes with new versions of their handheld just to appease the rest of the world, like with Game Consoie's R35S/R36S and a couple Anbernic devices
