5:03 Is the best fighter jet footage I have ever seen. The image quality, focus, exposure and subject tracking is the best I have seen. Well done on capturing from this perspective.
Beautiful to see this old jets like the 707 and 747 still flying no matter what country it is flying you can’t deny the fact these planes will always be special
absolutely the most phenomenal cinematography on youtube. this is identical to being there in person. not only that but the sound capture is amazing as well.
Absolutely beautiful video, the best planespotting I've ever seen! Now I've also bought a Sony RX10 IV, but unfortunately I'm still a beginner. Would it be possible if you could specify the video settings? It would help me a lot, but I'd understand if they'd rather keep it a secret! Kind regards, Vital
Thank you very much! We really appreciate that mate! Cool, that you bought the camera, you will like the camera for sure! We recommend filming with setting A (on the small wheel), always try to be on ISO 100. If not then anything between 100 and 200 is okay. You can also use ISO 250 if you need to. The shutter should always be above 1/200 and we recommend filming with F 5.6 or F 5.0 because it is the sharpest quality and anything higher is sometimes a bit blurry and unsharp. The focus can be in the middle or on the whole screen. Hope we were able to help you! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask them!
oK, First off, the picture quality was so good on this, really thought that pretty much all of the planes/jets were all Computer generated, like from one of those Computer games, or were they, I really couldnt tell..LOL but anyway, on that first one, the U.S. air Force BlackJack plane, on the very ends of the wings next to the jet Engines, there was something there wit 2 very small propellors that were actually spinning, May I ask what those actually were, the next jet after that one actually had them too.....when I saw that 747 at around 2:20, knew that those are slowing being retired, so was actually curious to know about how many 747's still fly today and found that as of this year there are about 500 Still in service, of in which ONLY 30 of those 500 are actually carrying passengers, the remain 470 must be either for carrying cargo only or maybe something else, then found out thaT, 300 Do fly cargo only and the rest of them are in Storage......
Thank you very much for your kind comment and positive feedback! We really appreciate that! The small propeller on the Gladiator Pod helps to collect data and host the Advanced Battle Management System. It helps to better communication, defensive, and sensor technologies for the KC-135. It is new in the Air Force and will be used by 2023. You can read more about these Pods here: alert5.com/2021/04/12/kc-135-will-soon-be-able-to-defend-itself-using-the-gladiator-pod/ It is really great and unbelievable that the 747 is such an active aircraft today! Thank you very much for your comment and feedback again! We really appreciate your support!
No wonder your sound quality is so good. You are using Sennhiser microphones. Best professional grade microphones anywhere. Would love to hear you get your hands on their AMBEO mic to work as a secondary sound recording source but they are an uber expensive $1500 just for the mic and another $600 for the dearVR PRO channel mixer software
Just fantastic stuff again! I can watch your videos hours!!! Great camera work again. If I should have an improvement comment it will be the tip for you to start experimenting with longer shutter speeds on propeller planes for a better propblur 😉 It is not easy with 30 fps and 1/100 sec exposure, but your RX10 can handle it!! I use the same camera here for my aviation videos 😉👍
Thank you very much mate! We will try to do it in the future but It is indeed really hard with 1/100 :D Do you have any experience with 1/100 propblur?
hey man i just started watching you and listen bro you are great with tracking planes down! please tell me how do you track them so well without jittering or anything on the tripod?

Definitely, a pleasure to see them flying!
The JSTARS is a very old plane. It was converted from existing 707 airliners.

8:20Fantastic sound (and smoke trails) from those old JT3Ds. The C-130 turning onto short finals following it seems to have forgotten something... 🛬
