Thank you for uploading this, looking for a low wattage mini fridge/cooler for a van conversion I'm doing and your review helped me save time and money!
Neat little gadget, but because of it's reliance on ambient temps, I don't think it's going to do too well storing food items inside a car in Arizona heat! Thanks, great review!

Glad the video helped. Yeah I could see how people might think this will do what a normal mini fridge would regardless of ambient temps. The plus side is you can use it to keep food warm, but the capacity is probably too small to really store that much food.

Cool review, Bang Bang Ben. That's great that it can cool things down AND warm them up. Pretty nifty. Also, if you're doing reviews from Amazon products, maybe it wouldn't hurt to make all your links into affiliate links, that way you get a small commission when we use your links to buy from Amazon. Just a thought :)

Thanks! This portable cooler will be awesome for future roadtrips. Good idea on the affiliated links with Amazon. I'll look into it although I think my subscriber numbers and channel being all over the place might not make me too attractive to them yet. Guess I'll still have to work my thang -BBBen

How does the soda taste. I waited for 5 min for you to pop one those sodas open and you to say. “Feels smooooooth”

Temperature wise the soda was nice and cold. Not ice cold, but pretty much what a full up fridge would do.

Since there isn't refrigerant, could this run on its side?

You probably could, but I'd be sure to prop it up somehow to ensure that the vents on the side aren't blocked otherwise the unit would probably overheat or not work as well.

    Does it leak

The unit doesn't/shouldn't leak. However if you're asking about condensation from inside then it would depend on the local humidity in your area.
