This was the most beautifully intense drama I’ve ever seen. My heart poured out to the beautiful Korean people who stood for what they believed in and were willing to fight and even die for the people they loved and the people around them. This makes them more than just people in my eyes. I look at them like heroes and I even feel disgusted at the length America has gone to in order to satisfy the never-ending thirst of the elite. Koreans are truly courageous. That’s what I call integrity

There is no moving on after this drama. Mr. Sunshine just marks you, and leaves you bleeding.

No. 1 drama show by far, of the highest quality. Script, iconic scenery, cinematography, great actors, sublime acting, slow pace, heartfelt accompanying music. About love, war, heartbreak, social disparity, deception, submission, oppression, atrocities, rebellion. There simply is no other story of this magnitude that I can think of that is portrayed in such a magnificent way. It tops Saving Private Ryan and Schindler's List, which are movies of course. But this Korean show is in the same ball park.
Just me, but I don't think Saving Private Ryan or Schindler's List come close to Mr. Sunshine. They don't belong in the same ball park with Mr. S. They are really good, but.....

Just finished watching the last episode. I only had faint faith that they will be together. When every main roles were dying I knew Eugin had no chance to live but still wanted to see if they at least fly away secretly.
The last train scene is so much heart breaking. I’m totally devastated in sadness. ..

Nadeesha Hapuarachchi Ha Ha another SL kdrama fan. Ya this one had great cinematography, story, OST and a good cast. If you can’t move from this try, Itaewon class, Angle’s last mission and King: Eternal Monarch. Good stories OSTs and happy endings LOL

I wish the movie didn't end. I continue to watch some scenes in the film again. Almost every day. It didn't happen to me before I watched the same movie so often. I really like the way Eugene loves Ae-Shin. I love the soundtrack in the film, especially "see you again". I wish there was a sequel to the film or at least another film with the same actors. ❤️

I juts finished this series this past week end and I cannot move forward. I want to see this love and faces everyday. I love them so much. And I loved the hotel owner role she played. She was so smart and wise and with so much skill in her own beautiful way. My heart broke when the Samuair walked her on the beach. He portrayed such a hardness, but shame all he also wanted was to be loved. As for the rich fiance, I loved his naughty and happy demeaneour. Oh I miss them.. I'm so sad about the ending. But he truly set her free to do what she believes in. Awesome

Aconselho a leitura do livro: "O Labirinto dos Perdidos" de Amin Maaloulf. É um livro que descreve maravilhosamente este período em que o Japão ascendeu a grande potência. Fala ainda sobre a Russia, a China e os EUA. Todas as nações que puseram em causa o poderio do Ocidente na sua história. Não fiques com uma má imagem do Japão, pois o mesmo aprendeu a um elevado preço o que a arrogância, o fanatismo e os egos podem fazer a uma nação.

Okay am back to history books. I know the movie was a work of fiction, but I am grateful it made me question the little i know it actually got me interested in the Japan/ Korean War, we never learnt much about it.. So sad what all these wars around the world all very devastating all because of mans greed and another having to defend its self so far what am learning about the nation of S Korea I can see the resilience of its people and them saying never again and now I know why they have mandated military training for all their males ... I was so limited in my way of thinking coz I only knew what was taught to me, but now I just want to know more than the just the basics.

Leio o que eu fiz e me tranquilizo. Agora pensando aqui, como uma obra fictícia pode afetar tanto a nós, não é?
