I gotta say - I've watched hundreds of action movies in my life, and that freeway scene might just be the best pure adrenaline rush I've ever gotten from a film.
Easily one of the best chase scenes ever filmed.
They built an entire freeway for that scene! It's really awesome
That Juno Reactor soundtrack during that sequence is iconic.
I thought the fight at the chateau was incredible as well. Felt like it drew influence from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, in how it showcased all the different weaponry. Plus the score was just great. Cut from that to the freeway chase and they somehow managed to actually escalate the action without fatiguing the audience.
I think I'm in that rare group that actually prefers this movie over the other two, it's my favorite of the trilogy. It might not have been as story thick as the first one, but the pacing was unreal.
Have you seen John Wick 4 yet? 3 words: dragon’s breath scene
The actor you were thinking was Method Man is actually Roy Jones jr. One of the best pound-for-pound boxers ever
Funny part is at one point he was a rapper.
Also his character Ballard was one of the few Redpillers who's killed an agent and/or a exile(s)
Others are Morpheus, Niobe, Trinity , Roland, Ghost, The Kid and of course Neo
Holy shit I thought I knew all the Matrix trivia and I had no idea Roy Jones Jr was in it.
R.I.P. Gloria Foster. She played The Oracle. She tragically died before completion of the series.
If you haven’t seen it already, please consider adding the movie, ‘Constantine’, to your list. VERY underrated film, also with Keanu Reeves. It’s excellent!
Devil's Advocate was another notable performance.
I concur!!
I agree... Great movie.
DEVILS ADVOCATE FOR SURE
I would hesitate to call it excellent. Worth watching if you're such a huge Keanu Reeves fan that you'll watch almost anything he's in, but otherwise most people aren't missing much. Unless it suddenly gets way better in the second half.
Believe It or not Keanu Reeves is a well-trained martial artist. Most of the stunts that Keanu Reeves done in this and in John wick are one-hundred-percent him.
There is an fun video by Fact Fiend that talks about all his training. He could *be* an assassin.
I love how even when Agent Smith hits him in the face with a telephone pole his sunglasses stay on!
And he was injured right before his first fight with Orpheus. They all trained how to fight and how to fight with the wires. Just amazing.
Absolutely correct! While preparing for the Matrix and John Wick series, Keanu Reeves trained at Taran Tactical in Simi Valley, CA. He also got to train with LAPD SWATT, and they said he was good enough to ACTUALLY be in their unit! There's some terrific videos of him (And Halle Berry, for JW2) at Taran Tactical that are DEFINITELY worth checking out!
Some people don't like the sequels, but I LOVE them. They really open up the world and show even more - not just simple repeats of what we've already seen. They also expand the religious and thematic elements and meaning greatly.
Sequels are fine they are just in an other league.
The reason most people don't like them is because of the cg
A lot of people cannot critique movies properly anyway. That's why superhero movies kept on coming out for a long time.
@Dyson Standford I Totally agree!
People are morons this was a perfect trilogy period. It was uber cool to hate the sequels when they came out and people are lemmings.
The screens represent every possible response Neo could give. Showing that Neo can’t really surprise the architect, because he’s already calculated what Neo will say or do.
I always thought the screens were showing the different reactions from previous versions of Neo, but I think you're actually right about it.
@@MichaelPoke both could be correct
Both good points.
The screens represents all the pervious iterations of Neo. All the version of him made the choice to ‘save/reboot’ Zion by going back to the Source and reintegrate the code he carries and select 23 people, 16 female, 7 male to rebuild Zion. He is the only one who did not make that choice. There always will be people like Neo that will reject the Matrix and that can’t be left to go unchecked.
Except he does suprise him with his choice lol
Keanu grew into a fantastic actor.... Truly a humble and giving man.
This 2nd Matrix is highly underrated. Action was next level. They actually built that freeway from scratch so they could do everything they wanted to do. Incredible sequences. Glad y'all liked it.
Back when this came out. They had a video game called Enter the Matrix, that ran parallel with this movie. As you played as Niobe and Ghost. They even filmed additional live-action footage for the cut scenes.
That's true - and the scene in Reloaded where Niobi catches Morpheus with her car when he falls off the truck on the highway, also plays out in the video game - but you are Niobi and you have to get there in time to catch him! Really well done.
I played this game years ago.. fighting the werewolves and vampire analogues in the Merovingians Chateau. So many cool stages, fighting agents off the back of a C130 with the cargo ramp open in flight, the sewers, fighting Seraph and Trinity one on one, too many to list. Extra scenes with the actors and actresses were shot for the cutscenes, Niobe and other minor characters were given a lot more screen time. Best of all, written by the Wachowskis themselves. A true companion experience to the film.
There is a wonderful irony from the first Matrix where Agent Smith was calling humanity a virus. Here in Matrix 2, Agent Smith is literally a computer virus overwriting others and duplicating himself over them. Not just programs, but People too.
One detail you might have missed was the Person picking up the phone was overwritten by Agent Smith. It was Smith who went through the phone into the real world. He was the guy cutting himself. He was also the guy at the end lying next to Neo.
Carrie Ann Moss is PERFECT casting as Trinity too. All of the main cast were taken through a lot of pre-filming work on stunts, action etc. She took to the stunt driving like a duck to water. She quickly became one of the stunt drivers / riders. If I recall from one of the documentaries, her Dad was a stunt driver so she's grown up around fast things. I imagine that ability would make her even more attractive to other producers in other movies.
Guard: ''Hold on right there little lady''
Jay: ''Shut your mouth!''
Loved it!
Random trivia info: Katanas are single edged swords with long wrapped handles used by Samurai (like the one Morpheus uses in this movie) the small blades you're referring to as Katanas are in fact Sais (or Sai for singular)
I cringed when he called them "katana's"
And the thing right after that when Rob asked "what the heck is that?" (staff with club end with spikes all over it) is called Lang Ya Bang, the wolf's tooth club.
Raphael uses Sais, Leonardo uses katanas.
@@patrickbateman7369 🤣 I know I was like "excuse me ! "
I think he was thinking of the pallet swap version of princess katana who uses those weapons because he mentioned mortal kombat
Let me go ahead and commend you both for understanding “The Architect” on your first viewing. Your post-game analysis of this movie was spot on and dead accurate. Many of us that watched this in theaters left scratching our heads on what just happened. For me, it lasted an agonizing week because (as my wife says,), I’m pretty dense sometimes. Enjoyed that, thanks!
I don't wanna give it away but I'm surprised so many people don't get when Smith takes over an unplugged.
No seriously - someone in our theater said "HUH??" loud enough for us to hear, and we were all right there with him 😅 It's too bad the internet wasn't what it is today back then. Reddit would've set us straight right away 😅
It goes to show u that the concept of the "matrix" was so ahead of its time. People didnt like the 2nd part because of the convoluted part at the end.
Remember walking out wondering if WE were in the matrix? Lol
@@karensilvera6694 I'm STILL wondering 😅
“She has hair…so it took me a minute.” - funniest Rob-ism to date. ☠️🤣🤣🤣
The ~20 minutes from "stop lots of bullets" to "rescue Morpheous from the truck crash" I think is the best 20 minutes of action in cinema. Sweaty palms the whole time.
There are moments in other movies that are better, but nobody has strung it together like that. Maybe the start of Saving Private Ryan, but I would argue this is better.
Keanu Reeves always does his own stunts and fighting when he can. He trains so hard. You can watch him run drills online. The man is dedicated and just amazing
Hey Rob Squad since you're still finishing up movie series here are some other fun series you need to start/finish
1. back to the future
2. Indiana Jones
3. pirates of the caribbean (1-3)
4. national treasure (show this one to the girls if they love US history, I guarantee they'll enjoy the movies and since you say you LOVE conspiracy theories, YOU TWO will eat them up for sure!)
Happy you're getting to finish of something you've been talking about for a while! Have fun!
Love you guys!
I would add Ghostbusters: Afterlife. It's really the only sequel in that series that's worth a damn. Beverly Hills Cop II is also decent. And for the love of movies, please do Die Hard 2 and Die Hard: With a Vengeance.
all pirates of the caribbean movies please
@@silmoherurosaslie in retrospect, the 4th and 5th movies were a bit much, especially the 4th
@@Shrykespeare I would love for them to watch the next few Die Hard movies! They're so good! :D
@@KarlKraus1 You know the unwritten rule if you start you cant stop you have to see it to the (often) Bitter end so careful of the recommendations
When Neo meets the “The Architect” all the TV screens behind him show all the possible outcomes of Neo responses to a question/answer/reaction with each screen also showing the screens for all the possibilities that eventuate from each option he picks so on & so on. As seen when Neo was told the truth some screens behind him showed Neo being angry, some in denial, some in defeat & some in acceptance & once he picked his reaction that screen moves to the foreground becoming reality and the screens behind Neo update to the sub-possibilities for that reaction from there on. And “The Architect” already knows what EVERY screen holds or more clearly, knows all the outcomes from all the decisions Neo can make before Neo arrived.
Well, he THINKS he "knows" every possible outcome but he isn't omnipotent and just like the Oracle, his foresight is based on an always changing present time with alot of factors and moving parts and it relies on the choices that others make(or don't make). In other words, his powers of prediction are not perfect and they rely on so much to be accurate that it's subject to mistakes or misinterpretation. Not only that, but his outright hubris to believe he IS omnipotent and can't be wrong plays into it- and that arrogance gave him a blind spot to ONE scenario that he never saw coming: Neo joining with the machines to defeat Smith, sacrificing himself to create a lasting peace, saving (certainly) man, but maybe even saving the machines as well.
@@porkflaps4717 I would say it was his inability to predict Smith that was his blind spot.
One detail that seemed to me you missed is that the guy lying next to Neo in the final scene is the one turned by Agent Smith right before picking up the phone, and that after was cutting is hand and going after Neo.
I hope you watch Animatrix, it gives some back story to the Matrix Universe. It came out before this movie and gives some background to minor details in second and third movies but is not essential to the story.
Also love how Captain Niobi is always down for all “Entanglements”.
Another fun fact is that Agent Smith iwas also Elrond, King of the Elves in Lord of the Rings
I always advise people to watch The Animatrix before Reloaded. It definitely helps.
The Animatrix, The Second Renaissance 1 &2 is so good and will make you understand a lot of things.
Please react to the original Point Break movie. It's a great action movie that stars Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze. Thank you for your twice weekly movie reviews - I always enjoy watching them.
@Johnny J.
I just wanted to write the same request. I love that movie! Yet, very few even know it.
I absolutely LOVE this movie and franchise in general.
The Frenchman, Persephone, the twins, the courtyard fight scene, the highway scene, the architect, even the writing/story in this one is just fantastic!
Can’t wait for the next one 😂
The Movie might been average in the 2000 years... but nowadays compared tho the shit we get today this is absolute top tier stuff...
Id love to see a movie or series on The Nightmare Matrix program where the Merovingian and they're all from
The weapons Keanu uses in that mansion fight scene were Sais. Very cool.
When I first saw this movie 20 years ago, the world wasn't ready, and everyone was super confused about the architect scene, viewed it as almost incomprehensible. But now, people are just more computer savvy, and a lot of it seems to be more intrinsic to society, so it's a lot easier to absorb now. I think you got the gist of it.
Ay I hope you two react to two more pieces of this franchise.
• 'Enter the Matrix' cutscenes - from a canon video game that focuses on what Niobi & Ghost were doing during this movie
• 'The Animatrix' - Anthology series of different moments in the matrix that happened to other people. One of the episodes actually shows how Neo saved that guy in Zion that looked up to him, and how he got out.
I looooove the Animatrix man, I watched it high and I think it permanently altered my consciousness
"The Last Ride of the Osiris" was my favorite in the Animatrix. Explains how they received word of the machines drilling in meeting at the beginning of Reloaded right before Neo fighting the upgrades.
Those water barrels are called impact attenuators. They are meant to slow vehicles down and cushion a crash as much as possible where they are more likely to happen. Sometimes they are stacked Tractor tires or just about anything that can crumple and absorb as much of the impact as possible.
I didn't know that! Great info! I remember them coming in handy in ANOTHER Keanu Reeves movie, Speed.
How do people NOT know what they are??
Gore Points. And sand.
@@patrickbateman7369 Jay and Amber live in OK; there isn't much need for impact attenuators there. I have cousins who live in OK, and in all my visits to that state, I can't ever remember seeing even one impact attenuator. I'm sure they must have highways that need them somewhere in the state, but you can drive for hours without seeing any there. We have mix masters in TX, so there's plenty of them here, though.
@@Shrykespeare dude if your city doesn't have those. Either you live in a small town without highways or you need to move. They've been on freeways since the 90's at least.
Another Keanu Reeves movie you'll like is Speed It's another wild ride IMO... wilder than this series! You'll be at the edge of your seat from start to finish!
That was his 1st real action movie, too. A bit of a change from the dorky stoner dude he was known for 😄
Love that movie!! Would be a good way to intro Sandra Bullock to them, also. :)
Such a great movie
The chateau fight scene is still the best I've ever seen in a movie. Even over Kill Bill.
Each visit to the Oracle modifies him. When he's almost infected with the Smith virus, that modifies him too (and probably teaches him a trick he uses to restore and heal Trinity). Morpheus got a shot of the Smith Virus too, and I wish they had played with that idea more. Arguably, like how the Merovingian uses code injection (such as that dessert) to manipulate behaviour, Persephone does something similar with the kiss, as well as taking something sustaining for herself.
excelent! no one ever talks about that ... I believe Persephone gains Neo powers by kissing him but then she only uses them secretly for herself... in Revolutions you can understand why she talks the way she does .... because she has some clarividence, she discovers his husband. There is no other way she can guess what the Merv was exactly doing ... (except femenine instinct of course) NO ONE EVER TALKS about that .... great to see you do man (y)
That’s Roy Jones Junior, the legendary Hall of Fame boxer
😂 my man said method man that was funny
One of my favorite scenes from this is the dancing in the cave scene.
So many people taking the joy of simply being alive.
I'm sure it is an everyday thing to wonder if you will live to see the next day in that reality.
This movie had a great sound track... They had rockin' songs by Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, The Deftones, P.O.D., and Rage Against the Machine. And they also had techno by Oakenfold and Fluke. One of my favorites was"Furious Angels" by Rob Dougan. The version for the soundtrack was instrumental. The vocal version is almost like a poetry recital. Rob seems to recite the lyrics more than he sings them. One of the BIG pump up songs is the Marilyn Manson one... "This Is The New S#!@". Warning though... the uncut version is raw... The S-word is in the title and it drops a number of MFer bombs too. I believe the Official Video version is cleaned up though. Don't have the kids around for the video... it is typical Marilyn Manson disturbing...
Yeah, the music was great. Best part of this movie. :)
Hello ya brother! is till have the double press disc release! Dread Rock - Paul Oakenfield was my shit!
The soundtracks are some of the best parts of these movies. .... Until Resurrection. I was super sad that the soundtrack was so.. bland.
Keanu in real life is probably not someone you want to mess with. He has gone through so much Bad A training for all the Bad A characters he has played over the years.
True. He said in an interview once that he did a ton of training for these movies, but the first day on set when he was asked to hit the stuntman, he couldn't do it. They'd practiced all the moves, but never actually hit anyone, and he was afraid he'd seriously injure the guy. The stuntman assured him he could take a punch, so Keanu hit him ... and yes, he got up again. So Keanu relaxed after that, but he does take the responsibility of wielding these skills very seriously. He'd only use it on someone IRL if there were no other choice. He's a very kind soul.
But he's such a humble guy.
@@karensilvera6694
Yup will take photos with fans no matter what and even do quotes from the movies he's in
He was flying at the end of the first one, he gets off the phone and then flys straight up. It's such a cool ending.
The twins were agents from previous versions of the matrix which is why they're so wild
When Locke says to the council that it’s hard for any man to make such a choice when he doesn’t understand the reason and Niobe, a woman, stands up…Chef’s kiss!
Also...one thing you guys kind of picked up on during the cave scene is the connection between Zion and the human body. One of the many interpretations of this series is that Zion represents the body, the Matrix represents the mind, and the machine world represents spirit. And they're all important in their own way.
This one really pushes the envelope on sequels eclipsing the original. This one's a dead heat with the original. So good.
Chad Stahelski - Started out as Reeves stunt double. He moved up to stunt co-ordinator by the second film. During the first film, in the subway scene where Neo jumps up and smash the agent on his back into the ceiling; Stahelski performed this stunt where they pull his up, with a pulley system, with the agent on his back to smash him into the ceiling. Instead the pulley system stopped working as they were coming down 28 feet....with the stuntman on his back to the ground. Stahelski said "Most of his right leg was messed up." He destroyed his ankle, knee and hip. His knee completely turn around. Pretty bad. He couldn't fly to the states to get surgery until he could at least move his leg. The Wachowski felt bad about what happened so they invited him into the editing room. This is where he learn all about filming and editing. As you know, Stahelski is the director for John Wick. You can see how the Matrix and John Wick movies look a lot like. He learn from the Wachowski. Plus during the Matrix this was the first time (that i can recall) they asked actors to go threw some intense training (martial arts and gun training) so they could perform their own fight scenes. Which Stahelski carried over to the John Wick franchise. ua-cam.com/video/5m3sW94zjXM/v-deo.html
The motorway scene still holds up today, without fast cuts. Banging soundtrack too, great reaction.
In 2003, I was disappointed in the Matrix Reloaded, but I love your reactions because your enthusiasm helps me appreciate all the good that was in Reloaded. There's a lot of cool stuff and I'm happy you enjoyed it. *80s movie recommendation: You mentioned "back doors" as a programming term. The first time I heard that reference was WAR GAMES 1983. A techno thriller with Matthew Broderick. You guys should definitely check it out someday.
Thank you! I was beginning to think I was the only one disappointed by this movie. But yes, I'm glad they enjoyed it and it was fun seeing their reactions. :)
I loved War Games; such a great movie from the 80's!
100% with you guys on War Games. A great 80's film with a great cast.
@@blacksheep_edge1412 I agree they should see War Games (1983). The technology now is a bit dated (nobody uses telephone modems and floppy disks now) but the story and the suspense still holds up.
I remember when we watched Reloaded in theaters it was such a huge event, because this movie came out so many years after the first one and then when it concluded the way it did, we had to wait 6 months for Revolutions to come out - and it was torture! 😅
8:08 - the woman who plays Zee's (actress Nona Gaye) sister is actress Gina Torres (Cas) used to be actor Laurence Fishburne's (Morpheus) wife in real life. They got divorce in 2018 though, unfortunately. Gina Torres used to be one of the leads in a short lived Sci-Fi show called "Cleopatra 2525". She also does a LOT of voice acting work for animations and video games.
I got The Matrix on VHS back in the day in 2000, after it came out in 1999, and then picked up The Matrix: Reloaded and The Matrix: Revolutions by 2004 on DVD along with the original on DVD, and watched them over and over again on a weekly basis until 2008 when I finally put them away for about 5 years.
Couldn't stop watching, couldn't stop thinking. If you get a chance on the Blue-Ray set they not only have the Animatrix which preceded both of these films, and then watch the clips from the Video Game, Enter The Matrix which features more of Captain Niobe speaking with the Oracle about why she needs to help Neo in Revolutions, but also features more of Persephone, and the Merovingian, but there is also Return To Source: Philosophy & The Matrix which reviews all three films and the Animatrix and interviews professors of philosophy and theology about the metaphysics and meaning in the films! It is an hour long and very good!
I was a huge fan of the Matrix trilogy when it came out, I love watch yall react to trilogies like this, I would love to see you finish Back to the Future, and The Hobbit series is another good one I would love to watch with yall, . . but I would like to request a reaction from one of my favorite movies that I think you would appreciate and enjoy, being involved with teaching. . . "Finding Forrester" . A Very good, underrated film starring Sean Connery and ROB Brown . .
They really need to see Sean Connery play 007 at least once before they dig into his other movies, imho, but yes Finding Forrester was a wonderful film. I love everything I've seen Sean Connery do, though. :)
I’m surprised you haven’t realized that agent Smith was Elrond in Lord of the Rings 😊
Fun fact about this franchise.
Will Smith actually turned down the role of Neo claiming he didn’t see the vision of the film.
Also Val Kilmer turned down the role of Morphius as well.
There are several scenes in this movie that still give me goosebumps. The freeway chase and the chateau - where they have all of that museum weaponry - are still two scenes that I find so incredible to this day.
The soundtracks are incredible in all 3 movies. I have them all on CD and Apple music. Gets me hype!
For a good movie that makes you think a little bit that you need to watch is: ‘Inception’ with Leonardo DiCaprio. Speaking of Leo DiCaprio, you need to also watch ‘Titanic’ can’t go wrong with those movies.
yes it's another thinking man's action movie. i had to watch it a few times to take it all in.
Sad fact but Aaliyah Dana was to play Zee, wife of Nebuchadnezzar crew member Link (Harold Perrineau), in the Matrix sequels and had already filmed her scenes for Reloaded. Sadly, tragedy would soon necessitate a casting change. Please watch “Romeo must die” staring Aaliyah and jet li it’s an amazing and lots of action!
R.I.P. Gloria Foster who played the Oracle, also :)
5:46
THIS is the melody that plays when Neo is first contacted by Morpheus, back in his office.
THIS is the theme of Zion... THIS is calling out to Neo, in that scene.
Reload and Revolutions came out essentially back to back like Back to the Future 2 and 3.
Seeing this one in theaters was a joy! Some of went in a few times to get the full story, but this is definitely one of those movie franchises that creates movies to bee watched again and again! So powerful, the depth of the topics addressed 🖤 #Greatreviews fam….keep ‘em coming!
I have got to say, I've loved your reactions. Especially after a hard day or a stressful day... So refreshing to just stop by and chill and see what you guys are watching. Keep up the good work. It's really been great to vibe with you guys!
the MTV movie awards had a great parody of this movie, especially the Morpheus speech in the beginning, intercut with footage of the film.
Zion rave guy: "There's gonna be an orgy at Morpheus' place, at least, that's what many of us have heard"
Morpheus: "Zion, hear me! It is true what many of you heard"
the crowd cheers
Zion rave guy: "Morpheus, what can we expect at this orgy?"
Morpheus: "Machines"
34:23 This actor is so underappreciated, he nailed this role 150%.
You should watch The Animatrix. It's a story between first and second movie.
Will Animatrix get a copyright strike? I hope they go for it! Crossing fingers!
Freaking love these two individuals. Ya'll make the best reaction vids to movies I grew up with.

This movie really goes "Hey you wanna see like 3 or 4 of the best action scenes ever?"
Jada is in the movie because Will Smith was supposed to be Neo but he turned the role down. Instead he did The Wild Wild West! He said it was his biggest regret in his career. Well until the slap. Lol
Check out The Animatrix movie. It is a series of short animated films set within the universe and gives the backstory to the Matrix itself as well as how the war began, and some other stories that just flesh out and expand the lore more
Too right, I luv the Animatrix movie.
I hope Amber and Jay see at least 4 of the 9 Animatrix stories. All 9 would be great!
the second renaissance
Amanda "He's going to work with that pole..". Me - That's what she said.
From start to finish, this film is pure magic. The acting, the plot, the CG/practical effects are all just perfect.
Now Neo has "The One" powers also outside the Matrix as he was able to take down Sentinels.
The cliffhanger is that Neo and Agent Smith are both unconscious aboard Niobe's ship, The Hammer and who will wake up first...?
Another excellent video, thank you...!! 👍🏻
Such a shame you guys experienced the highway chase scene via TV and not in the movie theater. Epic.
after 20 years ... stil the best car chase ever made on a movie!!!
👏👏 Excellent cliffhanger! I hope you watch the Matrix Revolutions! It's totally awesome 👌 I do like Hugo Weaving as agent Smith in this series you watched him playing Lord Elrond in The Lord of the Rings movies! Looking forward to more! ☮️💕👍
10:08 "Entanglement"😂😂😂😂😂
I love films like the Matrix films that transport me to another place and time. They are so much fun to watch even though they push all my anxiety buttons.
Besides the musical score, the soundtrack was always amazing too. You had bands like POD, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Linkin Park, Deftones and etc.
I listen to it every once in a while and it still has some good jams. You guys should check it out sometime!
Great reaction you guys. I can't wait for ya'll to react to The Matrix Revolutions
The conversation that Neo has with one of the Elders in the middle of the night is KEY!!!!!!
It basically foreshadows the fact that their freedom is completely false! As free as they feel, they are still reliant upon machines and in that reliance they remain blind and the smarter AI on the surface are able to control the small human population as they see fit. Its brilliantly sad once you make this realization!
The whole premise of being in a controlled caged is so interesting!!! Some see it as freedom/salvation while others see it as slow inevitable damnation 🤔🤯
28:07 - The weapons Neo psyche pulled from the walls are not called kitanas, they are called "Tsai".
You guys must watch Conspiracy Theory with Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts. Y'all will be falling off your loveseat but will also love the film!
"Is that method man?" How dare you disrespect Hall of Fame boxer Roy Jones Junior!!
You asked “What’s the deal with staying off the freeway”, then you saw the freeway scene lol
I love the beginning of this movie. The agents are still fear imposing creatures, but no longer so for Neo.
I love the fact that you guys understood the themes and messages behind this movie on first watch better than 95% of people
Hey all! Love your reactions!! The Matrix series is pretty amazing! I hope your PO box is still valid. I've sent y'all a few items! Have a great day!!!
"He's going to work with that pole." I DIED laughing!
I love reloaded. That architect scene is one of my favorites. The idea of it, the way he talks, and the thoughts it provokes. I always took the screens as all the possible answers neo could give.
Ohh, and thank you for understanding 95% of everything. It was refreshing.
Yoo willl yall react to the last one
Please, Please, React to the full collection of movie saga's. It's a bit frustrating when a full body of work is not reviewed. The Third movie "Matrix Revolutions" is so, so important to the complete story. I really love sharing saga's like this with the two of you on your movie night reactions. However; unlike other movie series, you have not connected with all of the movies in the complete body of work. This is also seen in your reactions to "The Mummy" collection, The "John Wick" collection, and I believe the final movie in the "Hobbit" collection. I could be wrong. I can't seem to find these additional movies in your reactions. Please let me know if I am looking in the right or wrong place. Have you reacted to these, and I just need to do something different? I know you are trying very hard in your busy life to "Give The People What They Want". Thank you. Canadian Grandma Lori.C.
"The one" is very simple. The machines know that no matter what they do, someone will eventually get through. It is just statistics. It happened before & sooner or later, it WILL happen again. Although it was never released in theaters, you definitely want to watch "The Animatrix" which came with the DVD box set. The Amimatrix is a group of animated short films that expand the story of The Matrix, including how the war with the machines started. Definitely DEFINITELY need to watch it even if it is on your own without posting a reaction to it.
4:22 This Agent is The Lead Henchman in John Wick, he fights Keanu twice in that movie
4:51 to answer your question, YES Keanu had a stunt double for some scenes, mainly falls and acrobatics. That stunt double's name is Chad Stahelski, the director of the John Wick movies
When's the next matrix reaction?
I have seen all 4 of the Matrix movies, I loved them all but I must say and others have said it 1 watch is not enough I have seen all 4 at least 5 or 6 times each. No spoilers but we get a lot more action in Zion in the 3rd one, and some fancy flying from Niobe. Jay you are gonna love it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The twins are actually agents themselves of a previous version of the Matrix. Now they are exiles
Ironic that Smith becoming a virus calls back to his speech to the captured Morpheus in ep1 when he calls humans a virus.
Why didn't you guys still didn't upload matrix revolutions?
Soooooo Matrix Revolutuons Reaction???
You've forgotten the end of the first one, when Neo says "I wont say how its going to end, I will say how its going to start" he hangs up the phone puts on the sunnies then flys off!!!
Holy ... That was Dr Cornell West as Councilman West! 🤯
PLS WATCH THE HOBBIT, IT IS THE CONTINUATION OF THE LORD OF THE RINGS WHICH U LOVEDDDDD PLSSSSS
A prequel is not a continuation.
Reloaded was an incredibly good follow-up to the ground-breaking original and set the stage for something truly epic... but the third. in the grand tradition of trilogies, went the wrong direction and left pretty much everyone ultimately disappointed.
That is a matter of personal perspective. When I read "Lord of the Rings" decades before Peter Jackson's Trilogy's I gave away my hardcover copy because I hated the end but after watching the movies I came to understand that not all endings are "Good" endings, just like in life, so I came to accept it for what it was, not the "Best" ending, but an incredible story.
That's like, your opinion man
Disagree.
I love that you two don’t feel the need to use coarse language. You red-pilled away from lazy communication! Thanks for that!
FYI, the Oracle actress died before the Matrix 3 was finished so she was replaced with a different actress. In case you were wondering why there was a casting change in 3. Oh and Red Pill Forever.
The best matrix movie 🔥🔥
For the love of all things Holy... do not watch the abomination that is the 4th film. Truly horrible garbage. This coming from an absurdly huge Matrix fan that is obsessed with the trilogy haha
The person neo fought at the restaurant (Seraph), his name is Colin Chau. He is a popular martial artists and has been in many movies
The Chateau is one of the greatest fight scenes ever in cinema.
