- In this video I'll talk about how I fixed my high and left POI issues on my 12 gauge Benelli SBE3 (Super Black Eagle 3) shotgun. I couldn't be any happier with how the shotgun shoots now and I'm breaking clays better with it already. Watch out dove and ducks... it's GAME ON this season!
Benelli USA has received a lot of backlash over the Benelli Super Black Eagles III shooting high (POI) since the new shotguns came out last year. I think it took a while for Benelli to understand what the issue was and a lot of people were really frustrated that their guns were not shooting as they expected and perhaps Benelli really didn't have a very good answer for it at the time.
Well, it seems like they've figured it out and I couldn't be happier with the Benelli USA customer service and the work that they did to get my SBE3 shooting like it should! I still think the Benelli SBE 3 is one of the best duck guns and goose guns available and I hope Benelli has fixed the SBE POI issues on the newer guns coming off the line.

Crazy to buy a $1500-$1800k shotgun and have to send it in for alignment and Hi Viz bead. They should issue immediately recall and compensation to any having issues.

Some people say you're not supposed to aim a shotgun. You're supposed to point it. My explanation is do what works for you and for me for consistency purposes I like to aim down the rib. I will add that. I primarily hunt with a shotgun verses trap, skeet, or 5 stand etc.
as far as it shooting left, get a boresight and use that a lot and practice where youbneed to put your head on the stock. mine appeared to be right until i started that and it shoots perfectly straight about 60/40. im a lefty and i put the right hand cast on it so i didnt have to change my placement too much. these sbe3's are fricken amazing guns i dont care what anyone says. just practice and play with the shim and cast adjustments and its abosolutely stellar. my favorite gun ever.
Thanks for the advice! I do have a boresight and that's a really good idea to practice with it. I've loved the gun so far.
I have a SBE3 BEST and I would suggest trying out the shims that are included with the SBE3.

Honestly spending almost 2000 dollars on a shotgun I shouldn't have to do anything. I have a sx3 only cost me 1100 5 years ago never had to do anything to it. Just other day after 5 years of hard waterfowl it stopped firing or I get 1 shot out of it. But only when its pouring rain. I just think that if I spent that much money on a gun it should be almost flawless..my own opinion
So your saying just because it's a 2000$ gun it should fit everyone?
Matthew Fenton No he's saying if your spending that type of Guap on a shotgun, you shouldn't have to do anything to it and he's right. Don't see this problem with the SBE2's. I'm a firm believer in "don't fix it if its not broken". They obviously didn't pattern test them prior to mass producing. otherwise they would've picked that up. Shame on Benelli. Who cares how soft the stock is and if the bolt seats forward automatically lol. I always keep that bolt nudged forward out of habits anyways. Benelli knows everyone was getting comfortable with what they already had on the market prior to the SBE3. Just another money grab lol. At least make it right the first time. Whatever happened to testing the firearms at the factory prior to sending them out? Too cheap to hire a guy to have fun testing the shotguns out? SBE3 kind of reminds of the Sig p365 at release. Yikes but they worked out the kinks eventually.
I agree! It should have a damn alignment issue after you dropped $2000 for it.. it should perform flawlessly for years before contacting the maker.

Actually I have a monte 12 gauge it shoots 80 20 just took a box of shells and floated the clay pigeon . The next time I went pheasant hunting I’m not the crap out of them.

Interesting that they added a hi-viz bead. That was my solution as well. It would be useful to compare a SBE3 made this year to one of ours to see if the pattern poa vs poi has been to 60/40 like the rest of their guns. Too bad I dnt have another $1800 to spring on a new one haha
Haha. Same here. Yes, I saw that you added a hi-viz sight also. It's all good as long as we get them to shoot like they are supposed to. Benelli was really easy to deal with.
Strix Outdoors good to hear they worked with you. The rep I emailed never replied to my request to verify what type of pattern I should see out of the gun, which was disappointing to say the least.
To me, the high patterning issue with the SBE 3 is more of a minor annoyance than anything else. If memory serves, they experienced a milder form of this issue with the SBE II back in the first few years of its production.
Bought a new one 2 weeks ago. Waited for it do get to the distributor from Benelli. It did the same thing so they have fixed nothing.
SBE3 definitely felt the best when shouldering different shotguns yesterday. After reading all the reviews and watching your UA-cam reviews I can't see myself spending $2000 on a shotgun that's not shooting at its POA. Thank you guys!
I know this is an old thread but I bought a sbe3 in February and it patterned beautiful after I got the shims right. Patterned with 3in and 3.5 Kent steel shot. I think they have the bugs worked out. Also just took it dove hunting a week ago and it was a slaughter.
for one Field guns are supposed to shoot high so you don't loose the target behind your barrel. Secondly I don't understand the bead thing since if the gun fits you you don't even need to look at the bead to get hits if you mount is correct the gun will shoot where BOTH of your eyes are looking. I've got an M2 that shoots like a dream because it fits me great. the M2 came with a bunch of adjustment shims for the drop of the stock and what not so I bet all Benelli did was change out your shim for you based on your pattern.
Raevenswood, I agree with you but most people, myself included initially, do not learn to shoot shotguns with technique and they use the bead to aim and that creates the problem. Benelli didn’t adjust the shims any more than I had already done. They mostly added the higher/bigger bead to force my subconscious to hold a little lower. The biggest problem comes in when you’re shooting at a stationary target (duck on the water, turkey, etc). In those situations you naturally use the bead to aim for a precise shot and that’s where the shooting high problem really comes in. Adding the high bead is a simple solution for most people though
Did you consider using the shims to drop the POI? All benelli’s come with a drop and cast shim kit so you can adjust the POI, I always have to put in the 65mm in order to get the right site picture and POI, otherwise the gun shoots high...
Yes, I did. I have the 65mm shim in and cast it to left hand (since I shoot left handed). It's all good now. I love that new Hi-Viz sight BTW. It comes with 3 different color options and I believe 3 size options in each color. I've been playing around with different colors and sizes to see which will work best. I've been smashing dove and ducks with it this fall, it hasn't let me down.
So you think putting a aftermarket sight on is taking care of it? In my opinion its this general attitude that emboldens them to sell crap to us. The only "alignment " they did to the barrel/receiver is lip service. Of course they where helpful they are jumping with joy that a $8 dollar "fix' saved them from a massive recall issue. Other than styling all shot guns in range otherwise shoot the same and get the job done there is nothing that makes the sbe III any better. However one stands out above the the rest with a true significant advancement. The design and the location (the cheek and the shoulder get recoil softening) of the kickoff on the a400 extreme is a true game changer.
Shotgun, I don't think putting an aftermarket sight alone took care of the problem but it was part of the solution. Don't get me wrong, I think the Benelli line is overpriced for what they are. They are very simple shotguns with some refinements and name that we pay a lot for. What does make the SBE III better for me is that it fits me better than other SBEs and the A400. The new A400 Extreme looks awesome and I really thought about the A400 when I decided to get the SBEIII but the A400 just doesn't feel as natural to me.

Hi Colin, the turkey mounts I'm using are made by Walnut Hollow Country. I believe these are the Deluxe Walnut. I've used them for every turkey mount I've done so far and I really like them.

Is the SBE 3 a european style mount? Which would make sense if it were shooting high because it is designed to shoot a little higher so when you point the gun you can clearly see the full target.
Benelli in general is setup as a european style mount. That being said, there were some SBE3s that were way high from the factory. There are a few options to adjust that to better suit the shooter though. I need to do an update video.
If you take a super black eagle 3 with a right handed shim and a bigger beed and shoot it left handed it will hit on target 👍
What about shim kit just lower stock and adjust cast if you shooting left
I think I mentioned it in the vid, but I had already made those adjustments prior to filming this video. Since, I've learned a few more options for adjustment. I need to make a follow-up video I think.
I think all mass produced guns seem to be the same it feels like a this will do attitude from the makers my Italian over and under shoots just above the point of aim it’s not much fun when shooting long looping clays
I hear you. Understanding the criteria that Benelli uses for determining if a gun is hitting proper POI leaves me feeling that way a bit. However, even very high end O/U guns require adjustment to the shooter to make the shoot just right. I do wish Benelli and others had a bit more extensive shims to help make those adjustments.
piece of junk if you ask me. $1700-1800 gun and they cant get them to shoot straight when they leave the factory. had a sbe2 a few years back that shot way high, like 100/0 pattern. didn't even bother sending it back for them to fake fix it and send me a bogus target saying it "shoots within their specs" embarrassing for the company. I've got plenty of brownings and they all shoot great. Benelli will never get my money again. browning for life.

It can be frustrating. There are several things to try. Make sure you have the right shims, Front sight, check your length of pull, you may need to put the extended butt pad and lastly you can adjust the barrel stop ring.
Just bought a super Eagle 3 was wondering which choked to use and what kind of shotgun shells can I buy for the very 1st time I've yet to shoot it mostly going to use it for dove hunting.
Rudy, mine cycled everything except for 7/8oz loads. Any standard clay or dove load should work just fine. I've mostly been using Monarch (Academy Sports brand) ammo since it's cheap but it should all run. Chokes: I use the Benelli IC for almost everything. I purchased a Light Modified that I use sometimes for dove hunting or I'll go to an IM if I think the shots are going to be really far.

Good Luck and stay safe. I'm in Houston just a few hours away from you. If you get a chance, check how the gun is patterning for you and make adjustments to the shims that came with the shotgun as needed.
I own many shotguns and this SBE3 kills more birds than all the others. Reason? It shoot high, on purpose. This sight picture let's you track the speed, angle, and impact on birds. Other 'hunting style' sights like 870, 1100, 11-87, Beretta you 'cover' the bird with your sights and lose track of whether you hit or not. The 'float the bird' above your sights let's you see all the action. You focus more on the target and less on the sight. Even better when shooting clays. Yes, it will screw you up when you go back to 'traditional' sight gun, but this purpose built gun works. It doesn't need to be fixed, you just need to practice at the range. Enjoy shooting my favorite gun in my lockesr.
I agree with you Ben. It's a big change if you're coming from one of the other shotgun manufacturers that you mentioned already which is an issue for a lot of folks looking to upgrade. However, there did seem to be a run of SBE3 that seemed to be shooting even higher than their typical 60/40 pattern. I don't know if that's still an issue. I'm happy with mine. Its putting the smack down on some birds and one of my buddies switched to an SBE3 this year and he's been shooting really well with it. It's not for everyone. Gun fit makes all of the difference.
I had a nice 60/40 pattern with trap loads. Then I go out on opening day and miss. Missing everything. Easy shots. Missing. Go hit the patterning board and my duck loads are shooting well over 100/0 pattern. What a mind fuck. Patterned a 3 1/2 inch load and the pattern is even higher. This is all off a lead sled. Wish benelli could explain that. Let me know if shell length is affecting your pattern?
Todd, that is a complete mind F. To be honest, I need to do more patterning with my duck loads to see if mine is doing the same thing. Here's the thing though.. I'm not sure that shooting it from a lead sled is definitive. The recoil impulse, the angle of the buttstock will not be lined up directly into the back plate of the lead sled. I'm not sure if that might cause some of the issue that you are seeing at the pattern board. If you didn't do it already, I would suggest trying to pattern the gun but shouldering it instead of using the sled. Do a couple of pattern tests. Try holding your front bead below the center of the pattern paper (figure 8) and see what it does and also try the exercise of starting at a low gun position, focusing on the center of the target and brining the gun up and shooting while remaining focused on the target. This drill will more closely resemble how you shoot at birds on the wing. I've been an ace with my SBE3 in the duck blind at times and other times I feel like I can't hit the broadside of a barn and unfortunately, the more you start thinking about your pattern, the more likely you are to miss because you start trying to AIM with your front sight instead of focusing on the target. If you have a shotgunning/sporting clays place with a pro shop near you, you might ask them to take a look at how the gun fits you. Perhaps there are some misaligments there also that can be adjusted. Not saying there isn't a problem with the gun itself but just trying to offer some things to try.
@@strixoutdoors I had shot first off the shoulder and it was so bad I assume I was flinching. Then I tried the sled. Same deal. Anyways I solved the problem. Proud new owner of a Maxus 2! Which shoots exactly where i aim LOL.

Hmm.. That's odd, did Benelli send you back a pattern target showing how they patterned it? If it's shooting low, check the shims and make adjustments to that (ie, if you have a 65mm shim in put the 55mm instead, etc). Did they add a Hi-Viz sight? Maybe try using one of the smaller bead fibers. The one I have has multiple colors and sizes that are easy to change out.
Strix Outdoors no they didn’t send me back a pattern sheet , I’m upset cause the gun fits me perfect with the shim it has in it . It’s eye level , and yes I’ve been having a hi vis sight on it . I’m upset now cause when I float the target when I pattern the shot is a lil low and I understand on how to use the poa . It’s shooting a 50/50 pattern I want it back to a 60/40
And I only sent it back cause it was shooting a little to the left , but I don’t wanna change the shim because when I aim in the mirror it’s perfect eye level , not too high and not too low I’m upset that’s its shooting a 50/50 now , I literally aimed right inside the bullseye and got a 50/50 when it should be high . I know about floating the target but when I float it , it shoots low .
John, sorry to hear that bud and I understand your frustration. I know it's maybe not optimal, but I would still try changing the shim. You may not be flat eye level to the rib any longer but maybe it will get you the 60/40 yiou're looking for.

I am confused. Why wouldn't you just change the shim to lower POI? You are not supposed to be looking at the hi viz bead BTW. You shouldn't even see that.
I had already changed the shim and made all of the normal adjustments. I agree, I don't "see" the bead when I'm wing shooting but a LOT of people don't shoot enough to ignore the bead. Also, when shooting at a stationary target (bird on the water, turkey, etc) it's very natural to aim with the bead.

J'avais le meme probleme avec mon benelli droitier. Je suis un tireur gaucher et mon patronage etait beaucoup trop haut. J'ai ajusté ma crosse avec la plaque d'ajustement pout les gauchers et ajuster la crosse de 60mm a 65mm et maintenant je tire bulleye et j'arrive a attraper mes 3 canards ou outardes sur un seul voilier.

For non French speakers, Jimmy basically said the following: He had the same problem with his RH Benelli. He used the shims and adjusted to 65mm shim and is now hitting bullseye. He can hit 3 ducks in one shot now ;)

Yup. It has it's purpose for sure. Each gun fits each person a bit different though. My buddy just bought an SBE3 and it fits him perfectly. 50/50 spread
I was going to buy the sb3 but changed my mind. I talked with a benelli expert at cabbalas and he said yes they shoot high and pointed me in the direction of the be a500

Man i tried thr raffaelo crio 20 gauge, Montefeltro 12 gauge the crio comfort 12 gauge and now i have a 12 gauge Vinci and they all shoot high . I think it's b coz Of The intertia system, and so far all ppl i know sold their benellis coz they couldn't hit shit with them. I have the same hiviz bead and a limb saver slip on pad and will tell u how it will be after a shoot it for a couple of weeks wish me luck. ( i still havent found the best choke amd shells for the best dense pattern) trying my best.
Good luck man, i hope you get it figured out. I'm shooting Kent Tealsteel and Fasteel with either factory extended IC or Briley extended LM chokes. I can't remember if I've patterned those loads but I'm killing ducks with it so I'm happy.
how do you change the sight out on the SB3?
Braden, Benelli did it for me when I sent the gun in to them but it's pretty simple. Just unscrew the stock sight. The frame that the small fiber pin is mounted in has a thread on the bottom of it that screws into the top rail, just back it out. Installing the Hi-Viz sight is pretty simple too; The Hi-viz sight comes with a screw. I recommend using some blue locktite on that screw. Secure the Hi-Viz sight frame with the screw and then insert the size/color of fiber that you prefer.
@@strixoutdoors i never look at the barrel when shooting so what good does a hi viz sight do ,you cant look at a sight at two and a half foot away and a target at forty yards at the same time
stewart, i agree that proper technique would ignore the sight when shooting but everyone doesn't have proper technique and even when you do, you sometimes revert to a bad habit of looking at the bead.... of course, those are often the times you miss. The one exception is shooting a stationary target (turkey, duck on the water, etc). It's very natural to aim with the bead in those situations. I do believe, that even when ignoring the bead you do subconsciously notice it and if you're POI is high then the larger or higher bead will help bring your POI down. What I really like about that Hi-Viz sight is that it gives you a lot of options and flexibility to try to dial the gun in to how each person shoots. These are just tweaks, it won't fix any serious misalignment issues.

Best method is take your front sight bead off completely. Its simply not needed. Learn to float your target and lool at the target, not your bead. Your brain will know what it needs to do to make more consistant hits.
They did the same thing to my sbe3 still shoots like junk Always owned benellis will be trading it off on something else way to common of a problem with no real solution
Mark, sorry to hear that man. If it doesn't shoot for you after getting it back from Benelli, then I agree 100% that you need to get rid of it and get something else. I was very close to doing the same with mine but I'm happy with it now after Benelli messed with it.
The problem that I see is that Benelli sbe3 has a problem and the company should fix it free of charge.You should not have to buy a HiViz sights to correct the problem that is the fix for Benelli to fix and not wait and hope for hunters to complain before they fix it.I have Remington,Winchester,Mossberg,Ithaca and Browning shotguns and have not had this problem shooting high.My choice to buy what I want as it is yours but with this information I will not buy from Benelli.Nice looking gun but looks can be deceiving.I think I'll stick with American made or Canadian.
Benelli fixed my gun free of charge. They sent me a pre-paid return label in order to ship the gun back to them and they did not charge me for the HiViz sight.
Why would you shoot under a target ?when i shoot ducks pigeons etc i want to put the gun right on them in fact i dont even look at the gun.Why put a big sight on the end .You cant look at two things at once you either look at the target or look at the sight ,,,and miss
Stewart, excellent points. Here is my take: When you shoot a fixed object (duck on the water, turkey, etc) it is very unnatural to me to aim "below" the target. I really have to think about aiming low if I'm finishing off a duck on the water and it's messed me up several times. However, when you are wing shooting, or shooting at any moving target its a little different. You are 100% correct that you can't be looking at two things at once (target & sight). You need to focus 100% on the target and not think about the sight. However, your brain picks up the sight in your peripheral vision and it provides a reference. So to me, if I'm focusing completely on the target the bead tends to be below and in front of the target. In that way, the bead never blocks the target from view as I track it through the air.
I use my SBE III grouse hunting. I have missed too often shooting at a still bird. Frustrating! Do you feel this will help?
Daniel, I hear you. I still struggle with birds on the ground/water. Here is what I suggest: Pattern your gun with use the shims that came with your Benelli to adjust the drop if you need to. I'm guessing you will if you haven't done this already. A lot of it is in the way you are aiming, Benellis are designed with the wing shooter in mind and the idea is that the bird if flushing and flying away from you or you have a crossing/angled flying shot. With that in mind, the best way to track a bird moving like that is with the front sight below the bird so you're not obstructing your view of it and thus the Benelli's are designed to shoot "high". If you pattern the gun "aiming" like I mention in the video (which is holding the front sight below the target) and you are still really high, add the Hi-Viz front sight and that will help. The sight raises the front sight pin a bit and also allows you to pick bigger (or smaller) fibers for the front sight. The next thing I've found to be useful when shooting at birds on the ground is to just shoulder the gun, focus on the bird and shoot and STOP aiming. The more you can train yourself to shoulder properly, put your head down on the stock properly, focus on the bird and shoot and less on aiming the better off you'll be wing or clay shooting in general. Your stance makes a difference also. Try shouldering the gun in just an upright stance and also in a slightly forward/leaning into/aggressive shooting stance. Does that change how much of the top rail you can see? If you have the gun adjusted for drop properly you should just be looking across the top of the rail. If you can see a lot of the rail and you're following it up (with your eye while your cheek on the stock) then you're going to shoot high. Hope that helps.

Yes, I agree. BUT, at least their customer services was top notch and they did take care of it. I love the gun otherwise and I think it fits me better than some of the alternatives.
I just contacted Benelli to see if they corrected the SBE 3 high POI. This is what they sent me - "Barrel stop ring has to be adjusted sometimes to correct an out of Spec. P.O.I."
Question is, why would I want to pay damn near $2000 for a gun where I'd have to do this? Or have to send it back? Why wouldn't they just fix this issue?
True Scotsman, I agree completely. Of course, the problem is that you can’t just take it back and get a refund if you buy this gun and have a problem with high POI. The thing is that I really love everything else about this gun I like how it fits, I like the foregrip, the shell port and that it cycles just about everything and I think I’ve only had 1 time that it wasn’t feeding a particular box or a cheap brand properly. So, IMO, there are so many great things about this gun but if you happen to get one that shoots too high then there is still hope. You don’t have to try to sell it at a loss.

It (SBE 3) was hands down the best one I shouldered in the gun shop. I think I might just use my O/U TriStar for one more season and hope they come out with a newer 2020 version that addresses this problem. Thanks for the reply and just trying to keep everyone updated on the latest from Benelli!

You didn’t fix it cuz it wasn’t a problem. If you understand the design by Benelli then you’d understand it shoots higher on purpose. Benelli actually promotes a 6:00 hold furthermore if you shoot like other shotguns then you will cover the target and can’t see it. This design actually prevents the shooter from having to keep raising their head.
They gave you this “solution” so they would keep getting good Press but this is NOT A PROBLEM. This is a lack of understanding of Benelli’s design.
Thanks for the comment Nathan. Initially, I thought it wasn't a problem also and it was just me needing to get use to the Benelli. I'm very aware of the design of the Benelli shotguns and discussed proper holding/aiming with Benelli before sending it in. Holding at a 6:00, the gun was shooting more like a 90/10 pattern and was also off to the left several inches. It was outside of Benelli's specs. Benelli also admitted that they had a run of guns that had a problem with barrel/receiver alignment and my shotgun was likely one of them. Nathan I would have to say that is an excuse. Fine we all know you hold under the target but Benelli's just shoot far too high like this example maybe 9 to 12" at 30 yards. I was amazed how far off they are . For instance do a mercy shot on a duck and miss high. Finally if Benelli hears all the complaints why don't they just modify their design. I for sure will never buy another one. Parents bought me a Wingmaster 870 about 42 years ago. Killed everything there was to be killed and I didn't have to adjust how I shot. I gave my gun to my friend to see and he gave it back!!!!
Shooting high is fine. I like a 60/40. Shooting left is trash.
So you actually didn't fix anything. Benelli fixed it for you. Your video is pointless.
Hi Jake. Thanks for leaving a comment. I didn't intend for the title of this video to suggest that I fixed the problem. It means that my problem is fixed... Yes, by Benelli in this case. The main reason for this video is that most videos about the SBE3 ony complained about their shooting POI problem but didn't offer any solutions. This is to help people that have an SBE3 and can't get it to shoot like they want. Mostly, Benelli installed the Hi-Viz sight and that might be all that someone needs after they have already tried adjusting the shims.
All European shotguns shoot high because skeet shooters and pheasant hunters like to see the bird so instead of lifting your head off the stock to see the target which will cause you to miss they just aim low . I shoot a browning maxus which throws a 50/50 pattern and love it
Not all Browning is 60/40 which is perfect
@@browningmaxus5360 Italy, Germany, and Spain are all in Europe. They all shoot to point of aim or 60/40. We call this solution "Kentucky Windage" in America, and it's not the sign of a premium firearm.

i had one and i got rid of it. If you use that gun for its intended use (waterfowl hunting) you will notice the heavier the load the higher the point of impact. back up to 30 or 40 yards with a heavy load and look at how high it shoots. bad design by benelli
The real issue here is the sbe3 is for real shotgunners that know what they’re doing.. not the average person. Absolutely nothing wrong with the guns
I know what you're saying but I think Benelli did have some issue early on. The more recent SBE3s that I seen people shooting don't seem to have the same issues. But I agree.. Benelli's are designed to shoot 60/40 and most of us American shooters expect (or have been accustomed to) a 50/50 with the front bead covering up the target. Not great except for stationary targets.
all they did was drop the stock by changing the shims , simple yet complicated
JohnDoeGlo Gloku, no I don’t think so, I already had the shim with the biggest drop on and changed the cast to left hand also.
I just bought mine needles to say very disappointed. Trading it in . Hell my remington 870 super patterned wayyyyyy better and it was a 700 gun. Never again with benelli

@@strixoutdoors shot 1 ft and half high and to the left. Tried different spacers , chokes, name brands of shells and different people shot with no luck. Called benelli they said yeah we know it jacked and they been known this since the SBE 3 came out. He told me send it in and well fix it. I laughed and went on and sold it.

@@strixoutdoors they asked but our duck season is ending soon and they said it'll be a month or so till I get it back. Plus it's a 2k gun that's been on the market for a minute knowing it has problems and still selling it? No thanks.plus I've talked to my local gun dealer and he said we have 2 in the back that's been to benelli twice each time and still isn't right, Benelli don't walk on water. I went a different route and picked up a browning. Time will tell but so far it's patterned flawlessly and ran 500 rnds of skeet shot and #2 shot with out missing a beat..
Capt P, well that does stink about your experience with the SBE3. I wonder when your gun was made and if it's somehow still from the early production runs of this gun maybe? I don't know. I can understand your frustration with it and at the end of the day no point in keeping a gun that doesn't shoot for you. I hope you get top dollar for it when you sell it and I wish you the best with the Browning. They look like fine guns. I only have experience with my Browning Citori O/U which I do love.
