@Jared Bozarth. Well Shaun never did hard drugs like Heroin, where Layne and Kurt did. The lyrics, the riffs, Shaun's amazing singing voice... perfection in it's purest form. This song saved me from myself a while back. It saved me from a dark, dark place where there seemed to be no exit.
The way they utilize every instrument in their music is so amazing. I can focus on a different instrument every time I listen to this album and notice details I’ve missed for years
This is amazing...hands down the best live acoustic jam ever recorded. Does anyone appreciate the f-in talent it takes to sound this good? I love love love Shaun Morgan's voice!
Fighting my sobriety after being an insane alcoholic, getting sober for 5 years then losing a few family members, went back to drinking. This song resonates through every damn bone of my body. Hoping I can conquer the demon again.
Today's music doesn't have purpose ,Meaning,Substance ect.....Not only did we get a great sounding song,With AMAZING Vocals But Some of the best writing ever written in my opinion, This song got me Through some of the darkest time in my life & Word for Word 😮I So Could & Did Relate to ever word in the Song! Such an Underrated band !
I remember when this came out! Long ass time ago and I was using a friends car and just popped by Best Buy to run in and grab this CD. Yeah CD. We didn’t have streaming back then. Lol And sure as hell I was in such a hurry to get back and pick her from work I locked the keys in the car. 350 dollars for a locksmith (thanks BMW) later I was 2 hours late to get her but I had an awesome CD! 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️😁
I have always loved all their music. This song gives me hope. I feel like I'm in hell right now, due to my own mistakes with addiction, and life issues. I am the only one who can change it. I'm 3 days sober now, and I have the hope and motivations to get better for myself and my family. I am prepared now, and I am fine.
I never thought I’d suffer from alcohol addiction after watching my dad die from alcohol poisoning at 12 years old. After 25 years of life I come back to this song and it helps me feel like shit
Favorite band of all time! SEETHER inspired me to pick up the guitar and Shaun influenced my vocal singing from the first time I listened to this song on disclaimer! I have been in chorus acts my whole life but no one has influenced my vocals this much as this man's soothing yet powerful vocals!
I believe that if Seether is your favorite band you must already have listened to it, but the version from Fragile Album (at the time, they were Saron Gas) is my favorite. Is pure grunge. I really love it and it has influenced many of my compositions, Seether is my favorite band of all time too, along with Jerry Cantrell.
2023, still brings tears to my eyes, in my opinion this is in the top 3 acoustic performances ever. My pop died a few months ago from cancer, my nan just got diagnosed, she's been given 2 weeks to live, my sister is about to get married and my nan won't be there for it. I'm honesty weighing up my options and have been for a while, I love you guys. And if it wasn't for music I would have taken my life a long time ago. Music is the essence of all life. Never stop playing
Hope you didn't take your life. I tried on Feb 8th and i'm glad I failed. It's not about me or you. It's the people that care about you, even when you think they don't care. Please don't harm your self.
What are your other top favorite acoustic songs? I hope youre still around to listen to beautiful stuff like this song. Sometimes its the only thing that helps keep us alive and connected and understood by complete strangers.

Anyone still up from 2022?
Seether is the best 🤘🎶 but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” by SLT 🐺🔥🎸🎧🎹!!!
Hard to believe this was 15 years ago. It has always been one of my favorite live performances ever and I still have the original DVD version.
Lol
And sure as hell I was in such a hurry to get back and pick her from work I locked the keys in the car. 350 dollars for a locksmith (thanks BMW) later I was 2 hours late to get her but I had an awesome CD! 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️😁
When you realize you truly understand the meaning now that you’re older
I have always loved all their music. This song gives me hope. I feel like I'm in hell right now, due to my own mistakes with addiction, and life issues. I am the only one who can change it. I'm 3 days sober now, and I have the hope and motivations to get better for myself and my family. I am prepared now, and I am fine.
How’d it work out for you?
@@BD52Ravens Alive and well with 2 years sober. Life is good
You got this man
Still goin... Living the good life now. Watch it go!
Im a professional jazz player and I can enjoy a good seether song every once in a while
Seether is the best 🤘🎶 but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” by SLT 🐺🔥🎸🎧🎹!!!
Very underrated band
I like Seether, has got Nirvana's spirit in some of its songs, without being a impersonation.
yes true...
He had to be a big fan of kurt
did you see there cover of something in the way? its fucking great
True but everyone in Rock was somewhat influenced by Nirvana. Even super heavy bands will admit that.
But this song is better then nirvana
Legendary song. Deserves all the recognition. Seether is a hidden gem no doubt.

"I feel the dream in me expire and there's no one left to blame it on" so fuckin relatable.

This is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “The Wave Acoustic” by SLT 🤘🐺🤘🐺🤘
Seether single handedly got me through my darkest days, instead of ignoring my pain it got me used to feeling the pain so I could learn to cope.
amen
Life is hard glad you pulled through

Classics never fade
I would have loved to hear Shaun and Layne to perform together would have been beyond fabulous
Proud to say they are from South Africa and I am South African!
Favorite band of all time! SEETHER inspired me to pick up the guitar and Shaun influenced my vocal singing from the first time I listened to this song on disclaimer! I have been in chorus acts my whole life but no one has influenced my vocals this much as this man's soothing yet powerful vocals!
Seether is my fav band of all time also :)
Mine too, I love them
I believe that if Seether is your favorite band you must already have listened to it, but the version from Fragile Album (at the time, they were Saron Gas) is my favorite.
To the KING LAYNE STALEY & MIKE STAR REST IN HEAVEN!!! Till we all meet something again!
