Says who? They've had a long career and many albums. Hardly underrated especially considering the bands they've toured with and events they've headlined.
Allison Newberry still just staring at those three Mesa Boogies.... that rig is a dream (also, I would guess having that mesa preamp assists with the nirvana-esque sound he's often attributed with)
my word they should such a talented muso is shaun Morgan and a brilliant guitarist and also another inspiration along with Kurt, gavin rossdale, Dave Gilmour and Brian molko who have Inspired me to play and progress as a guitarist
Doofus Alowishus it's a good idea maybe for like a anniversary tour for never mind or something. I'd be on board for Shaun to front that! He's the closest I've heard in modern who could pull off nirvana songs and do them justice. Hell they do nirvana covers in their set lists.
Seether is inspired by Nirvana and all of the awesome grunge bands of the 1990's, and yes they do sound a lot like Nirvana, but it sounds amazing. Nirvana is amazing and so is Seether, simple as that.
I’m sure that the guy would appreciate not being called a Cobain clone. He’s an artist in his own right and no doubt influenced by Cobain but Seether is post grunge/nu Metal. Would suck to be stuck in someone’s shadow.
I don't think people are saying he's a clone. Just that his vocal style and voice is reminiscent of kurt cobain. Honestly, I'd assume he's take the similarities as a compliment and that's coming from someone who isn't a fan of nirvana
Seans so fucking talented man. Highly underrated band, every song they write is great. not many bands can say that, I can listen to any Seether song at any time, not many bands I can do that with even some of my all time favorites, but Seether man, every song they write just kicks ass.
I only play air guitar, and love rock music, but, , I'd like to thank the Guitar Shop for uploading this and "Rise Above This", especially in 3D HD. I don't have a lot of favorites stored, but this is one of them (my ultimate favorites here include Sean Gilbert's Caddy under "Hotrod Cadillac", but I am also a big Seether fan who finally went to see them at the Monster UPROAR concert at the DTE Energy Center (old Pine Knob) and am looking forward to seeing them again at the Joe Louis Arena!
kaylynn melrose U are right!! Funny that everybody is saying that he reminded them of Cobain. Exactly what I was thinking as I watched him during this. His movements are similar, his voice is similar, and his intensity is definitely similar. They kick ass!!
Not gonna lie but they need one more guitarist so Shaun doesn't have to do all that work of playing lead and rhythm and switching back and fourth from clean to distortion
camden baker They usually do when they do shows and tours. The reason why they don't at this is because either before or after these performances they did an interview.
Shaun Morgan has one of the most underrated voices in all of modern rock.
This band is so underrated...great performance!
One of the most underrated of all time.
Says who? They've had a long career and many albums. Hardly underrated especially considering the bands they've toured with and events they've headlined.
They are not! Come on!
What do you mean? They were selling out arenas 15 years ago. Underrated bands are at nightclubs paying to play…
This band is living proof that Grunge music is not dead... and that it never did. I love you, Shaun!
Love seether. I’m 38 now, I remember selling disclaimer2 at Sam goody. Good times
that was so epic and so GRUNGEEEE
"Grunge what is that?" Kurt Cobain
Love them all but damn John is such an amazing drummer
His dynamics are top notch. He is really exceptional
They do a damn good live performance
supershark 9k seen them live in Columbus Ohio at Rock On The Range in 2010 with my son, AND THEY FREAKIN KILLED IT! THEY ARE AWESOME LIVE.
the best Remedy performance i’ve ever heard
Yeah, even though it's 3-pc.
I've listened to that solo countless times now.
Never gets old.
This is how music is fucking done!!!!!!! Far the best version of this song!!!!!
My favorite band of my life
oh gosh those guitars sound extremely raw, awwww yes I love it :D
Allison Newberry still just staring at those three Mesa Boogies.... that rig is a dream (also, I would guess having that mesa preamp assists with the nirvana-esque sound he's often attributed with)
Best part
Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic should get Shaun Morgan to front Nirvana.
yeah, that will be good
my word they should such a talented muso is shaun Morgan and a brilliant guitarist and also another inspiration along with Kurt, gavin rossdale, Dave Gilmour and Brian molko who have Inspired me to play and progress as a guitarist
No dont try and bring back nirvana
Doofus Alowishus it's a good idea maybe for like a anniversary tour for never mind or something. I'd be on board for Shaun to front that! He's the closest I've heard in modern who could pull off nirvana songs and do them justice. Hell they do nirvana covers in their set lists.
Well yeah, that's why they don't ask him because he sounds so much like Kurt. That's why they've been getting female vocalists and what not.
Drums sound incredible
3 of the nicest guys I’ve ever met and such great artists
People ask why Seether is big..still....listen to him sing the first 3 words...he has it.
Come as you are, as you Were... Great cover
His voice is very reminiscent of Cobain.
jeff fels he is as greazy as Kurt too.
just saying
ikr
Yea
So is his guitar playing. Kurt is one of his biggest influences
Shawn is a better guitar player than Kurt though. He's tighter
The grunge still brearhing...
love the mid-song jam session! Seether is such an amazing band!
They sure can pull of a great show
I promise you guys, if you ever come back again to Argentina, I'll be there.
No matter what.
I want the 90's back. Amazing time for music. So many greats. Nothing great has come out since.
You know a band is good if it is better live then it is on the record!!! 🤘
Seether is inspired by Nirvana and all of the awesome grunge bands of the 1990's, and yes they do sound a lot like Nirvana, but it sounds amazing. Nirvana is amazing and so is Seether, simple as that.
First band i've ever seen live, and they are totally worth seeing!! Trust me
I've seen so many bands live I don't remember who was my first band I've seen!! 🤘🤘🤘
I wish this show was still on TV.
Awesome performance!thanks to bandslike seether we can still enjoy music like this! They try to keep grungy rock alive!!
Love the stage background
I have this on my DVR and I watch it like once a week! I love this concert!
God that distortion sounds AMAZING!!!!!
This band has really got a Nirvana style 😍🔥
except 1000x better than nirvana
@@jamess3036 except the year late in answering you, i agree with you
His rasp and voice.. is just hipnotising.. i probably spelt that wrong, but it is!
Wow from 3 to 4 minutes of the song was amazing
I’m sure that the guy would appreciate not being called a Cobain clone. He’s an artist in his own right and no doubt influenced by Cobain but Seether is post grunge/nu Metal. Would suck to be stuck in someone’s shadow.
I don't think people are saying he's a clone. Just that his vocal style and voice is reminiscent of kurt cobain. Honestly, I'd assume he's take the similarities as a compliment and that's coming from someone who isn't a fan of nirvana
Hair over eyes
Can’t imagine it bothers him at this point. It’s all he’s heard since the day his music first hit the radio
Best performance ever for Seether
Seans so fucking talented man. Highly underrated band, every song they write is great. not many bands can say that, I can listen to any Seether song at any time, not many bands I can do that with even some of my all time favorites, but Seether man, every song they write just kicks ass.
Gotta love the feedback at the beginning. Best performance of this song I've seen.
I'd love to see shaun perform with dave and krist !

3:13 that middle part was so Cobain playing
I only play air guitar, and love rock music, but, , I'd like to thank the Guitar Shop for uploading this and "Rise Above This", especially in 3D HD. U are right!!
