As it turns out, Kojima had plans for sequels to both Snatcher and Policenauts, but those plans never came to fruition. Snatcher was planned to have a sequel called "Junker's High" that would have explored different storylines and characters within the same cyberpunk universe. But it was canceled. Similarly, Policenauts was intended to have a sequel titled "Beyond Coast." Kojima had expressed interest in continuing the story of protagonist Jonathan Ingram in future installments, but sadly, the sequel never materialized. Although they never got direct sequels, these games have had a significant impact on the gaming industry and gained a dedicated following.
