The American dream was to originally have hope for the future. Back when, they had hope for the future. We as America we’re working for the future and to better it for the future generations. But lo and behold, we’re here now where hope for the future is laid in the hands of those who have never learned the word hope. Can be a sad reality, but with our generation, I believe it’s possible we may wakeup and be that hope. The hope to better ourselves and better the ones around us in love
Well, I mean, during the late 20's to early 30's, dozens of prominent leftist and centrist politicians were assassinated by fascists, the crime rate was rising, especially after 1933, and many of the people's human rights were being stripped away, so maybe the country wasn't really rising all that much.
These works of art are real interesting to study. Especially the one at 0:46. The central image looks like something Picasso would have done with 3 images of Mussolini with 3 different poses. Other than that all the paintings in this video are good examples of Futurist art with their emphasis on things like modern buildings, aircraft, ships, a machinegun and artillery. The emphasis is always on modern things, speed, and power. Although there is an image of the bell tower in Venice and the Doge's palace. There are also what look to be bound sheaves of wheat. Also some images of blackshirt militamen and soldiers. There is also a monument to Mussolini which has DUX written on it which is the Latin for DUCE. These paintings have as their theme speed, power, and color. The Fascists in Italy made use of contemporary design. The Nazi's did not like modern art.
The fascists were not really fond of contemporary art, except when it could be used to communicate their political values. They cracked down on various italian avant garde artists and made them make art for the regime, forcing them to abandon their experimental aesthetics. But yeah, futurism was pretty dope.
Makes me wonder what Italy would be like if they didn't join the war and stayed neutral like Spain, or even helped Austria as they did have friendly relations with Austria before the annexation. A new rome? Maybe, maybe not, but their art really showed they had some ambitions none the less!

Preach it, I wouldn't be much more eloquent but it makes sense if you get it

POV: You're a worker from Italy on the early 30s seeing your country finally rise, the future seems bright.
It was bright. Unfortunately, World War II happened.

But then 40s came and 20 years were for nothing...
Then you remembered that Mussolini was in charge.
20 legendary years, wasted by a single mistake.
Con tantos pensamientos pesados, la esperanza de está canción, hace que me sienta mejor.

The DVX monument is for an example of rationalist architecture than futurist honestly.

except that picasso was a soulless charlatan and comparing the wonderful works of italian futurists to his half-assed filth is an insult
Capisci che è quella giusta quando appende i quadri futuristi in casa e mette Marinetti sul grammofono...
The images and music are so compelling, so American!
@user-xf8oz7nx2p The jazz and the futuristic art-style shares an aesthetic similarity to some American forms of post-moderm art in my opinion.
@@benitomussolini8544 americans plus their commie dogs destroyed that dream. Usa and Russia are brothers.
@user-xf8oz7nx2pyeah… this does have similarity to art deco.
This is the most 1920s thing ever
Brings to mind the Chicago World's Fair.

Mussolini might have ruled until his death. Similar to Franco.
Austria wanted to join Germany, there was no fighting
Imagine singing the German Version in jazz around the streets and people think you are cool without understanding the lyrics
I found a wonderful video, Thank you
Vive le duce ..eja eja alala
I assume that the video is showing Futurist art? I least I think it is from my very limited exposure to Futurist art.
Yes it says in the description
Limited exposure, and that was done on purpose.

Is there a longer version of this song?
Loop mode makes it inifinite
This is from "The Lion of the Desert" film, and I had to edit it to make it longer. Best I could do😢
@@James_MAX_KRIEGER ua-cam.com/video/0L_e_najxDQ/v-deo.htmlsi=-Tz-Vu4z99JLo_N7 when does the song appear?
What I would give to get to experience the optimism of the fascist states of the 30s.
